  • Wir haben ein E-Mail bekommen vom Gastgeber mit der Anweisung wie wir in das Apartment gelangen. Unseren Gastgeber haben wir später eher per Zufall getroffen.

  • Sehr angenehme und schöne Unterkunft. Ruhig gelegen. Sympathische, zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Alles klappte problemlos.

  • April and Ken are awesome host! Their place was perfect. We cruised on our bikes all over the French quarter. We were very cozy and felt right at home. We will be back soon! Nola is the best place on earth❤️

  • Lovely unit that accurately matched photos on web. It was clean and well supplied with equipment. It was great to have a washer & dryer. It was really secure with coded gate and had ample parking. Walking distance to French Quarter. Ken and April were were welcoming and accommodating. Thanks for the tip- we loved Buffas

  • Great place to visit New Orleans for couples or singles, work or fun. I loved this cottage for many reasons. I slept very well because it is very quiet at night and the mattress is comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and high quality. Wholefoods is 6 minutes away by car. The location is excellent, the street is gorgeous and a stunning park and the French quarter and an awesome gym (NOLA Athletic Club) are 20 minutes by walk away. The hosts are prompt and friendly. They also give excellent suggestions on places to eat. Could not have been better.

  • This little house was wonderful to stay in. It has everything you'll ever need and more. For about the same price as a hotel, you can have a personal place right near the french quarter. On arrival, we received a list of restaurants, taxi services, and bars that our hosts recommended. Also a tasty bottle of wine! Walking to the french quarter takes about 20 minutes and once you're there, prepare to keep walking all night. New Orleans is a colorful, vibrant city and this house is right in the middle of it, or at least that's what it feels like. Definitely worth it! I would definitely visit again! P.S. There's a banksy graffiti painting about halfway from the house to the quarter.

  • April and Ken's place was pretty perfect. Very cozy, plenty of space for the two of us. It felt private and was very comfortable. They left information about places to visit and getting around - all very helpful. Location was also great. Walking distance to several great food + drink options or a cheap taxi to any part of the city. We were in town for a wedding and were the only ones not staying at a hotel. We definitely felt like we made the right choice - we could come back to the place and take a dip in the pool or take the bikes out. I would recommend staying here to anyone!

  • We had a lovely stay at April and Ken's guest house. We walked home from the French quarter the first night, which was about 30 minutes. The place was nice and clean and we really appreciated the list of recommendations that they left us (that crawfish beignet WAS phenomenal!). Communication was consistent and we felt very taken care of. Our first AirBNB experience was wonderful thanks to them.

This beautiful home is in a perfect location to explore the City of New Orleans. It is a hidden gem within walking distance of Frenchmen Street, the best local cafes, bars and restaurants (L'il Dizzy's, Port of Call, Cafe Du Monde), and only 2 blocks from the French Quarters. The home is perfect for those who want to be near it all yet still have an authentic New Orleans experience that is usually only available to locals.
This is a true New Orleans home...you'll enjoy all of the traditional details, like the fireplace and exposed brick.
This neighborhood is alive. It's energy is quintessential New Orleans. You won't find a bad meal or a weak drink. The locals are always friendly and quick to start a conversation.
  • Cute clean place to stay, I would say only for two people comfortably. Great location, easy to reach for any recommendations or help (did not need any help.) close enough to walk everywhere but just outside of all the craziness!

    April2017-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful house, very clean and stocked with condiments in the fridge. We read other reviews that said the pull-out couch wasn't all that comfortable so we brought a big blowup mattress which worked fine. I highly recommend this place for those who want a pleasant stay within walking distance of the party but not in the middle of it.

  • Mark's place is incredible! Great location and just as big, if not bigger than it looks in the pictures. Super clean and cozy place. He even had some light jazz playing for us upon entry!

    Shane2017-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • My host was super accommodating and helpful. They left guides for touristic purposes and the apartment was very clean. I would definitely recommend them.

    Berke2016-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, great location, minutes to grocery stores shopping and Bourbon street. Mark was a great host and we recommend this place to everyone!

    Ginette2017-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • The house was beautifully restores and had lots of character. It was far enough from the French quarter to feel secluded but close enough to walk. Mark gave alot of information on what there was to do in the area. He was out of town when we visited but made arrangements for us in case we needed anything. The only cons are that the walls are pretty thin and you can hear alot of outside noise. Also the street parking is very convenient but be sure that you park far enough from any curbs so you don't get towed.

    Crysta2017-06-19T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved this house, perfect location and so clean and spacious!

