  • Sehr angenehme und schöne Unterkunft. Ruhig gelegen. Sympathische, zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Alles klappte problemlos.

  • Wir haben ein E-Mail bekommen vom Gastgeber mit der Anweisung wie wir in das Apartment gelangen. Unseren Gastgeber haben wir später eher per Zufall getroffen.

  • April and Ken’s place has everything you’d need for a short weekend or even an extended stay to be comfortable. We liked: trendy space, bikes to ride around town, and the ease of communication with April. Great value for the price and would definitely stay again. My only suggestion would be for a fan to circulate the air upstairs. Loft gets a little stuffy early in the morning.

    Meaghan2018-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very nice place. The area around the pool wasnt as nice as I thought it would be... The neighborhood is a little rough. Using the bike is definitely a great way to get around.

  • The space was wonderful, and it was a great location. It was a quick walk to the French Quarter.

    Tyeler2018-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Lots of character and privacy in this little house/bungalow. April and Ken were quick to respond and left great local tips.

    Jennifer2018-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • My wife & I had a great stay here, April & Ken are wonderful hosts! The place is exactly as described, and a short 15 min walk to the French Quarter. Clean & comfortable, recommended!

  • Whether it's your first time in the Big Easy or another visit, make sure you book this place for your stay. Great location, plus all the amenities you could ask for. April and Ken also provide a wonderful list of places to see and tips on getting around. I would definitely book this place again.

This beautiful home is in a perfect location to explore the City of New Orleans. It is a hidden gem within walking distance of Frenchmen Street, the best local cafes, bars and restaurants (L'il Dizzy's, Port of Call, Cafe Du Monde), and only 2 blocks from the French Quarters. The home is perfect for those who want to be near it all yet still have an authentic New Orleans experience that is usually only available to locals.
This is a true New Orleans home...you'll enjoy all of the traditional details, like the fireplace and exposed brick.
This neighborhood is alive. It's energy is quintessential New Orleans. You won't find a bad meal or a weak drink. The locals are always friendly and quick to start a conversation.
  • Cute clean place to stay, I would say only for two people comfortably. Great location, easy to reach for any recommendations or help (did not need any help.) close enough to walk everywhere but just outside of all the craziness!

    April2017-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time staying at this place on Governor Nicholls. The place was spotless and very well decorated to the classic New Orleans "feel" you would look for. Located just a block from the French Quarter, it was great for walking or taking Uber rides around the city at a low fare. At night, it was quiet and in a non-descript area that was perfect to escape away from the bars and tourists of Bourbon Street.

    Erik2016-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Such a gorgeous space! Everyone we passed in the neighborhood was super friendly and it was within walking distance to Bourbon Street. We really enjoyed our stay, the only complaint was there weren’t any towel hooks and they could use new towels/wash cloths, other than that everything was great!

    Cassie2018-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • The place was very nice and well appointed and the host was available if needed but otherwise respected our privacy.

    Ernie2016-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great location near French Quarter sites! Mark very accommodating and friendly. Beautiful home with tall ceiling and windows. My husband and I love New Orleans French Quarters and would definitely stay here again.

    Shirley2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • We would refer Mark's place to everyone looking to stay in New Orleans. Great host, friendly neighbors and perfect location.

    Carrie2016-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Really awesome. Had a wonderful time.

    Andrew2018-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay couldn't have been better as first timers in New Orleans. Mark and Truedell responded very promptly and gave us incredible recommendations around the area. The space itself is clean and beautiful, best of all, it was in a great location that allowed for us to explore what New Orleans had to offer. Would love to stay here again!

Guest area features private bedroom and bath with its own private entrance. Only 2 miles from the French Quarter by streetcar. Enjoy complete privacy in the guest space or visit with the hosts as you desire. Additional bedroom is available for groups traveling together or families traveling with children. Please discuss your group's needs with the host. New Orleans license number is 17STR-06526.
Private bedroom and bath in our charming shotgun house just off the Canal Streetcar line only 2 miles from the French Quarter. Guest area features private entrance, lovely patio, beautiful antique furnishings, 11-foot ceilings, petite chandelier, comfortable and clean queen bed, and cozy guest robes. Internet, cable TV, parking, oscillating fan, iron, music player, white noise machine, hairdryer, fridge, coffeepot, crockpot, and snacks are provided. The space has a peaceful, airy feel and is flooded with natural light. This listing is unique in that you have complete privacy from the main house. The guest space has its own exterior door, and you are free to come and go as you please. The garden path leading to your room features motion-activated lighting if you are returning after dark. The room is located down the garden path in the rear of the house. A second bedroom is available for groups, so the space can be made to accommodate 1-4 people. We welcome special requests and will make every effort to assist with needed recommendations. We can also provide a travel crib and other baby items if you wish to travel with your childen. We love hosting guests for honeymoons, anniversaries, and other special events. Our home is located in the historic Mid-City neighborhood, which was one of the first neighborhoods to spring back after extensive flooding due to Hurricane Katrina. Mid-City is located, as the name indicates, in the middle of New Orleans on what was once the backslope of the Mississippi River natural levee. Our home was built around 1910 and is a typical New Orleans-style shotgun house. In New Orleans at the time of construction, the shotgun house utilized a minimized lot frontage, on which taxes were based. The houses were also built without hallways and closets, which would have been counted as rooms for tax purposes. The origin of the building style and the name itself may trace back to Haitian influences on New Orleans, as many Afro-Haitian slaves lived in this area. Our house was recently featured on the HBO series "Treme", as the law office of the character Toni Bernette (played by Melissa Leo) and also as part of the interior of the home of Creighton Bernette (played by John Goodman). Guests are free to have complete privacy or to meet with the host as desired to obtain recommendations for food, drink, and attractions. Check-in is offered via a lockbox. Rates may vary during special events and holidays. Our home is located just off the parade route for Endymion, the largest parade of Mardi Gras. The festival grounds for Jazz Fest are just over 1 mile away.
Mid-City is a diverse neighborhood with its own distinctive flavor. Bars and restaurants in this area are largely patronized by locals, so the neighborhood provides an escape from the more touristy areas of the city, while still allowing easy access to the French Quarter via the Canal Streetcar Line.

    Sarah2017-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Very easy check in. The location is fantastic. quite neighborhood. Very clean room. Feels like your staying in your own home because the room is attached to the house but separated by a door so you never have to go into the main house.

    Sydney2015-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great room - clean and tidy and looks just like the picture online. The hosts were easy to get in touch with and gave a folder of tips and recommendations which was helpful.

    Ali2015-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • This was the by far the most fulfilling airbnb experience I have ever had. I felt like a local taking the streetcar to the mid-city neighborhood and entering this private suite from outside. And, as an airbnb host myself, I was inspired by the thoughtful arrangements that made this a 5-star stay. (Yes, I gave 5 stars for every category in the ratings!) I took lots of notes for ideas I wanted to implement in my own home for airbnb guests. It is also extremely clean and polished. Only the Ritz can compete with this place!

    Michael2013-05-11T00:00:00Z
  • We did not see Erin on our visit but that was perfectly fine! We had odd hours and didn't stick around the room long. However, she was easy to reach through text at all times.

    Dalany2016-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • This place was great. It was a quick trip but the room was awesome and private. Easy to access. They supplied towels, mini fridge, even robes. It was an awesome experience and I will definitely be going back to stay there.

I personally especially enjoyed the complimentary New Orleans Beer So we can just recommend Matthew and his studio for a stay in New Orleans.

  • Our getaway to NOLA was a blast, but being able to have a home base at Matthew's mother-in-law quarters allowed us to relax and recharge so we could explore. The bed was so comfortable, the room was clean, and it was easily accessible to the St. Charles street car line (less than .5 mi walk). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

  • Great Location

    Nikki2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Location was great, very close to Quarter, but not square in the hustle. Felt like area was safe, with common sense. Unit was clean and comfortable. However, know that the narrow spiral staircase is the ONLY way to go from floor to floor. Wifi adequate. Courtyard nice, but woke up to animal poop in the courtyard. Upstairs shower tiny. Management below average; be prepared to figure out most things yourself. There is a grocery on the same block around the corner, but we were directed to go about a mile away through sketchy neighborhood. There is no welcome book giving information about the unit, how to work t.v./cable, etc. Had to ask for the basics like kitchen towels, hairdryer, hangers, enough cups and glasses (there were three of each). Lamp switch in bedroom does not work; you have to plug and unplug. Needs some general maintenance like fixing drawers and towel rack.

    Amy2018-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great location. Safe area. Some furnishings damaged/broken but overall we had a great time.

    Karen2018-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • This cozy two bedroom condo offers a lot of NOLA charm. The place is as advertised in the photos. The courtyard was amazing. The only negative was the stairs. They can get pretty tricky after a night on Bourbon Street. Everything else was awesome. Diana was a gracious host.

    Shane2018-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • I wouldn’t stay here again, but it served its purpose for my birthday weekend. Staircase very narrow, takes work getting luggage upstairs. Woke up to dog poop at the front door, it remained there for the remainder of our stay, even after notifying the host. Location is pretty fair, we walked and used Uber. Safe. Getting updates on the place wouldn’t hurt and maintenance. We had to have maintenance come for a toilet issue and broken towel rack. Upstairs shower is very tiny, bathroom downstairs is better. We also saw a few insects in the unit, host claims they’re a “Louisiana or New Orleans” thing, I can’t recall which one, but I would rather not see any bugs during my stay. Not one of my best AirBnB experiences.

