Just booked in Minneapolis
This third-floor studio apartment with a woodsy feel and loft has all the privacy you need for a Twin Cities get-away weekend. As it is only four blocks from the Blue Line Metro, it has all of the downtown/airport accessibility for business and easy transfers to the Green Line Metro that runs to St. Paul and the University of Minnesota. The studio has a bathroom and a kitchenette with a refrigerator, sink, microwave (no stove). The studio space has two queen beds in different nooks.
Our space has two queen beds, a full bath, and a common space with a couch, sitting area and wood-burning stove, table and chairs, and a kitchenette. For breakfast, the Pow-Wow Cafe is right around the corner and the fabulous Maria's Cafe is right down the street. The space also has a fridge, sink, microwave, Keurig, hot pot, and panini maker (note: there is no stove/oven). In the summer, our home has AC units in the windows and a ceiling fan overhead. In the winter, the unit has forced air and a wood-burning stove. We are glad to provide a heating blanket to those who would like one. We have free parking on the street, but no reserved parking spots on the property. For the comfort of our guests, the queen mattresses have a 100% hypoallergenic, waterproof mattress protector covers.
There is plenty to do in the Minneapolis metro area, and our place is just .75 miles from downtown, including the Viking's Stadium, Gold Medal Park, and the Guthrie Theatre. We are 1.2 miles from the Minneapolis Convention Center and favorites such as Global Market and the Midtown Greenway. Lake Calhoun, Lake of the Isles, Lake Harriet, and Minnehaha Falls are just five miles away to the southwest and southeast of us. If you are coming to the cities for a gastronomic adventure, Hell's Kitchen, Matt's Bar (for the Juicy Lucy burger) or Fogo de Chao for a fancy dinner are just a short drive away. A note about our urban, ethnic neighborhood: we do live in the city center which means that our neighborhood is busy and very varied: our home is near bus lines, public spaces like parks, coffee shops, non-profit offices, other large old Victorian homes, government buildings, apartment complexes, health clinics, and the many different types of people traveling through the neighborhood on a daily basis. Urban city life is densely populated, so you will want to exercise city-smarts and common sense when traveling out late at night from our place. If that makes you uncomfortable, you might prefer to stay in one of the quieter neighborhoods outside the city center like Nokomis or Eden Prairie, White Bear, St. Louis Park, Plymouth, or Longfellow. We, however, love the energy of the city of Minneapolis. One of our favorite pluses of living in Minneapolis's city center in the Ventura Village neighborhood is the fact that we enjoy a huge diversity of neighbors from all parts of the world and with it the customs, the dress, the food, and vivacity that they all bring to Minneapolis.
  • What an amazing retreat location. No extra things of life to distract you. Our kids 6,8, and 4 month old all came. We were very comfortable and had the seeetest time. Kids LOVED the loft to themselves. Definitely will stay again.

  • We had a nice time at Zach and Betsy's place. Zach was very nice and responsive with our reservation. The location is pretty close to downtown although I don't think I would walk at night. At the time we stayed this was not a fully furnished kitchen with sufficient dishes so if that is important to you, check with the owners before booking. Everything was clean but if you are more than 5'8" the bathroom will be challenging with the slanted ceilings.

    Mary2016-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location and excellent headquarters for exploring Minneapolis. All amenities as shown in a lovely third floor space. Great balcony and well situated near food, coffee and NiceBike rack for exploring the city. Would recommend Zach and Betsy’s place!

  • Fantastic place to stay. Hosts were great & understanding as this was my first time using Airbnb.

    Dan2018-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • Easy to find, a quick Uber from downtown. Great communication and easy access to the apartment. The apartment is definitely charming, but is essentially an attic that somebody remodeled at least 50 years ago that could use some modern touches and cleaning. An old home means dust, and there was plenty of it. I watched a mouse walk across the floor while I was working at night. And then there were mouse droppings on the floor in the morning. Great potential, and certainly a cute place, but I'll go somewhere else next time.

  • Great place to stay in Minneapolis!! Nice and cozy and close to everything that we love in the city.

    Michele2016-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures don't do it justice. This place is gorgeous and a great retreat for anyone looking for a home away from home. The neighborhood is fairly quiet and diverse which is welcome and the house is a short drive away from great food or touristy spots.

    Hope2017-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Zach and Betsy were wonderful hosts! They made check in and check out extremely easy! Additionally, they made sure to take the extra time to periodically message us to make sure we were comfortable. The space was absolute gorgeous! Zach and Betsy paid great attention to detail to create their beautiful tree top themed air bnb. Although in an urban area, we always felt safe, secure, and secluded! My boyfriend and I were able to enjoy a well needed relaxing getaway, largely thanks to Zach and Betsy! I would highly recommend staying here and we would definitely stay here again!!!