    Josie2017-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Mark’s home was amazing. Wanted a quick getaway and I have to say that I could not have picked a better place. The neighborhood was fabulous. The house was one block outside of the French Quarter, so it was close enough to the Quarter, but far enough away from the noise. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want to be close the French Quarter and still have a New Orleans neighborhood feel.

Guest area features private bedroom and bath with its own private entrance. Only 2 miles from the French Quarter by streetcar. Enjoy complete privacy in the guest space or visit with the hosts as you desire. Additional bedroom is available for groups traveling together or families traveling with children. Please discuss your group's needs with the host. New Orleans license number is 17STR-06526.
Private bedroom and bath in our charming shotgun house just off the Canal Streetcar line only 2 miles from the French Quarter. Guest area features private entrance, lovely patio, beautiful antique furnishings, 11-foot ceilings, petite chandelier, comfortable and clean queen bed, and cozy guest robes. Internet, cable TV, parking, oscillating fan, iron, music player, white noise machine, hairdryer, fridge, coffeepot, crockpot, and snacks are provided. The space has a peaceful, airy feel and is flooded with natural light. This listing is unique in that you have complete privacy from the main house. The guest space has its own exterior door, and you are free to come and go as you please. The garden path leading to your room features motion-activated lighting if you are returning after dark. The room is located down the garden path in the rear of the house. A second bedroom is available for groups, so the space can be made to accommodate 1-4 people. We welcome special requests and will make every effort to assist with needed recommendations. We can also provide a travel crib and other baby items if you wish to travel with your childen. We love hosting guests for honeymoons, anniversaries, and other special events. Our home is located in the historic Mid-City neighborhood, which was one of the first neighborhoods to spring back after extensive flooding due to Hurricane Katrina. Mid-City is located, as the name indicates, in the middle of New Orleans on what was once the backslope of the Mississippi River natural levee. Our home was built around 1910 and is a typical New Orleans-style shotgun house. In New Orleans at the time of construction, the shotgun house utilized a minimized lot frontage, on which taxes were based. The houses were also built without hallways and closets, which would have been counted as rooms for tax purposes. The origin of the building style and the name itself may trace back to Haitian influences on New Orleans, as many Afro-Haitian slaves lived in this area. Our house was recently featured on the HBO series "Treme", as the law office of the character Toni Bernette (played by Melissa Leo) and also as part of the interior of the home of Creighton Bernette (played by John Goodman). Guests are free to have complete privacy or to meet with the host as desired to obtain recommendations for food, drink, and attractions. Check-in is offered via a lockbox. Rates may vary during special events and holidays. Our home is located just off the parade route for Endymion, the largest parade of Mardi Gras. The festival grounds for Jazz Fest are just over 1 mile away.
Mid-City is a diverse neighborhood with its own distinctive flavor. Bars and restaurants in this area are largely patronized by locals, so the neighborhood provides an escape from the more touristy areas of the city, while still allowing easy access to the French Quarter via the Canal Streetcar Line.

  • Erin was a fabulous host, very personable. The shotgun house was very clean. Simple elegance is the best way to describe our room. She had some nice touches (chocolate, snacks, beverages, great bath products). Being our first time with airbnb, we thought the area was pleasant, easy access to streetcar (2 blocks) which makes it easy to the French Quarter. Staying at Erin's definitely gives you a good feel of being part of the culture of New Orleans.

    Kevin2013-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • The place was just as described and pictured. Very clean and all soap/etc were readily available. We didn't get greeted in person by the host, but that's ok! It was very private and we liked that. At times we heard the family but, it didn't bother us much. She even stated in the guide book if we were ever bothered to let her know. Our dogs were welcomed there which was great! They had a blast. The location is super convenient, only minutes away from a street car that can take you to Bourbon! I loved the ambiance and vibe of the outdoor patio and room. It was very vintage chic. Would definitely recommend to someone that doesn't want to stay in a hotel or needs somewhere that is pet friendly!

  • Erin has the most beautiful shotgun house in New Orleans. It is perfect in every way. From her greeting and communication to her making sure we have everything we need. It truly was a magical experience and we will definitely stay with her next time around.

  • THE place to stay while visiting New Orleans. My very first Air BnB experience - Erin set the bar very high! Perfect location, very private and very clean. I felt at home when I walked in and was greeted with two bathrobes, a coffee pot, TV, WIFI, & a clean, well stocked bathroom. Within walking distance of the street car. Highly recommend this beautiful shotgun home :)

    Jacqueline2017-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • Very good! When we got there Erin's partner was outside and was very friendly. He offered suggestions about food and transportation. The room was very nice, stylish and clean. You could tell effort was put into presentation. The bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet. Very pleased!