    Brianna2018-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • The space was great! Dee Dee provides you with lots of extra amenities which make it extra welcoming. Great location. We chose this space because of having bunk beds. We have twin five year olds. Lots of codes to get in and out but good for safety. Street parking is only 2 hrs and you'll get a $75 ticket otherwise. We weren't told this and fortunately ran in to a parking patrol cop when leaving to walk around before getting a ticket. Not sure what other options are but may want to check if driving a vehicle. Lots of clean linens and space is as photos describe. Spiral staircase is charming but very narrow so if you have lots of luggage be prepared and older folks probably would have issues. Master is upstairs. Great place for a stay overall and would return.

  • Listing was as described. Clean and cozy. Perfect amount of space for 6 people, could sleep more though. Location was amazing, super close to Frenchman St and The French Quarter! We also easily walked back from the Jazz Fest. We had a couple meals outside in the patio and enjoyed the sunshine. We loved staying here.

The Mazant is a plantation-style home dating back to the early 1880s, located in the heart of New Orleans' Bywater arts district - and about 1-1/2 miles from the French Quarter (30 minutes walking or 8 minutes by Uber). We are close to Bacchanal, The Joint, The Country Club, Elizabeth's, and Satsuma Cafe. It's perfect for family reunions, wedding parties, company off-sites, and other large groups.
UPDATE SUMMER 2018: This summer we are making some additional updates to the house, including adding one additional queen bed (upstairs), remodeling three bathrooms, adding a new half bathroom downstairs, and doubling the size of the kitchen. New floor plans are already available online and photos will be updated by the end of September. ----- We have been working to renovate the house over the past several years, seeking to preserve historic details including 13' ceilings with plaster medallions, heart pine wood floors, cypress doors, and a 125-year old oak tree. At the same time, we updated the layout to more comfortably accommodate large groups: * 18-person dining room table * Oversized living room with 70-inch television, surround sound system, and Baldwin upright piano * Private yard (1/3 acre) with fire pit, six-burner propane BBQ, outdoor table, and hammocks * Super-fast WiFi (the top tier that Cox offers) * Front porch (gallery) with historic gas lamps and outdoor seating * Off-street parking for two cars and ample street parking for overflow The house has eight bedrooms with layout as follows: Downstairs - Bedroom 1: one queen bed (semi-private bathroom - shower) - Bedroom 2: one queen bed (ensuite bathroom - shower) Upstairs - Bedroom 3: one queen bed (ensuite bathroom - shower/tub combo) - Bedroom 4: one double bed - Bedroom 5: one twin bunkbed - Bedroom 6: one king bed - Bedroom 7: two queen beds (semi-private bathroom - shower) - Bedroom 8: one king bed There is another shared bathroom upstairs (near the laundry room) with a clawfoot tub-shower combination. Unfortunately, the caretaker's cottage is no longer available for rent.
Just down river (east) from the French Quarter - stretching from Press Street to the Industrial Canal - is the Bywater, where the mood and pace shift as you enter into the heart of an edgier yet still welcoming neighborhood. The St. Claude Arts District, centered around St. Claude Avenue, is home to more than thirty locations exhibiting visual and performance art, along with an array of artisan crafts. Down Piety Street, the fun continues with restaurants, thrift stores and more galleries. Even the homes, cafes and restaurants seem to capture Bywater's eclectic appreciation for the arts. Spend the afternoon at Crescent Park for some impressive views of downtown New Orleans and the Mississippi River. Afterward, you can thrift your way through the neighborhood before stopping in at an exhibition and finally making your way to dinner. The area's restaurants are among the most innovative in the city and are great places to sit with a cocktail and chat with locals. Above all, the Marigny and Bywater neighborhoods illustrate the relationship between the New Orleans arts scene and local life. So whether you're looking for the New Orleans of old, or if you want see where New Orleans culture is headed for the future, the Faubourg Marigny and Bywater will offer you glimpses in either direction.
  • We truly loved your house. It was like another character in our New Orleans play. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. One of the few properties I've stayed at that was really under-sold in its description. Also, spectacular for hide-and-go-seek!

  • This is a stunner of a house in a beautiful, artsy neighborhood. It’s a short ride to the Quarter but quiet and residential, with lots of good food nearby. The house is beautifully decorated and well equipped for groups. The owner and property manager are kind and responsive. Can’t recommend enough.

  • My guests and I had a great time! The house was so beautiful. I can’t wait to come back to New Orleans.

    Amanda2018-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • The house was absolutely wonderful and perfect for our big family. It was awesome to stay at a historic home while in New Orleans, but updated with every modern amenity and decorated beautifully. Lots of room for 15 of us to hang out, both inside and in the great space outside, quiet at night, and a quick uber ride to the French Quarter. Quick responses from our host, who made us feel very welcome. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay!

  • Jeff's place is fantastic! My friends and I flew in town for my wedding and stayed at the Mazant. The location is great (specifically it's proximity to The Joint (a fantastic local BBQ spot)), Jeff's communication and flexibility was amazing (he provided local tips on places to go well before our arrival) and was flexible with check-in since my rehearsal was at the same time, and the house was AMAZING! I would definitely recommend staying at The Mazant.

  • This is the place for you.... This year I was celebrating my 30th birthday with friends and family from across the country and we needed a home base to go out, explore the city and come back to relax. This house provided all that and more. Jeff was always quick to responds about questions we had an accommodated our big group. The house easily housed 16 guests and had plenty of room for us to relax and not feel on top of each other. The house is incredible with a lot of light, open spaces, beautiful yard space and close to a number of good eating spots. By the end of the trip all of our friends were asking if we could comeback every year and stay in this house. Couldn't have been happier with our stay.

    Jesse2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • 5 Stars! Our group of 10 was blown away by this house. It is HUGE, plenty of beds/baths, awesome common spaces (living room, dining room with massive table, big private yard with fire pit), furnishings/decor A+, and all only a 10-min Uber from French Quarter. Don't be scared by any rough surroundings as you drive in. This house is tucked on a nice block and is the gem of the neighborhood. Had everything we needed and would definitely recommend!

  • Cute and comfortable room in a nice residential neighborhood. Firm mattress. Bed felt nicely private. We enjoyed the house book of suggestions--great advice.

  • Andrew always helps me, and was welcoming. It was my first time to use Air BnB, but I had no problems. It was clean and nice location. The bike was so fun to go around NOLA. I would definitely recommend to spend your vacation there!

  • Staying here was fantastic! Even though this was a shared space I barely saw anyone. The bed was super comfortable. They provided towels and wash cloths. And there was a super handy booklet with all kinds of things to do and places to eat. The bikes were a bonus too!!!!

  • Staying here was very pleasant. I am a musician and needed to practice. The hosts were more than accommodating to my relatively loud music making within reasonable hours, in fact they appreciated my music. The room is part of a passageway of sorts so if you need absolute privacy this may not be the right room for you. Though to be clear I had all the privacy I needed and then some.

    Frederik2015-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • The house was quite cold, both because it was a cold day and because I think in New Orleans there is no need for heat systems. I found it quite dirty, I am sorry to say, especially the bathroom. The area is not bad, a little far from downtown but well connected by public transportation. Overall, I recommend not to come here during winter time, apart from that a nice experience.

    Alessandro2015-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • I came down for the Mardi Gras. The place has a good location with easy access to major attractions, the French Quarter and the City Park for example. Andrew is a good host - being patient in giving me instructions on check-in and helped to fix up the heating as well. I enjoyed my stay at NOLA. Thank you!

  • Even though Andrew was traveling in Europe he was still communicating with me to make sure I arrived and everything was good. The kitchen and bathroom were spotless, the room very comfortable, and the house quite charming. He's also got bikes available if you need them, which is a great way to get around Nola. I didn't use them because I wanted to hang in Bywater, which is an awesome, hip neighborhood. Would def recommend Andrew's place, it's clean, affordable and in a great location,

  • Marie Antionette room was clean and cozy. HUGE bed, and the shared bathroom was extremely clean. Not really close to downtown, but Close to the city bus route and there's many local bars nearby that were nice to visit. Looking forward to booking with Andrew the next time I visit!

  • We had a great time staying at Andrew and Amanda's place. The space was clean and charming and their management of their rooms is well-organized. The neighborhood is charming with lots of fun things to do within walking/biking distance. Great deal!

  • Andrew was a wonderful host! The room was very clean, plenty of parking, and centrally located. Plus he makes a zine which details coffee shops, stores, and restaurants in the area with little descriptions.

  • I found everything to be the same way as stated in the site. And I also loved the small signs everywhere just at the right place with information. But most of all, I really liked the city local guide booklet because it made my one day tour to New Orleans very easy. Thank you!

  • This was an awesome spot to stay in New Orleans. I didn't actually meet Andrew. Everything was clean, beautiful, but homey spot in safe location. Walking distance to the French Quarter and in the bohemian Bywater neighborhood that felt like the real New Orleans. Definitely recommend staying here!

  • Nick and Lindsay made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They were very gracious, hospitable and full of excellent recommendations. We loved the house and the room: a wonderful place to stay. And the neighborhood (Marigny/Bywater) is the place to be in New Orleans. We would definitely return.

