  • The previous comments on this location are all true. Great place and lovely hosts. Best experienced with a rental car, which allows trips to the Sorrento peninsula etc. Make sure you visit the roof terrace and have the house wine. We didn't want to leave.

  • Emma’s place is a villa built in the 1700s for as a hunting palace associated with the Portici Palace so the architecture and gardens are museum quality. Filled with antiques and family heirlooms, it is wonderful. Please note there is air conditioning, but there is a 5 euro charge for it per day. Emma will do you laundry for you - ours was 15 euros. The breakfast was absolutely lovely and the best we had during our three weeks in Spain and Italy! Omelet, bruschetta, homemade lemon cake, tea, coffee, amazing jellies. It’s a pretty steep hill up from the train to her house but they will give you a ride. The train to Pompeii was easy but hot and crowded. It’s only 20 minutes away. Emma’s son drove us to the train station in Naples for a much better rate than a taxi. Overall a great place and Emma and her family are warm, welcoming and fabulous!

  • If you want to experience living inside a museum. This Villa B&B is a perfect option for you. The host is very friendly and gave us helpful tips during our stay.

  • We’d been looking for an accommodation in Naples, but chose that villa in small town Portici, that close to Naples. So, we didn’t doubt a moment about our choice during the stay. First of all, the allocation is great. You can reach easily Vesuvius, Pompeii, all small towns all around and of course Naples. We didn’t have problems to visit even Capri. Portici town itself is very south Italian and non- touristic place. Halls in the villa look even much better than on the pictures. Just small piece of spirit of royal palace. The host tell us nice story about the villa, that used to be royal hunter house in 18 century. The owners were very hospitable, gave us many advises about places to visit and to have a dinner. We’ve been very happy to take the advises. Also we’ve been pleasantly surprised to get amazing breakfast that was absolutely not Italian. It wasn’t just a coffee and croissant. It is the best place to stay during your visit in Naples.

  • The house is incredible (built apparently in the 1700s). It's filled with amazing antiques, paintings, and sculptures. Emma and her husband were extremely friendly. The small downsides were that the house is a bit away from the train station so it was not as easy to get to some of the nearby attractions as we would have liked. Additionally, the WiFi only works in some parts of the house. Other than that, a fantastic stay!

    Frederik2014-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Michele was a fantastic host! He picked us up at the bus station and showed us the way to his apartment. In the apartment he had croissants, jams, coffee, and even a bottle of wine for us. The terrace has an amazing view of Positano. There's a fair amount of steps to climb but all worth it! Thanks Michele!

    Callia2015-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • Michele was a great host who was accommodating to all my requests and ever willing to help out with any information I needed to get around. Instructions were detailed and I had no issues getting around with Michele's help. The room was clean and the terrace had a very good view of the sea and coastline of positano. Definitely will recommend this place to anyone who wishes to stay in positano!

  • Michele is friendly, generous, and bends over backwards to help his guests. He very promptly responds to messages and is a fantastic host - you will feel very welcome in his town. My favorite piece of advice? "All the stairs in Positano descend to the beach". Believe me, there are lots of stairs in Positano. Be ready to climb them or take a smartphone photo of his clear map+bus instructions posted in the room. The place is spacious and decorated with all one might need. The shower has plenty of water pressure and the bathroom is unusually roomy for Italy, especially in a place as old as Positano. The roomy fridge (again by Italy standards) comes stocked with yogurt, drinks, and a bottle of tasty local limoncello. But more importantly, the view from the outdoor patio balcony is spectacular - especially at evening and night. You can see the whole town twinkling below as the moonlight washes over the ocean. It's simply magical. I strongly recommend Michele and his place for any guests looking to experience Positano a bit away from the crowds while still keeping the city center easily accessible.