  • My partner and I had a wonderful stay in Nola at Erin's home. Her hospitality and wonderful recommendations added much to our getaway. The room was extremely comfortable and the private entrance is a wonderful touch. If we come back I would stay here again.

    Brittany2013-03-27T00:00:00Z
  • We loved Erin's little house. She and her husband are very helpful and quite nice. The house has a good location, you can just ride the streetcar down to the French Quarter and up to the Park. We definitely recommend, very clean, and very helpful hosts! Although the outside space was VERY buggy and I do not recommend trying to sit out there unless you don't mind them.

  • We give Matt’s place an A+++! It was truly a wonderful stay. The studio looks exactly like the pictures shown on the listing and the location could not have been better. He was there to greet us as we arrived and had great amenities included in the studio like local beer and snacks! From the studio, it is an easy stroll to the St. Charles streetcar and something that I highly recommend doing while you are there. It is a breezy tour of the city and you have the luxury of jumping on and off as many times as you please. If you are pressed for time, Uber is also readily available and about a 10-15 minute drive from the studio to the French Quarter. I would gladly stay here again for our next trip to NOLA and would recommend that you do too!

  • Super easy check in. We met Matthew as we were checking in! He was a great host, very accommodating. The place was clean and comfortable. Quick ride to French Quarter. VERY nice soft fluffy towels, snacks, coffee water, etc was out for us so very nice touch.

  • Matthew was so wonderful and helpful! The studio was absolutely beautiful- full of gorgeous artwork and very well designed. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the Belfast Studio to anyone visiting New Orleans.

  • Great experience here at matts place. Felt (Email hidden by Airbnb) fortable :) very clean and a great location. Thank you Matt for the hospitality I recommend everyone to check it out

  • This has become our new go-to place in NOLA and by far, the best airbnb/ (Hidden by Airbnb) experience I have ever had. After being cancelled due to maintenance by another airbnb host, I came across this listing and was able to secure. The pictures do not do this place justice. We loved the bead art and other pieces of art they used. The neighborhood is beautiful, with lots of places to eat close by and a quick drive or streetcar ride to anywhere in the city. Matthew and K have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable, with any amenity you could think of: Shampoo/conditioner, laundry products, pots, pans, towels, umbrella, great linens, comfy bed, a couple of Ibita's, washer/dryer, etc.... We unwittingly unplugged the wireless router and Matt immeidately go on it to help us figure out the error of our ways. There is a private entrance with a porch and off street parking is provided. The day we knew we were meant to stay here was the afternoon that we found a lost dog wandering in the pouring down rain. After 20 minutes and making several attempts to get the dog, we finally lost sight of it, gave up and drove back to the studio. Upon turning in the driveway, to both of our surprise, there sat the dog in the driveway, like she was waiting for us and she had no idea that was where we were going!!!! We left the owner a message and then went to address on the tag, which was Notre Dame Seminary and we couldn't figure that one out. A short time later, the out-of-town owner called and someone was sent to retrieve the dog and that is when we learned that we had found Archbishop Aymond's dog, Maggie, who had become frightened in the thunderstorm and taken off. And she did live iin his residence at the seminary. K was great about the dog and waited with us while we waited for someone to come get her. We knew then we were meant to stay in this lovely little studio. That and Matt is a fireman, as were all of the men on my dad's side of the family in NOLA, going back for over 125 years, with a plot at Cypress Grove, the firemen cemetery. Yeah, I'm weird like that about signs, lol! He was nice enough to try to get me some information about the stations they worked out of. I have told all of my friends about it and I know that the next they go to NOLA they will be asking me about where we stayed. We left feeling like we had made 2 new friends and I hope we did!!! Next time, y'all are coming with us to Snug Harbor to see Charmaine! Thanks again for your wonderful hospitality and for sharing your home with us; see you next year, if not sooner!!xoxo

  • Very nicely appointed, quiet little backyard apartment close to Universities and Carrollton in a nice residential neighborhood. Very clean and comfortable, with off street parking, beer and coffee provided. Nice run from here down through Tulane or Audubon Place. We could have stayed much longer!

  • This studio was the perfect space to unwind after watching Mardi Gras parades and exploring the city. Great location next to the st Charles street car line and a number of bus routes. Easy to get to uptown parades and the French quarter.

Toilettenartikel, Abwaschmittel, Kaffee etc. Das Haus war sehr sauber. Wir können diese Unterkunft bestens empfehlen.