This free standing casita, tucked away in a tropical garden, includes a small refrigerator with refreshments, jazz records, New Orleans literature, and a clawfoot tub. Off of Esplanade Avenue, it is halfway between the French Quarter and City Park.
The casita is located in the backyard of a side-gallery shotgun cottage. I have been renting it through Airbnb for two years but recently changed to my on profile. The main house was built as part of a series of shotguns developed by two brother from Cienfuegos, Cuba in the early 1860s. The casita is its own building, built in a modern design in 2010. You can come and go as you please through our lush side garden. Inside, there is a very comfortable queen sized bed and bathroom with a clawfoot tub. You are welcome to use the washer and dryer and there is a small refrigerator and kettle. We include some local snacks as part of your stay. We also have a record player with music from New Orleans and books from the region and my own nonprofit publishing organization, the Neighborhood Story Project, for you to enjoy while you are here.
This old Creole neighborhood, in the heart of downtown New Orleans, is in between the French Quarter and City Park. Just a block and a half off Esplanade Avenue, a beautiful boulevard canopied in live oak trees, it is also very close to Bayou Road, the first road in New Orleans! From the house, you can walk to this street, where there is a wonderful collection of shops, including the Pagoda Cafe with the best coffee in town and wonderful breakfast and lunch (located in an old Chinese laundry building), the King and Queen's Emporium (which sells handmade soaps in one of the city's first public market buildings), the CocoHut (New Orleans/Jamaican food), and Domino Sounds Record Shop, which has been featured in national publications as one of the best record stores in the country.

    Hannah2016-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Gute Lage und sehr nette Vermieterin! Süße Details und Bier im Kühlschrank bei der Ankunft!

  • This place was perfect for a couple wanting a quiet place to crash after the craziness that is New Orleans. Absolutely adorable and Rachel was awesome.

    Alex2017-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • A nice little place close to frenchquerter and citypark just as described. We found a few good restaurants and coffehouses in a short walking distance from the house.

    Anna2017-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • Super cozy and private. Tasteful decor. Overall, charming as heck with tons of local flavor.

  • Great Place!!!

    Thomas2018-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • The casita is as you see it in the profile. Nestled in the quiet backyard of Rachel's it makes for a good basecamp for visiting NOLA. Plenty of Uber and Lyft drivers nearby. Rachel is very responsive and accommodating.

    Rhyno2018-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time! It was very, very hot in the city during our stay but the air conditioners worked really well so we slept comfortably. Rachel left us some beer, water, and local snacks which we greatly appreciated! The mini fridge was very useful. The location was a little bit too far from the French Quarter to walk on those 95 degree days, but we got a Lyft for $6-$14 depending on the time of day. We did walk from the house to City Park and took some of Rachel's recommendations for dining which were really great! Rachel was easy to communicate with and a wonderful host. Thank you so much!

    Stefanie2013-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • During a recent week long stay in New Orleans, we found this rental to exceed expectations.. Very comfortable and lovely lodging, easy walk to French Quarter ( we walked every day and into early evenings and felt safe)and just a couple blocks to buses to explore other areas. Jet tub was a welcome treat after long days walking, in house coffee pot, bottled water, juice and snacks were nice touches. Ernie left us lots of maps and brochures and provided daily upkeep to the home without being intrusive at all. While we were out in a surprisingly cold day he even turned on the heaters so we would be warm when we got home. Tip: the larger bed is much softer than the smaller, and the room with the large bed can be kept quite dark for those mornings you want to sleep in. There is a little store deli 5 minutes away with seriously the best roast beef po' boys and mac n cheese found anywhere. (ask ernie for directions) We would definitely choose Robert's rental for our next trip. Thank you for your hospitality!

    Terry2015-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Roberts place! The apartment was beautiful and full of character, better than the pictures. We had a very warm welcome from ernie the housekeeper who told us information about everything you could think of and need to know. Robert later came round and told us stories and history of the house. Ernie did or laundry and cleaned house daily which was amazing, we even had wine and drinks and snacks in the house! Look no further if you want a real feel of southern hospitality and and authentic stay in New Orleans. Getting around is REAL easy, a day pass costs $3 which covers for buses and trams and bus stop is just down the road. Great location. Fantastic stay. Thank you very much we couldn't be more grateful.

    Jacob2015-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • We felt very pampered, it was really fun. There was clean sheets and towels everyday, a couple bottles of wine and lots of snacks. The area is great, it is our favorite place to stay in New Orleans. There are awesome bars and food all around and it is really close to the French Quarter if that is what you are in to. Robert is really great, we had fun talking to him and hearing his stories. You will love staying here!

    Emily 2014-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • Robert (and his housekeeper Ernie) were completely superb hosts. They were attentive, helpful and kind but never invaded my privacy. This is a beautiful little house and gives you the real NO experience. The area of Bywater is much preferable to the French Quarter and I would most definitely stay here again. It is quiet, and funky and I had trouble straying farther than 10 yards away due to the great restaurants/bars/artists studios/shops nearby. I felt safe in this neighborhood (and traveling alone as a woman that is a real plus). It is a short taxi ride ($6) to Frenchmen St where the best jazz in NO is concentrated in one block. I went there each night of my stay and saw some world class - and impromptu street - acts.

    Wendy2012-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Leslie was an amazing host- a true Nawlins local. He guided us from moment number one. The place is beautiful and well appointed. The neighborhood is friendly and easily manageable. I loved it!

    Joel2018-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Leslie is very kind and generous! He went above and beyond in hospitality. He did a few of our garments in the towel laundry, which was above and beyond. There were plenty of snacks and drinks. Clean towels every day and change of sheets midway through. He was very accommodating with our check in and check out times as well, because we had late flight times. The only downside was the wifi- it was basically nonexistent. If that were fixed, it would be 5 stars!!

    Amber2018-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • Leslie's place was great for me and my two friends for a girls trip long weekend. There was amazing charm and character, great amenities like water, soda, snacks, even wine and cheese. Perfect location for us. All in all, wonderful!

One bedroom, ground level apartment in quiet City Park Triangle. Walk to City Park, Jazz Fest, and street car to French Quarter. Fenced yard with gazebo and fire pit. Short walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping.
City Park Triangle is a quiet and safe neighborhood. It is very well located to provide easy access (1/2 block) to City Park (Art Museum, Botanical Gardens, Morning Call) and just 0.4 miles to N. Carrolton Ave to restaurants, shopping and a stop for the Canal St. streetcar line to the French Quarter, Convention Center, WWII Museum and much, much more.
  • Joan’s place is really pretty and in a great location! You must stay here

    Chelsea2018-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Joan’s place is a great value and wonderful location if you want to be convenient to the French Quarter while still enjoying some quiet relaxation away from Bourbon St. It’s right by beautiful City Park and less than a $10 Lyft/Uber to the Quarter (there are also public transit options within walking distance for just a couple dollars round trip on the street cars and bus lines). Joan met us upon arrival to go over a few quirks and details, answer any questions, and welcome us to New Orleans. She had local maps, a book of things to check out around town, and a paper detailing some of the local festivals and activities happening during our stay. We would definitely stay at Joan’s place again!

    Savannah2018-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Words can't describe this apt. It's in a great safe location....close to streetcars and local resturants. Nice touches had water and pralines waiting for us along with coffee available. Joan was friendly and full of helpful local tips. The bed is super comfy and perfect to return to after a long day out. Loved our stay and will stay with Joan again if we ever find ourselves back in NOLA.

This is a "mother in law" apartment added to my house in the 60's. Its a separate residence from my house and although attached there is no access between the two dwellings. Minutes to the French Quarter, downtown, the lakefront, and Mid City. Sure, you can find cooler places in hipper neighborhoods but you will pay ALOT more. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
It's a small (400 sqft) mother in law that was added in the 60's. It cozy and has "charm" in its own way. The bathroom is a kitschy 60's yellow with black trim, and the kitchen boasts a vintage Anderson stove from the 50's. No doubt moved from the main house after the renovation, the stove is like an old Cadillac. It's huge! I have cooked on it a bunch and I actually want to restore it and put it back in the big house. Someday, but for now you can enjoy it. All the burners work, as well as the broiler and hot plate. I never did try and fire up the slow cooker. Currently the oven thermostat is malfunctioning so if your yearning to bake I'll hook you up with my oven. The apartment could use a real renovation as the kitchen cabinets and floors are old and dated but it's not going to happen for a while, hence the low price. It's clean, and we keep it nice, besides you didn't come all the way here to spend time in a house.
Gentilly is quiet suburb just 3 miles north of the French Quarter of traditionally working class families. The homes are larger, and spaced on larger lots than some of the older more historic neighborhoods. My house was built in the 1920's, on gentilly ridge. It's the highest point around, and was high ground for Katrina. We were an island during Katrina, Betsy, and Camille! Getting around is easy. We are centrally located with fast access to the quarter, Mid City, the Fairgrounds, City Park, and the lakefront. You can be almost anywhere in the city in under 10 minutes or less.
  • Great value for the cost! I definitely recommend!

  • Great in law apartment and not too far from the French quarter. In the apartment Joe has a map and lists of great places to eat and see. Would for sure stay again if I’m back in town

  • My boyfriend and I came down for Voodoo Festival and this location was only a couple of miles from City Park and the French Quarter. Uber is super convenient especially when everyone is drinking. The house was exactly what we needed for a weeks stay with plenty of amenities :). Definitely recommended and we’ll certainly be back!