    Will2015-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed in Positano for two nights. Michele was an amazing host and the apartment was fantastic, better than advertised. Firstly, Michele was so great at responding to our messages and from the moment we booked and even after we had left and moved on to a different place in Italy he was sending us recommendations and helpful information. He was also kind enough to drive us early in the morning to our next destination since he was heading to that way during the morning of our check out! He really goes above and beyond for his guests! The apartment was incredible, from other reviews we thought we were staying in a room in Michele's house but it is actually a private two bedroom apartment with a separate entrance. The patio has incredible views and is all yours. Michele lived upstairs. The best thing is he had fully stocked the apartment with food, water, wine and other things! The apartment had more amenities than most hotel rooms!! We highly recommend this apartment if you are planning on visiting Positano. It is a little farther out of the main town and is quite a hike up if you take the convenient steps. We enjoyed the walk up, but Michele had recommended a bus on the way back from town that drops you off close to the house.

    Nicole2015-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • Host was s (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) NICE and PERFECT. He picked up us at the bus station with his car, and he even carry our luggage by himself. He noticed us about nice restaurants near the accomodation. He was very good at quick reponse with message. He gave us whatever we need. The accomodation was very large and comfortable and has a very wonderful view. We had some problem when we get out of positano because of the heavy snow, but Michele helped us with his best. We had unforgettable time at Positano :) I recommend ya'll to visit his home !!

Lady Laura The apartment is located in the most characteristic area of Amalfi facing the sea with a wonderful panoramic view of the bay and the city, it is a 2 minute walk to the beach and Piazza Duomo, surrounded by typical bars and restaurants. It is very bright, has a comfortable terrace connected to living room, bedroom, bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen, flat screen tv, wi fi, air conditioning.
The apartment has a beautiful panoramic terrace connected to the living room where you can dine or relax with the view of a unique scenery. Even the living room as the bedroom has large windows overlooking the city, is located on the fourth floor, with 72 stairs which are a common element for almost all the house of the Amalfi Coast, due to its architecture, it is not recommended for those with deambulation problems.
  • Alles perfekt Toll ausgestattetes Appartment, Kühlschrank gefüllt :-) Aussicht traumhaft

    Christoph2018-08-21T00:00:00Z
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants uws. alles in Schrittnähe.

  • Antonio and his father were the BEST of hosts. My wife and I were here in Amalfi for Honeymoon for 7 days and absolutely enjoyed every piece of this apartment. The views from the balcony are stunning. The location is close to everything (bus/ferry, market square, shopping). Antonio even had someone take our bags up. He helped us with reservations at nearby restaurants. Must TRY Restorante Savo in Atrani (next city over -walking 10min). We are so happy to stay here and enjoy our time in Amalfi! Thank you Antonio! We will definitely recommend to friends that come to Amalfi in the future. Ciao!!!

    Jad2017-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing stay! The location is perfect, right next to the port so we could get to the ferry in 2 minutes for day trips. It's also right next to the square for shopping and restaurants. Antonio was great, too! He met us at the ferry when we arrived and had someone carry our luggage up to the apartment (lots of stairs!). He stocked our fridge with wine, beer and snacks for breakfast. He gave us suggestions for restaurants and was easily reachable by text during our stay. The apartment itself is absolutely beautiful with a stunning view and we could not have asked for more... definitely recommended!

    Emily2017-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Although the area was fine as was the apartment when inside photos from the balcony showed the view to the front and left but omitted the very close over viewing dwellings from the right hand side. Also failed to describe the steepness, size and severity of the 70 odd steps to reach the apartment in the building which is why we left 2 days early as my wife felt unsafe going up and down them.