    Jalisa2017-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Joe & Sarah’s place is nice and quaint. We’ve stayed before and as usual we had the same great experience-private, quiet & cozy apartment with touches of NOLA throughout the apartment’s decor. We’re counting the days until we return.

    Loretta2018-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • It's perfectly described, privacy was great, parking was always available and it was easy to get around both with transit and a car. All the amenities worked great and loved the Icelandic water for me in the fridge!

    Correna2017-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • We had an incredible time here. A short distance from many of New Orleans’ attractions and there are chickens in the backyard!! Highly recommend.

    Tieryn2018-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Joe and Sarah are definetely superhosts. We had a wonderful time in their apartment, 10 dollars uber ride to downtown, also 2 minutes from bus stop. We spent christmas there and they invited us to join them and meet their family and friends. It was awesome!!!!! You will find in the apartment great recommendations of local places, and everything you need to spend a perfect holidays in New Orleans. We'll come back. No doubt. Thanks for everything, guys!!!

Please see calendar for daily rates! Some days are lower than others!
Built in the 1860's, "Little Orange" is half of a "shotgun"; thus, it boasts the hallmarks of traditional New Orleans architecture: 13 foot ceilings, cypress mantels, pocket doors, tall shuttered windows, and hardwood floors. The shutters are a vibrant orange to remind you of this city's Caribbean spirit. Bienvenue aux tropiques! The apartment is fully furnished and appointed, the space comprised of a living-room (with queen pull-out couch), equipped kitchen, one bedroom, and small bath. There's wifi, a large flat screen TV, burglar alarm, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer. And a great book collection too. The apartment is best suited for two people; however, it can sleep four when using the pull-out couch. As of Sept. 2016, there's a brand new Queen mattress in the bedroom: it's a Comfort Dreams Select-A Memory Foam (medium-firm) and very comfortable! Please know that when the couch is extended in the living-room, that common space radically shrinks. There's a $25 fee per adult guest #3 and #4. There is no additional fee for children. The front porch overlooks a full block of green space (Annunciation Square Park), home to many soccer and kickball games. There's a basketball court in the park as well (and so a basketball sits in the bedroom closet for you too). I spend more time on the porch than I do in the living-room. The porch also overlooks my small--but robust!--butterfly garden where a small fountain burbles. It's a great place to drink coffee in the morning and wine in the evening, and I hope the night-blooming jasmine is working its perfume when you're here! The apartment is an easy stroll to lower Magazine Street, known for its many boutiques, antique shops, bars, and eateries, as well as to the Warehouse District/CBD and French Quarter. Please check out my map/guidebook! I've mainly tagged places to which you can easily stroll, but I'm happy to offer suggestions for outings in farther flung areas of town. The house is not far from the Convention Center, Mardi Gras World/Productions, The Chicory (wedding venue) and Second Line Stages. If you are in town for a conference/event or working on a film, my location can't be beat. Likewise, if you're in town for a game, a cheap cab ride gets you to the Super dome quickly. This neighborhood has been dubbed one of New Orleans' hottest for obvious reasons. There really is a ton to see and do (and eat) right here. For those interested in getting out to explore other parts of the city/state, it's worth knowing that my location offers convenient access to I-10. No need to traverse all of uptown or the Quarter to find the interstate. The on-ramp is three blocks away, which means the West Bank is five minutes away, the airport, 20 without traffic. If you don't have a car, the bus runs along both Magazine and Tchoupitoulas. I bought this property for its convenience of location. Although the apartment is an easy distance to many hot spots, the neighborhood itself is quiet--another reason I bought this property. Your sleep will not be disturbed by traffic or street cheer. The Mississippi rolls by just two blocks away, so the hood has a sultry "edge of town" feel. I love this about it. Neither uptown nor downtown, it floats in between, spooned by the river(URL HIDDEN) Regretfully, pets are not allowed.
Lower Magazine Street is made for wandering. Just two blocks away, it offers an endless stream of boutiques, cafes, bars, coffee shops, and restaurants of all price ranges. Many guests choose to devote one full day to exploring Magazine. In terms of immediate surroundings, my neighbor is restoring a gorgeous, but run-down, New Orleans Greek-revival mansion. He is doing the work himself (!) with the help of family and friends (it is an impressive undertaking), so his construction work is intermittent. Often there are sizable breaks between bursts. For the most part, it is quite quiet, but construction work does flare up from time to time. As 99% of previous reviews attest, noise is not a regular feature of Little Orange life, yet all potential guests should indeed be aware of the potential for construction noise. Whenever my neighbor communicates his work schedule, I will pass this info along to potential as well as confirmed future guests.

Half double conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood in the Gentilly area. Only 3 miles from the French Quarter, Superdome, and downtown New Orleans.
Newly built home (June 2016) with two private bedrooms and two private bathrooms. Outdoor deck and grill in back. With private driveway for off-street parking.
The neighborhood is very quiet and conveniently located only 2 miles from Bourbon Street, 3 miles from the Superdome, and centrally located to pretty much any other area of the city.
  • Fantastic value for money. Donnell was a great host, very quick with communication, the house was spacious and comfortable. Location seemed safe, and was close enough to town for an uber ride. Thanks Donnell

    Samantha2018-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean house. Host is super nice and is easy to contact. If you are wanting to go to Bourbon it is about a 7 minute or so drive, which is not bad at all. House slept 4 people easily. 5 stars, I would book here again.

  • Donnell’s “Home away from home” is just that. Donnell was so welcoming and the space was very comfortable. So much so that I slept in a little late past check-out the next day and Donnell was super cool about it...not sure another host would have been as nice! I truly enjoyed my stay. It was a short Uber away from the main spots- 10 minutes or less from French Quarter.

Why rent a room when you can rent a tiny house for your trip to New Orleans. This 650 sq ft home is just steps away from the French Quarter. Everything from Bourbon Street, Frenchmen Street, streetcar, bikeshare, and the Central Business District are all just a short stroll away. Private entrance through luscious garden. Perfect for a couple or a couple of friends. Cleaning free is included in nightly rate so there are no extra hidden fees with this listing. (City License: 18STR-15360)
Our guesthouse is located in the rear of our property. Estimated to have been built in 1837 (the same date as the main house), this space has gone through a total transformation. A mix of modern and old New Orleans bundled into a small house. There are 8 sets of French doors, and 4 sets of casement windows, allowing for the space to be drenched in natural light. When the weather is nice and a cool breeze is blowing, there is nothing better than opening all the doors and windows so you can take in all the sounds the neighborhood has to offer. Downstairs is an open living room and kitchen area with a complete 4 piece kitchen suite (full sized fridge stocked with bottled water and a Keurig with coffee), and a moveable island. There is also a flat screen TV with DVR, HBO (so you don't have to worry about missing Game of Thrones), Netflix and Amazon Prime. Netflix and Prime are already logged in for you to use. A spiral staircase leads you upstairs where there is a king sized bed, walk-in closet, a spacious bathroom, and 12 foot ceilings with exposed beams. Want to lounge outside? Hang out in the shared courtyard or if you prefer privacy there is a private patio behind the guesthouse. Parties over 2 persons will not be considered and will be turned away upon arrival. Parking is street parking which is unrestricted and free to all. Cleaning fee is included in the nightly rate so there is no extra hidden fees when staying with us. (City License: 18STR-15360)
The Treme is a wonderful and unique neighborhood unlike any other in the United States. St. Augustine Church is on the corner, which leads to many Jazz Funerals and Second Lines. The church also has an amazing Sunday Mass that is open to the public. As a younger nephew noted, "It's not really Sunday Mass, it's a concert!" Mardi Gras Indians regularly wander the neighborhood, as well as brass bands, musicians, and a pair of cowboys who are always walking their llamas, Shetland ponies, and goats. There is always something going on and the people in the neighborhood are friendly and talkative. You can learn just as much about New Orleans from the folks on the street in the Treme as you could with a tour guide charging you an arm and a leg to walk around the Quarter.
  • Es auf eine unfassbar tolle Unterkunft! Sauber, groß und die beiden Jungs sind unfassbar nett! Unbedingt buchen! Auch die Lage war perfekt! It is a wonderful place to stay! It's clean, we had a lot of space and the guys are awesome! We had a wonderful time! I recommend it: if you want to stay in New Orleans this Place is perfect for having the beste time! Great location - walking distance to the French Quarter, not too far from MSY. Brad had great recommendations for things to do around the city, and was very responsive and generous to any of our needs or asks. Would definitely recommend, and would love to visit again!