    Steve2018-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • Central to everything. Looked after by Antonio very well - food, fruit, breakfast, wine, beer etc all in the apartment for us. The views from the balcony are beautiful- especially sunrise. Thoroughly recommend

    Heather2017-11-20T00:00:00Z
  • Apartment is even better than the pictures, fantastic balcony and views which really make the place. Antonio welcomed us so well even taking our bags to the apt. which had steep stairs, had the apt. stocked with food and both Antonio and his Dad were always on hand to answer questions and provide some great recommendations on where to eat etc.... Would definitely stay here again had we had a fantastic time

Casa Degli Angeli is located above Positano in a quite spot overlooking the sea in the village of Montepertuso. If you are looking to relax and be at only 15-20 minutes by bus or car from the busing and hectic Positano this is the place for you. "PLEASE MAKE SURE TO READ THE ENTIRE LISTING" as the cleaning fees and tourist tax need to be paid at your arrival in cash along with late check in for this year only.
Casa Degli Angeli is located at 4 km from the centre of Positano in the village of Montepertuso. If you are looking to relax in a peaceful location my flat is the perfect place for you. With easy access to Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Sorrento and Capri by boat or by public buses.
To reach the property there are around 120 stairs. A bus stop is at only 5 minutes walk from the apartment that connect Montepertuso with the centre of Positano and the main beaches in 15-20 minutes. At only 10 minutes walk you have a great restaurant called il Ritrovo and a grocery store and a bar called il Pertuso. 15-20 minutes walk you have 2 more great restaurants with amazing views overlooking the bay of Positano called La Terra and La Tagliata.

  • We only stayed overnight at Antonio and Stefania's lovely apartment, but thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay! The apartment was stylish, clean and secure. Our hosts kindly invited us into their own home just steps away for coffee. They provided great information and recommendations about their village and Positano. The apartment is situated in the village of Montepertuso in the hills above the bustle of Positano; which afforded a peaceful setting with spectacular views. Positano was easily accessible by bus with a stop a few minutes away from the apartment. Montepertuso has an excellent restaurant and market that we walked to from the apartment. We could not have found a better place to stay and we are already planning a longer, return stay. Thank you, Stefania and Antonio for your kindness and care to make our brief stay memorable!

    Annette2018-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at the beautiful apartment. It had a great view out of the balcony. We much appreciated the fresh fruits and juice the host had left us. The walk down to positano and back up is strenuous in the heat but the stunning view is worth every step. Also highly recommend the path of the gods hike starting from the nearby village as well as the hike up to the hole in the mountain from the nearby village square.

    Jonathan2018-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • The family of Antonio and Stefania was gracious and hospitable. The apartment was beautifully constructed and furnished. The million dollar view of the ravine and ocean from the balcony offered a delightful respite from the hustle and bustle of central Positano. We enjoyed listening to the chickens and observing small town life in Montepertuso. Use the emergency number for Marco if you have questions. There are steps down from the road to the apartment but the place could not have been more delightful!

    Deborah2018-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • Antonio's place was a beautiful traditional stone house with amazing views on two levels and a terrace towards the Montepertuso village, sun and the sea... Positano village lays 2000 steps below, but with a bus or by car you reach the appartment with only 120 steps, which is not bad if one's knees work :) In the Montepertuso village, next to the flat, there is a little grocery store and a couple of fine restaurants (La Tagliata most worth of a mention). In the traditional looking flat there is all you need for a pleasant stay, cooking and relaxing. Antonio's family (living next to the place, but leaving all in the peace) is a great host with all hospitality and kindness! I would definitely recommend to choose this place :)

    Lotta2016-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Cosy apartment with wonderful views of Montepertuso, the hills below and the sea. Montepertuso is a quiet, countryside village - way above Positano, but very easy to get to by bus from Positano. Also close to the Path of the Gods walk - starting at Nocelle the next village up. Great supermarket / deli just up the road so perfect for self catering. The village also has four quite famous restaurants if you want to splash out one night. We were met off the bus which helps on arrival as the house is several flights of steps down off the road. Steps everywhere on the Amalfi coast so don't carry heavy suitcases! The apartment had most basics provided and a clothes washing machine - which is great if you're doing lots of walking.

    Christine2016-05-04T00:00:00Z
  • This was a very beautiful place. Great view. A lot of steps but good exercise and definitely worth it! Angelo was very helpful and met us as soon as we arrived on our first day. He helped bring our luggage to the place and gave us a lot of info on what to do around Positano and the surrounding area. This is a must stay place if you're visiting Positano!

Alles perfekt.