A Newly renovated room which shares a bathroom with our #2 Room, the room has a standard double bed as well as a small refrigerator, a Table & Chairs, and Central Air Conditioning among other amenities. A complimentary Breakfast including fresh brewed coffee, cereal, toast and fruit is also available to guests, as is free use of our Bicycles. NOLA STR permit# 18STR-06203
This listing is for our 3rd bedroom. It has a shared bathroom. See our other listings (#1 or #4 for a private en-suite and #2 charming attic room with shared bath). The room does use a shared bathroom, but as most of our guests are focused on exploring the town, this is rarely more than an inconvenience. If you would prefer a room with a private bathroom, we would like to recommend our other listings Creole Cottage in historic Treme #1 and #4. The Cottage started life as a two family home shortly before the American Civil war and has been added to a number of times over the years, unfortunately the specifics of its history are difficult to pin down (although we can make some educated guesses). I am an Architect by trade, and Jazz Trumpet player by preference (I work on the house during the day and play music at night) currently I am in the process of restoring the cottage to its original character (with a few modern amenities). My Wife Liz assists with the Day to Day running of a Vintage Clothing Boutique in the French Quarter (just a stones throw from Jackson Square) which she commutes to either on foot along the Tree lined Boulevard or by the use of her Single speed cruiser (This town is very Bike friendly). My Son Avery moved here from New Zealand to assist with the renovations, although he has a habit of debating some of the design decisions with me, he's something of a geek and good with electronics. For those times you need a little down time, feel free to make use of our spacious (private) back yard, or find a spot on one of the chairs in our living room. Liz and I have traveled extensively (usually on a shoestring) and have friends in a number of countries, we're always happy to recount the tales of our adventures, or to listen to yours. It's a 20 minute walk(15 minute power walk!) to the French Quarter under those gorgeous 200 year old Oaks, surrounded by gorgeous 200 year old houses, on the old streetcar line. We have three beautiful rescued cats. Miss Doris Day from the Bronx and a couple of locals, Brian Lion and Rocky Raccoon. Our latest rescue is Sgt Pepper a Border Collie.

  • We stayed with Liz and Rick our last 2 nights in New Orleans. They were very welcoming and laid back - the house was quirky and we loved the rescue cats and lush greenery! The neighbors were also pretty helpful. The bedroom was clean, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. There were storms the two night we stayed there and it was wonderful watching them through the long windows. Thanks for welcoming us into your space!

    Shannon2015-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Rick and Liz were fantastic hosts! We felt very comfortable and welcomed from the moment we arrived, and they were generous in answering our questions about New Orleans. We especially appreciated the breakfast that was laid out every morning and the use of the house bikes. We were able to bike all over the city on our last day. The energy in the house is laid-back, friendly and attentive, and we enjoyed the camaraderie of interacting with our hosts and the other guests. The bed was super comfortable, too! I would recommend Rick and Liz's classic New Orleans cottage to anyone seeking welcoming accommodations in New Orleans. This was one of our favorite trips.

    Kwang Peng2014-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • Rick and Liz were very welcoming hosts. The room was what I expected from the pictures. The house was very close to the French Quarter and Marigny. Their dog Pepper was so sweet and loved to just lay outside the bedroom door.

    Malorey2014-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • The room was decorated really nicely - gave it an awesome vibe. There's a mini fridge located in the room which was really handy. They have several bikes that you are free to use throughout your stay which I definitely recommend utilizing!! It turned an easy 20min walk into an even easier 8min ride each day! Rick and Liz were really friendly and made sure we felt at home! Great location, would highly recommend.

    Georgia2016-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect B&B! Super nice hosts. We stayed in room #3 and nights were really quiet despite the room being on the street and by the breakfast area: we slept like logs. The house is really pretty, clean and beautifully renovated. Toasts and muesli are included for breakfast, which is great to start the day! We loved staying in Treme, a very nice area at an easy walking distance from the French quarter (even in the Aug heat). We used the bikes and were very happy to experience more of the city in that way. New Orleans is awesome!

Our Mid-City private unit is 1 block off Canal St and the street car, walking distance to City Park and several other amazing local neighborhood bars and restaurants. A 5-10 minute drive to downtown & FQ or walk a block to the streetcar stop Some notable amenities-Full kitchen, central air/heat, WiFi, LCD television & Cable, Washer/dryer, full bath. Living amenities: Queen bed, futon, linens, towels & washcloths, pots/pans & dishes and basic necessities like toilet paper and paper towels.
Completely renovated half of a "shotgun double" (essentially a duplex for those not familiar with New Orleans), about 650 sq/ft. Our home was built in the early part of the 20th century (c. 1906). Through our renovation, we took extensive measures to maintain the historic nature of our home and fuse with modern conveniences.
Mid City is a great part of town to spend your time in New Orleans because it's roughly a 10 minute drive to just about any tourist attraction you might enjoy (e.g. in the French Quarter, CBD or Uptown). It's a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, and also has some of the best places to eat and visit for entertainment in the city. There's always street parking in front of or near our house if you bring your car, which is safe to leave and there is no cost for parking.
  • Staying in Mid-City is super convenient for taking the streetcars and getting around in NOLA. The apartment is very nice and easy to get to. We really enjoyed our stay here.

  • Glenn was an awesome host! Extremely helpful in all aspects - gave us multiple lists of places to check or for live music, food, etc., offered to pick things up from the grocery store for us, extremely flexible about check-in/check-out. Airbnb was in a great neigborhood with plenty of local spots to check out but also only a short uber ride to French quarter and other exciting scenes! Would definitely recommend Glenn's place!

  • Glenn and Claire were awesome hosts! They checked up on us often to make sure we had everything we needed and had plenty of info in the unit for things to do around town!! Their place was stylish, comfortable and extremely clean! It’s located in a residential area that offers peace and quiet if that’s what you’d like but it’s also only a short trolley ride away from downtown NOLA/French Quarter! Perfect for a getaway! There is also a great Mediterranean restaurant literally down the street that is amazing! Highly recommend! We would definitely consider staying here again when visiting New Orleans!

    Ninette2018-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Me and my wife visited NOLA and stayed at Glenn’s place for a week. It was in a prime location as it was only 20 mins away from the airport and a short 10 min Uber/Lyft ride to DT/French Qr. The place itself was perfect. Comfy bed and all the amenities to make it feel like home. Glen was super accommodating and made sure our stay so enjoyable. Would recommend this place to anyone who is wanting to visit.

    Blaine2018-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • This is a terrific place to stay. It is very roomy, open and comfortable with 2 wall mounted televisions, both with cable w/premium channels. The kitchen is as attractive as it is shown in the photos and is stocked with pots, pans, cookware, utensils and even a Keurig - everything you would need to fix a meal but who wants to cook (except maybe breakfast) when you are visiting New Orleans? The location is great. It is conveniently located in the city in a safe neighborhood. (There is construction on the closest exit from I-10 which is inconvenient but once that work is completed access to I-10 will be less then 5-7 minutes.) 2 large groceries are not 5 minutes away. The host, Glenn is very helpful and accommodating. He has a notebook containing lots of information on the city and many nearby restaurants. On street parking is just in front of the house which is also very convenient. We will stay with Glenn again on our next visit to NOLA if it is at all possible.

    Beth Wagner2017-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • This trip to new Orleans was fabulous! Glenn's place was very clean and very comfortable. Location is perfect between City Park and Canal street, we had access to everything by street car. Glenn has made his abnb top quality. Appliances, bed and fixtures are brand new. My grand daughter who lives in New Orleans spent one night with us on the fold down couch. Glenn was extremely accommodating. He contacted me by text once a day to make sure we had everything we needed. Grocery stores are close and we made breakfast daily in the kitchen. A local pizza and sandwich shop around the corner was also a great resource. We spent 4 nights there. He has a washer and dryer available in the house but we never ended up using it as he had plenty of clean linen available. Glenn was also safety conscious and had an alarm system available. We really didn't use the alarm. We felt safe there just locking the door Glenn's place made a great pit stop for my son on Thursday during his road trip from Kansas City to nola to pick up his daughter and then on to Florida. He was able to take a nap during the afternoon and shower while we took the grand kids to city park. I had checked with Glenn prior and he was ok with my family visiting while we were there. I am grateful for his very accessible and comfortable accommodations. I would highly recommend this abnb.

A beautiful oversized walk-in shower with multiple water heads and a private water closet with an eco-friendly toilet grace the sides of a unique wash basin and vanity. A mix of traditional and contemporary design make this the perfect suite for guests who wish to stay in a high-end accommodation, without the added costs and congestion of a downtown location.
One king bed and one twin daybed make this a great place to sleep, take an afternoon siesta or read for a while. Guests will enjoy access to the garden as well as the porch. A hired service such as Lyft will cost around $6-10 for a run to the French Quarter when it is not surging. Great restaurants and bars on Frenchman Street in The Marigny.
The 7th Ward of New Orleans is an historical area that reflects the full diversity of the city. Guests who do not appreciate diversity should not book this location. As well, guests who intend to spend the bulk of their time Uptown should not book this location, as it is about a 20 minute drive away. This location is better suited for mid-city, The Marigny, The Bywater, French Quarter, Lakeview, City Park, Jazz Fest (7 blocks away), Voodoo Fest, Fairgrounds (horse racing).
  • David’s place was perfect for our trip, he was extremely accommodating and went out of his way to make us feel welcomed. He had tons of great tips and suggestions of where to eat and visit. His place is a very inexpensive uber from the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. It was clean and safe. Would definitely recommend.

  • Work in progress, but great if you are prepared! It was noted that there are no curtains, but there are curtains on the main window. The door where you enter didnt have curtains on it, but luckily we brought a bedsheet and some binderclips and were just fine. If you are less shy than us, just avoid the door where you walk in if you dont want to be seen. Loved sitting on the porch outside. About $15 Uber ride to most places after tip, definitely reasonable. Super close to Willie Mae's Kitchen, dont forget to hit that place up, it was our favorite!

    Stephanie2018-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Buon alloggio.. Si è completamente autonomi, vicino ha un supermercato e diversi posti dove mangiare.

    Elisa2018-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • David is an amazing host. He was flexible and friendly throughout our stay whenever myself or my group needed anything. The place is as advertised and appears as though he is still renovating to make it even better in the future. The place is perfect for two and convenient location to go visit the sites. I would stay again if visiting the local area!

    Angela2018-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great space, love the style and fixtures, comfortable bed. Clean and quite. Good location for walking to jazz fest or french quarter. David was very quick to respond. Would definately stay again.

  • This was a great little get away place for visiting the city for the weekend! It was a wonderful place and not too far away from everything, it was perfect for what we needed! If you are looking for a place to stay while you’re exploring New Orleans I would definitely recommend this place!

    MaryAnn2018-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • David was so helpful during our stay, he was quick to respond to all messages and flexible in our check in/out times. The house is really cute and newly renovated, as the description mentions he’s still putting the finishing touches together but the place is fully functional. It’s a quick uber ride to everything (mid city/French quarter etc). The neighborhood is quiet and felt very safe. I recommend this bnb to a couple as there’s not a lot of privacy so you need to be comfortable with whomever you stay here with. Overall a great experience and would stay again.

    Taylor2018-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • this was a nice place to stay! we felt comfortable, safe, and isolated! would stay again.

  • We had an amazing experience with Devon. The house is even more wonderful than the pictures show. Devon was a great host too; he really made us feel at home. Anything and everything we could of possibly needed was provided. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to New Orleans!

    Rose2016-03-26T00:00:00Z
  • Devon's home is very clean and spacious and he is a friendly, helpful host. He offered us some good recommendations for local places to eat and things to do. The location is good in that it is close to the streetcar which takes you near the French Quarter but the area is a little run down and it isn't somewhere I would want to walk around at night. However it is under $10 for an uber into the French Quarter so this didn't affect our stay much at all.

    Richard2017-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Such a pleasure to stay at Devons place and meet him House is amazing .. spotless, well presented and very organised. Having access to all areas made it feel like a home Devon is an absolute host. Conscientious, looks after everyone and always a smile and a laugh Thank you for letting me to stay

  • Belle maison, bien situé. Devon est arrangent et disponible. Merci pour se passage à NOLA.

    Julien2016-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Devon 's home is a very beautiful experience. He makes you feel like you are home. The location is great and he will steer you to some great Cajun and Creole food. He is a great guy to sit and chat with.

  • great host nice place what can I say

    Phillip2018-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • Devon was fabulous, very communicative, and the house was wonderful- very clean, nice accommodations. The house is a little further away from downtown than I expected, and it was not really walking distance to public transit, but Uber worked out well. As a single traveler, I would not walk in the area, but I felt very safe at Devon's.

Cute, cozy, and conveniently located--a great home base for anyone in town for business or for pleasure! Close to the French Quarter, Downtown, and Uptown. Just 4 blocks from the beginning of the scenic Carrollton/St. Charles streetcar line, which takes you directly to the French Quarter (it's about a 45 minute ride, but a must-do if you have time for a leisurely stroll down the historic, oak-lined streets of New Orleans!)
It is a 400 sqft apartment well-suited for an individual, a couple, or a group of light travelers. The bedroom has 1 king bed. The bathroom includes a glass-walled stand-in shower. The living room has a bunk bed with a twin up top and a futon/double on the bottom. The kitchen has slate floors, granite counter tops, and stainless steel appliances: dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove/oven, and coffee maker.
This apartment is centrally located in New Orleans, no more than 15 minutes from anywhere you'd want to be: French Quarter, Convention Center, Fairgrounds, Uptown, Downtown, Tulane University, City Park, Audubon Park, Garden District, Lakefront, The Fly, Warehouse District, the Marigny, etc. It is a 2 block walk to the famous Ye Olde College Inn restaurant and Rock'N'Bowl Lanes, with bowling 7 days a week and live music every Wednesday-Saturday. Just 4 blocks from the beginning of the scenic Carrollton/St. Charles streetcar line, which takes you directly to the French Quarter (it's about a 45 minute ride, but a must-do if you have time for a leisurely stroll down the historic, oak-lined streets of New Orleans!). 15 blocks from Oak Street, which features the Maple Leaf Bar, Jacque-Imo's, and other restaurants and night life. 10 minutes to downtown.
  • Great host! Place is very clean and also provided an iron and ironing board!

    Brandon2016-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was clean and very convenient for everything we wanted to do during our stay. Andrew and his brother were wonderful, accommodating hosts that were always available if we had questions or needed anything. Would definitely stay here again.

    Lauren2016-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Very easy to find, only a 10 minute drive to anywhere in the city. We were a mile down the road from a street car stop (canal). One bl9ck away from a bus stop. The apartment was perfect for us! Had a fridge, dishes, they were so nice! We were even provided with snacks and drinks! We will definitely be staying here againa

    Megan2017-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew is a good host. The house is neat and clean, it has everything you need. It will be better if there is a door separate the bedroom and living room.

    Xiang2016-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect size for travelers who plan to spend most of their time exploring the city.

    Olivia2017-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • I booked for a friend of mine visiting town. Although I never met Andrew in person, all communication was smooth and efficient. My guest enjoyed the visit and the accommodations.

    Stephanie2016-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • What can I say. Andrew was awesome and his place was perfect. The unit was its own enclosed space with private entrance, everything we needed, great wifi, multiple comfortable beds, convertible futon, clean linens, nice tv, bose sound system for music, Xbox, nice shower, even had a few beverages, snacks and toiletries waiting. This guy was really down to earth and was super accommodating, even with our last minute request. location was fabulous, good for uptown, midcity and short downtown access. Definitely will be hitting him up again when I need a place to "get away". Stay here.

    Gian & Brenda2016-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay here. Great location and has everything you would need. Lots of street parking in a very cute neighborhood. Andrew was very responsive and easy to work with

Semi-private room* in a cute and cozy shotgun house in the Marigny. 15 minute walk to the French Quarter, 12 minutes to Frenchmen St., 2 minutes to the Bywater. Located around the corner from a few restaurants, bars, a coffee shop, and grocery store. *Note, this room is yours and yours alone, but people have to walk through it to get to their room.
The house is a classic shotgun, a very common style of architecture for homes here in New Orleans. Our bedroom is the first room in the house, and we rent the next three rooms to guests (see our profile for links to the other rooms). Each room is arranged one behind the other. You will be walking through two bedrooms to get to your room, and while you'll have your room to yourself, people will have to walk past your room to access the kitchen, other bedrooms, backyard, and bathroom. Both doorways have doors which you can close for more privacy. Please look through our photos to see the "blueprints" of our house, this will give you an idea to how it's laid out. Your room is the third room in the house. It comes furnished with a built in bed, curtain for privacy, XL twin mattress, reading lamp, a chair, vanity with a large mirror, clean sheets, fresh blankets, four pillows, a towel, and a white noise machine to cancel out house noises. The room accommodates one comfortably.
Our location is probably our greatest feature. Our house is centrally located in the Marigny. Frenchmen St. jazz and music clubs are only six blocks away, the French Quarter is a ten minute, nine-block walk away in one direction, and the Bywater (neighborhood) is just over the train tracks, two blocks in the other direction. We are one block from Mardi Gras Zone, a 24 hour organic grocery store (now with an alcohol license!), and three blocks from Hank's, a 24 hour convenience store (where you can stock up on alcohol and fried chicken). Flora's Coffee shop is two blocks away. There are eight bars (ranging from fancy cocktail bars to dive bars) within a three block radius.
  • Katie is amazing and very gracious. The space is exactly how it is described and her other roommate Arthur is awesome as well. I highly recommend anyone passing through NOLA to stay here. Thumbs up!

    Rob2013-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place to stay! It may be a bit of a walk (20 minutes) to the French Quarter, but you get to see a lot of nice places in between. Super fast Internet, clean house, and new washer and dryer (in other words they work!) highly recommend!

    Simon2014-06-06T00:00:00Z
  • Katie and Matthijs were away during my visit so I had Kevin as my host and really enjoyed my stay. He made sure I had everything I needed, was fun to chat with, and did a great job of maintaining the Airbnb. The room is really simple, but clean and comfortable and makes a great home base for exploring the city. It was a quick walk to the French Quarter, but the Marigny also has a few great restaurants to check out if you feel like eating closer to home (I recommend The Franklin, Oxalis, and Satsuma). Yes, the rooms lack privacy since other guests need to pass through to get from one end of the house to the other, but I didn't have any issues with this. Overall, it was a great experience, an amazing price, and I'd recommend their place to anyone interested in visiting.

    Caitlin2014-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • I reserved last minute and they responded immediately. Very affordable price and they provide you with everything you need. Clean space with wood floors. Friendly folks that respect your space but are available and accessible when you need them. They do have a dog but they dog also respects your space. I wasn't there to really explore New Orleans bit if I wanted to, I was in the ideal location to do it. Parking is not reserved and I feared finding a spot because I know parking is crazy in New Orleans, but on a Thursday night there am were a few spots open one block down.

    Osarumen2014-11-08T00:00:00Z
  • Katie and Matthijs were both such great hosts! They made sure that I had an excellent stay at their place going so far as to text me to give me recommendations as to what I could do in New Orleans. They were very understanding that I needed a late check in (after midnight). I had a wonderful stay; my only regret is that I didn't get to stay for breakfast!

    Robert2017-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay - I was sadly only in New Orleans for 2 nights so didn't spend much time in the house; but the room was great and very clean. Great location about 10 minutes walk from Frenchman street, friendly hosts. Highly recommended

    Peter2015-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Katie and Maathjis' home is adorable, clean, and comfy, in a fantastic neighborhood outside the more touristy parts of NOLA. Sleeping in a shotgun-style room wasn't weird for me, and sharing a bathroom was never a problem. Katie and Maathjis were super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended. Oh! And! Go to Mimi's in the Marigny, a dynamite local restaurant and bar, if you stay here.

    Laura2014-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • The hosts were very nice and friendly. And the room is just how was described. It's a good budget option. There is no door (as described) and there is one bathroom that everyone uses which is in this room. I went to bed earlier then everyone else since i had an early flight so they were coming in and out of the room (to get ready for bed) while I was sleeping but I'm a heavy sleeper so I didn't really notice- but a lighter sleeper might care. If you want to hang out in the French quarters though- I may just get a room closer because even though it's not too far (5-10 mins walking) as described- most everyone suggests not walking in NOLA at night esp by yourself as a girl. I'm not sure about what they charge locals but both my cab rides to the french quarters and back were $10 each... in hindsight I might have just gotten a room in the french quarters for the $20 more... BUT this wasn't the hosts fault... I didn't really know NOLA very well and they did a good and accurate job describing their place, I just didn't know the geography (and that 5/10 mins isn't actually walkable at night). I think the area their apartment is also suppose to be really cool but I didn't get a chance to explore it. Overall it was a great place and a great deal.

  • My son and me had a wonderful time in New Orleans. We enjoyed staying at this cute little guesthouse. It has everything you need and Leonor makes sure you feel comfortable. My loggage got lost at the airport and they brought it to the house in the middle of the night. Leonor opened the door and made sure I would get my suitcases right away. Thank you for your great hospitality!

  • Great value and a great place to stay! Very clean and very great with communication. We were very lucky as our plane landed early and were able to check in before the check-in time. Pretty close to all of the touristy spots by car. An Uber to Bourbon Street and Frenchmen Street costs only about $12. Very conveniently located.

    Ashley2018-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • The space is just as described, and the hostess went above and beyond to accommodate at all times. I will definitely come back.

  • Had a great stay at Brandon’s, his Mercedes rv which we paid to also use was awesome very clean and fun! Amazing value I think it’s time Airbnb gives Brandon a super host title. :)

    Ariel2018-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • The place was a great location. Nice parking and patio area to hang outside. The room was clean. However, the room is so hot and the a/c unit only provided respite if you sat right in front of it. We would go out during the hottest part of the day because it was reading 85 in the room.

    Rachel2018-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • Nice small place in New Orleans. There are bikes to rent which I would recommend. The neighborhood is very nice but a bit of a walk to downtown. We enjoyed our stay though!!!

  • The Reeves place is cozy, clean, and comfortable. It’s in a great location and there were many restaurant options at a walking distance. It’s also in a quiet area, which means you get good rest, after a day of exploring Nola. Honestly, the apartment looks even better than the pictures! The Reeves were accommodating and so easy to communicate with. They definitely made our stay (as newlyweds) very personalized and memorable!

    Orline2018-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • Reeve’s place was beyond awesome. This was our first time visiting NOLA where we stayed at Reeve’s place for a few days and stayed at hotel(because of a wedding) the remainder. I wished we could have stayed at Reeve’s place the entire time! The space is great. The distance to French Quarter and Bourbon was a short Lyft ride away. Grace was an amazing host! Loved everything about our first experience with Air B&B and in NOLA. This place was a big part of why I loved the trip so much!

    Linda2018-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fantastic apartment in a convenient location. Everything is new, clean and comfortable! The sheets and towels were sooo soft and we didn't hear any outside noise at all. We enjoyed walking to restaurants and shops on Magazine Street and getting an Uber around town was quick and cheap. The hosts are incredibly friendly and accommodating and they really go above and beyond with their customer service and little touches to ensure you have a comfortable stay. This is a great deal, definitely book it!

    Kristin2018-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful apartment that captures the NOLA vibe in an elegant way. Loved the record player, comfy bed and pillows, and central AC. It was close to an awesome breakfast place and coffee shop with only a short walk to the streetcar line. Would definitely stay here again!

    Jane2018-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • I mainly interacted with Grace. She was very responsive and helpful! Very cool place. Great location. Would stay there again.

    Steve2018-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Grace’s house is one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed at. They go out of their way to keep their guests comfortable. Everything was smooth. Highly recommended!!

    Shilpa2018-04-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place made us feel like we were at home. The space was beautiful and the hospitality was incredible. The neighborhood was secluded enough where you felt very safe. But close enough to walk (or bus) to find something fun to do! I would definitely stay here next time I am in New Orleans! Grace and Reeves are more than perfect hosts!

    Jacob2018-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Nice and comfortable stay at Reeves and Grace’s apartment. The street is nice a quiet but still a great location for traveling to New Orleans. They provided a wonderful array of snacks and coffee to help fuel adventures during our visit. Very helpful and friendly hosts who were quick to respond to questions, very accommodating and provided great recommendations on getting around town and local favorites to check out too! Highly recommend for any trip to New Orleans

  • Exactly as described. Cute little studio, off street parking, close to the street car and bus. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants close by. Quiet part of town. I was very happy with the location and price.

  • September's place was just perfect. It was exactly as described. The bed was very comfortable.

    Jennifer2016-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, bright, and cozy: the perfect location for a conference at Tulane and exploring the city. There's also an amazing bakery just across the road that opens at 7am and offers vegan breakfasts.

  • If you want an authentic and safe New Orleans experience, look no further than this AirBnB. It’s cute, well decorated, cosy, comfortable bed, wifi, clean and well-appointed bathroom, perfect little kitchen, and a beautiful, private porch area to sit outside. Keyless entry makes access very easy. Shops and restaurants on Oak Street and nearby are very walkable. Magazine Street and French Quarter are just an Uber or streetcar away (or even long walk). This studio apartment is a great value for the price. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends and family. Thanks!

    Alfred2017-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second stay at September’s place and I have zero complaints. It’s cute, cozy, and clean.

    Kodie2018-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location! The place was just as described and expected. Very convenient, and clean. The stay was perfect.

  • We had a very awesome stay in September’s studio. I’ll look for her place every time we travel to NOLA.

    Sylvester2018-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • This place was amazing and September was even better! After holding the unit for me for 48 hours to ensure plans were a go, we arrived with no problem at all! The place is gorgeous and we found it very easy to find the things we needed. Washing and dryer, hot plate for quick breakfast or lunch, down to filled ice trays. My friend and I averaged 33 miles walking in between three days, so we definitely walked the neighborhood. We made sure to be inside or take Uber/Lyft after the sun went to down just in case. The streetcar is only four blocks off Carrollton- and Cowbell is DELICIOUS! We went our first night, and I think it really set the ton for our trip. We met two other tenants who were above us, and literally never heard them. You can hear the footsteps of the other tenant, but they are never too much or last more than five seconds. Overall, we loved the place and the city. Definitely will be staying again!

Private guest suite in a beautiful, historic, and newly renovated home. This charming suite comes with a sitting area, kitchenette, dining/working table, private bath, and bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed. This is not a shared space. Have a peaceful retreat in Holy Cross, a quiet neighborhood located just 15 minutes from the French Quarter by car. We're four blocks away from the Mississippi River and the best sunset views in the city!
The guest suite is a bright and cheery place, full of natural light and located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. It's the ideal place to have a little retreat, or to relax and recharge before a night out on the town. The suite is located at the front of the house with a private entrance (the front door), so you can come and go as you please. You will share a wall with my living area, but you will not have access to my portion of the house, and vice versa. Feel free to help yourself to anything in the suite! This includes coffee, tea, and oatmeal. Some bottled water is provided, but water from the bathroom sink is also safe to drink. There is plenty of storage space for your things, including a closet in the bedroom with hangers, two nightstands with empty drawers, and a medicine cabinet and vanity in the bathroom. The bedroom has a full-length mirror behind the door so you can make sure that your outfit is on point before leaving the house, and there are earplugs and a white noise machine for restless sleepers (though all you're likely to hear is the occasional car going by, we live on a very quiet street).
Holy Cross is a beautiful, peaceful, and historic neighborhood located in the Lower 9th Ward. It's only a 10 to 15 minute drive from the French Quarter, and 20 to 30 minutes from the Garden District. This neighborhood strikes a balance between the feeling of country and city. Many locals live if here because they want a quieter experience of the city. The levee that overlooks the Mississippi River is just four blocks away. You can walk or run the levee for a few miles in either direction and enjoy beautiful views of downtown New Orleans, passing cargo ships and steamboats. It's really something else. Holy Cross is located in the Lower Ninth Ward, which is one of the areas that was most effected by Katrina. As a result, the neighborhood is still being rebuilt. Like many places in New Orleans, you will see newly renovated homes sitting side-by-side with abandoned buildings. This doesn't reflect on the character of the neighborhood, or the awesome people who live in it!
  • Overall this was a great deal. The guest suite was clean and beautiful. While booking I wasn’t aware of the type of neighborhood it was in and according to many locals, the area we were in wasn’t exactly the safest. Since it was unsafe to walk at night we ended up having to spend a lot on Lyft/Uber instead of taking public transportation like we intended, but the popular tourist areas weren’t far. I’d definitely suggest staying here if you’re looking for something affordable!

  • I've stayed in this air bnb a couple of times now, and it does not disappoint! The rooms are always spotless, and it's not a far drive from downtown NOLA.

  • Lovely place. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Enjoyed the stay.

  • Lauren provided a stylish, clean & concurrent stay. Would book again in a heartbeat.

  • I just would like to say thank you lauren for offering your beautiful home to me. She was very Helpful for our stay and her home is beautiful.

    Ralph2017-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at Lauren’s. The apartment is very sunny, with a nice bathroom and hardwood floors. The street is not high-traffic, and we had no issues finding the house or parking our car. All the sunny windows did seem to warm the apartment up quite a bit, but the powerful ceiling fans help a lot! We would certainly stay here again.

    Kate2018-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • Lauren's place was beautiful, very clean, and overall an adorable space that was great for my wife and I! We got to meet her pup, he was adorable! Lauren had great recommendations for sightseeing and experience. Overall an amazing stay!

Come relax in a large master bedroom with your own private bath. Enjoy garage parking, a pool, and a swanky bar area in the home. Quiet & safe neighborhood away from the hub, yet is only a fifteen minute drive to the main city. $10-$12 Uber to the French Quarter. FYI: the city’s public transportation is mediocre. License Number: 17STR-21936
Enjoy your own huge private master bedroom and bathroom. Shared space for the kitchen, den/bar area, pool, and laundry room, all of which you are welcome to use!
The house is just outside the heart of the city, but there are great historic old bars nearby. Theres a great New Orleans restaurant DiMartinos, a Winn Dixie, and a bus stop that goes into the city within walking distance. There's also a mediocre Mexican restaurant within walking distance, big portions and decent food. Also $2.99 margaritas during happy hour woo woo!!
  • Great Hostess. Clean, friendly and comfortable setting. Julie was a rockstar hostess. She made us feel right at home and the room was private and comfortable. We WILL stay again on our next trip.

    Cass2017-05-06T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at Julie's! The room was much larger than expected, had a private bath and private entry. We were also pleasantly surprised at the location and convenience of her home; minutes from downtown, but far enough away you were out of the city. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Julie checked on us during our stay and was an overall amazing host. We highly recommend her!

    Brittney2018-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was super. Big room/house with all you need. Julie was very helpfull. Big recommendation.

    Suzana2018-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • Clean and comfortable home, and an amazing host. You can't go wrong with this one.

    Angel2016-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Julie is super communicative if you have questions. She also provided listings of suggestions for activities. Her place is walking distance to a very few stores and is located on the public transit line (although we did not utilize it).

    Jessica2017-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Our short one night stay at Julie's was great! Couldn't have asked for more... quiet, own room/bathroom, wifi, a sweet common area with a bar :), garage, pool, nice neighborhood, and so on. More than willing to go out of her way to accommodate us. I'd stay there again!

    Devin2017-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • The room was very pleasant and comfortable. Julie was fantastic and very welcoming. It us a little distance from the French Quarter but we used the close by ferry and opted for the public transport in town. It was not only very inexpensive but also recommended due to traffic and difficulty of parking in the French Quarter

    Dawn2017-05-08T00:00:00Z
  • The pool is a wonderful surprise and addition to the whole package you get. The master bedroom is massive and so comfy and cozy. And has immediate access to the pool. The whole place was super clean and we felt at home. Julie was so cool to come pick us up and drive us around a few times. That's southern hospitality for ya. She's an angel in disguise. You won't regret staying here. The ferry rides every night and morning wee a good way to start and end the day. You just need to call an Uber or taxi to get home quickly. Super safe neighborhood. Bus is right next to her house. It's a 40 min ride to the ferry though. Love it. Will be back.

New Orleans is a walkable city and we also have the Street Car service which runs from Canal Street to Uptown/Garden District from the Quarter.
The Marigny is an eclectic, safe and bohemian neighborhood within walking distance of the French Quarter. A lot of artists, musicians, and performers in town live in the area and help to maintain a charm that is uniquely New Orleans.
  • Sehr nett, sauber und freundlich. Gute Lage, French Quarter zu Fuß schnell erreichbar. Sehr zu empfehlen!

    Jo2018-04-11T00:00:00Z

    Cornelia2017-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • Es hat alles super gepasst! Aufenthalt was toll! Nahe am French Quater aber sehr ruhige Nachbarschaft! Wir haben nur Lindsey getroffen, sie war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Ich würde wirklich jedem den Aufenthalt hier weiterempfehlen

    Michelle2018-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • Nick and Lindsay made our first Airbnb experience an incredible one! Their home was as quirky, unique, and cool as our hosts were! We felt very comfortable and welcome right when we set foot in the door of their charming home. They were extremely accommodating and helpful, giving us everything from restaurant and activity recommendations, to a ride to and from the airport! We felt very safe and secure in their home, which was in a great neighborhood, easy to navigate, and just a short walk from Frenchman Street (my favorite!), the French Quarter, and all the bars and restaurants in the Marigny/Bywater area. We even got to see one of Nick's shows, which was highly entertaining and unforgettable! We had a fantastic time on our first trip to New Orleans, and Nick and Lindsay's hospitality and home were definitely a big part of that! Amazing hosts, amazing location, amazing trip!!

    Amanda2015-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • The house was adorable, quite clean, the room was wonderfully private with its own bathroom, and our hosts were extremely kind and accommodating when our check-in time wavered. The door was equipped with a great key code lock that made it easy to come and go as we pleased without worrying about a key. Nick also gave us a recommendation for a restaurant that we ended up loving!

    Allison2016-03-26T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed staying here a lot! The location was ideal and the house was cool. Nick was helpful and nice! The sofa bed wasn't the world's most comfortable, but it did the job. We'd recommend the place for sure!

    Leah2015-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • This was an amazing bang for your buck! Great location, super cozy, and eady to walk around. We loved it

    Ali2018-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Nick and Lindsay are great people. They were very great hosts and gave us tips to get around New Orleans. The room was nice, spacious, and had A/C, which was crucial during August. It was walkable to the French Quarters, and far enough away that it was nice and quiet. We were able to find delicious food and the St. Roch Market right up the street. The shower in the bathroom is hard to use without the bathroom floor getting all wet, so I would recommend asking about it before using it. Other than that, an awesome and affordable place to stay in New Orleans!

Magazine street is just six blocks away and offers lots of shopping and dining options.
Danke!

  • Don and Leda are wonderful. They were very understanding after I had to cancel after the cancellation policy date due to hurricane Harvey. Maybe next time we'll be able to stay there!

  • I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking to enjoy themselves in New Orleans this place was very clean and close to everything and Don was a very great host. Me and my wife both was very pleased with this property and really had a great time we give it a 5 STAR ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  • My husband, kids and I stayed here for a few nights as part of a road trip. Don’s place was perfect for us! In a quiet residential area but very close to the street car. Don was great providing local information and quick to answer our questions. Would definitely stay here again!

  • This apartment is wonderful. The location, in the Garden District, meant that we could walk to restaurants and shops within a few blocks. WWe could walk to major museums and to Canal Street/French Quarter in about 15 - 20 minutes. The apartment is spacious, well-laid out, and convenient. Lauren provided great tips on local restaurants and amenities. In all, we had a great stay.

  • Great apartment for visiting New Orleans! Walkable to the french quarters and basically on Magazine street so also very close to many restaurants and shops on Magazine street. Apartment was very nice and clean and spacious. Our only complaint would be the bed as it was extremely soft. There is a projector instead of a main tv in the living room and that was awesome! Thank you again, we had a great time!

    Alyson2017-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you for a great warm place. It was a wonderful place to stay and helped me enjoy bring in NOLA for the first time. It was a quiet stay away from the conference crowds. Thank you for everything especially for accommodating my late departure. Catherine

  • Loved staying at the Sweet White Bungalow. Great location in the Garden District on Magazine Street close to shops, restaurants, and the French Quarter. The bedding was very comfortable, the projection screen tv was great, and it was nice having a dedicated parking spot right behind the house. Would definitely stay again.

    Katharine2016-03-26T00:00:00Z
  • The location was just as described and in a great spot for us as we needed to be near the conference center. Lots of great eating spots nearby. Wifi was a bit slow at times but otherwise everything was great.

    Joe2017-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place is wonderful! We really enjoyed our stay here & loved how close it was to Magazine!! Everything was very nice & clean & we felt very comfortable!

    Caroline2016-12-13T00:00:00Z
  • The Airbnb was very nice and looks exactly as pictured. The bed is comfortable, there were plenty of towels, and the location is great. There was minor miscommunication about dropping our bags off early where I was unsure about entering the Airbnb before check in time so I attempted to call Lauren but was texted a response to "check my itinerary". I found the response unproductive but things worked out in the end. I would recommended staying here for anyone looking for a nice place in New Orleans.

    Kaitlin2016-12-19T00:00:00Z
  • Lauren Jame's bungalow was an ideal location! Just around the corner from boutique shops on Magazine Street, and a quick trolley ride or $6 Uber to French Quarter. Parking is easily available, and our party of three thoroughly enjoyed the place It was incredibly clean and spacious. There's even a cute directory of things to do and places to eat that they left for us! Would definitely recommend.