Beautiful, sunny second level of a historic corner store house in the heart of the NE Minneapolis Arts District. Walk to the best cafes, taprooms and restaurants in town, enjoy a full kitchen and comfortable bed, and have locally roasted coffee on the private deck. Near downtown. Private, secure, quiet, great for families or business travelers! Come enjoy everything this great neighborhood has to offer. Check out the 1st floor apartment here: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/16704400?preview
Welcome to Northeast Minneapolis! You'll be staying in your own private apartment -- the entire second level of what used to be a corner grocery store. Built in 1902, the space is unique, comfortable, and filled with thoughtful touches, yet retains its historic and charming character. Located near downtown, the U of M, and the Mississippi river. Enjoy the spacious, open layout, take advantage of the beautiful private backyard, and explore the neighborhood! Upon arrival, you can let yourself in with the keypad lock -- we'll provide the code when you book. Head up the stairs, and you'll be right inside the open and light-filled living room, where there's a large sofa, chaise lounge, and our handmade coffee/end tables. In the adjoining den, there is a desk, a sofa, and a flat screen TV with cable, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. The bedroom is small but cozy, with plenty of room to hang up your clothes, and a super comfortable queen-sized memory-foam mattress with lots of pillows and a down comforter. There are bedside tables with lamps and outlets for your phones. In the mornings, brew some locally roasted coffee beans or tea (we provide both) in the sunny kitchen, which has everything you need to cook up a storm -- convection oven and gas range, large fridge, pots/pans/utensils/dishes, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, plenty of counter space, good knives, and a concrete rolling island. Have breakfast outside on the deck among the treetops overlooking the large, wildflower-filled private backyard, where, later in the day, you might decide to have a barbecue, or to sit around the fire pit on a starry night with a drink. The apartment will sleep five people, but is most comfortable with two or three. In addition to the main bed, we provide an 18" high, auto-inflate air mattress with its own linens and comforter, which is comfortable and sleeps two people. There is a very comfortable sofa, too. Your host, Pete, lives on the property, and is typically close by whenever you might need anything! I'm always happy to meet and spend time giving you a tour, or recommendations.
When you venture out, you will find yourself in the heart of the Northeast Arts District -- a safe, charming residential neighborhood that is within 1-2 miles of coffee shops, grocery stores, restaurants, and all manner of excellent restaurants, bars, and attractions, in addition to incredible local breweries, hundreds of artist studios, and more. Our street is a designated bikeway, among many others that cover the entire city. Minneapolis is one of the best biking cities in the country, and we provide maps and route advice to get you just about anywhere. We are close to the center of downtown, the famous chain of lakes, Target Field, US Bank Stadium, The Guthrie, and the riverfront. The largest art crawl/festival in the nation, Art-a-Whirl, takes place directly in our neighborhood every May.
  • Peter and Kathryn were welcoming and gracious hosts. The Corner Store is so comfortable and spacious, and it was stocked with everything (and more!) that we needed. The neighborhood is great too! I highly recommend the Corner Store and will definitely stay again on my next visit to Mpls.

    Leigh2016-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great quiet location with close proximity to downtown, the river, parks and good food! Very easy booking and checking in. Felt private but Peter seems very approachable if you have questions. Very cute apartment. Highly recommend reading some of Peter's tips for area attractions. We loved Spyhouse Coffee, Lake of the Isles area and Minnihaha Falls park! Also recommend Red Cow for burgers, The Mill City Museum, Stone Arch Bridge, and Glam Doll Donuts. Minneapolis is a great city

    Cathryn2017-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • Pete had an assortment of coffee preparation methods available for us, along with fresh coffee and milk. His neighborhood tips were great, and we enjoyed walking around NE mpls checking out local restaurants and cafes. The place was comfortable and quirky, with a lot of thoughtful decorating touches. Looking forward to our next visit!

    Matthew2017-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great neighborhood if you are interested in the arts scene in the Twin Cities. My hosts were delightful, providing a notebook full of places to eat each meal of the day and other recommendations. This is a lovely, airy space with lots of light.

  • Love staying at this quaint apartment in Northeast. Will definitely plan to stay here again when I travel to Minneapolis!

  • Peter is a great host, and I loved the place. Would visit again!

    Rishabh2018-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay in Peter and Kathryn's Northeast apartment. We used their place as our home base for our wedding week and could not have felt more at home! The place is decorated perfectly and the kitchen is wonderful! The whole apartment gets a lot of light and feels very comfortable. It's also close to plenty of cool things in NE Minneapolis and we enjoyed following their recommendations. We didn't have too much interaction with Peter or Kathryn, but they were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. They were great at communicating with us on email and accommodated our early check in. Thank you guys! We hope to be back someday soon :)

    Kelsey2015-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment is clean, airy and had great light, and stayed cool and comfortable on a 90 degree day. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked. There are a few different nooks to sprawl out in and relax. The check in process was simple and the few times I communicated with Peter, he responded within minutes. Was a perfect Airbnb experience.

  • Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. It's a short walk to the light rail and minutes from many great restaurants. Off-street parking is a plus. We would definitely stay here again.

  • Everything about this house is amazing! The space is decorated beautifully, from the ample paces to sleep, the fenced in yard, ample parking or fire pit this house offers so much! There is even a cute little bar about a block and a half away that serves great meals and provides a low key night life within walking distance! I would recommend this pace to anyone who wanted a safe, comfortable place to stay for a group!

  • House was easy to find and get into. Communication with Al was very easy. This was our second stay at one of his properties in Minneapolis and it was perfect!! Clean and comforatable for our family, and perfect for kids. Will likely stay here again next time we are in the cities.

    Freyja2016-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • I have nothing but great things to say about this space! Super stylish interior, a big yard, plenty of beds for everyone (we slept 9 very comfortably), and plenty of parking! Al was quick to respond and very accommodating, I would gladly stay again!

    Kirsten2018-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • Well-priced accommodations within easy reach of both airport and downtown. Fully equipped and responsive host.

    Rachel2018-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • The location is good, close to everything, but you do need a car. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, no noise at all at night. So the house is kinda old, the beds are too soft and uncomfortable. Shower water didn’t drain fast enough as well as the vessel sink. Be prepared to be charged extra by the host, because my 3 years old daughter nose bleed at 4am when she was sleeping, there was some blood on the bed sheet (a size of a thumb and few tiny spots), the host charged me for a new bed sheet (although it isn’t that much but I really feel so bad about this). By the way, this is my very first Airbnb experience, and I’m not impressed.

A queen pillow top bed sleeps two in your private room on the main floor of my home. Just four blocks to Victory Memorial Parkway, which links to the Grand Rounds bike/walk paths circling Mpls. It's a 10 minute drive to downtown Mpls, and easily accessible by multiple highways. I love that my neighborhood is diverse, centrally located, and home to many historic, well-maintained homes.
My home is a cozy and welcoming place for you to rest and recharge during your time in Minneapolis! You'll have your own room on the main floor, and use of the main floor bathroom, which will be shared with other Airbnb guests. The bedroom has a queen bed, nightstand, and closet. The bright bathroom has a shower and jetted tub.
I'm in the urban Cleveland neighborhood of NW Minneapolis. My block is comprised of single-family homes (one duplex on the corner), mostly homeowners and a couple of rentals. My neighborhood is diverse and safe--it will not look like a suburban neighborhood. You'll often hear the neighborhood kids playing on weekends and evenings in warmer months. My home is four blocks to the beautiful Victory Memorial Parkway, part of the Grand Rounds bike/walking paths that travel throughout Minneapolis, and which are unique in every season. I'm less than a mile from North Memorial Hospital (I do hear sirens and helicopters when enjoying my patio), and just a 10 minute drive from downtown Minneapolis. It's also easy to access multiple highways to get around the Twin Cities area. The neighborhood is very residential--I can't boast of a coffee shop on the corner :) The closest businesses are a few blocks away, and include the awesome Lowry Cafe, family-run North End Hardware, and a Subway, Family Dollar, and ALDI, as well as a post office. Minneapolis bus service is very reliable, but my home is probably a better fit if you will have a car while in town.
  • Elise's house was a wonderful place to stay! She was kind and very communicative so we knew how to find everything at her house. Great place to stay!

    Mary2016-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Elise's place is very comfortable, super clean and just an overall fantastic place to stay! I loved all the natural products, fantastic water pressure in the shower (for those of us with long/thick hair, that's important!) cozy details (like plush towels and SUPER comfy bed!) and Elise herself was delightful! She made me feel very at home and I had absolutely everything I needed to make my stay perfect! I would highly recommend staying here and will for sure again the next time I'm in the area.

    Susan2017-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • I only stayed with Elise for one night and it was a pretty quick visit, but everything about staying with her was easy and enjoyable. Everything about the room is comfy and clean. Elise was so easy to communicate with and was an overall great host. Would definitely stay again if I'm back in Minneapolis!

    Alyssa2016-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Elise is a natural with hospitality. Our paths didn't cross, so we didn't actually meet *in person* while I was there, but even still, I felt very comfortable and welcome in her home! She went over-the-top with providing toiletries, towels, as well as a variety of breakfast and snack foods, hot drink options, etc. Her home is clean and quaint...a great place to rest well and relax! Elise was very communicative and responded to my messages in a very timely manner. I will likely stay in her home again!

    Katy2016-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • We felt very welcomed. The house was clean and just like the pictures looked like.

    Josh2016-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Elise was very nice and the bed was cozy. The only negative thing was that the neighborhood wasn't particularly safe.

    Ali2016-05-25T00:00:00Z

This historic South Minneapolis home was built in 1910 just before the Craftsman boom of the 20s. Original maple floors, mahogany staircase winding to the 2nd floor bedrooms and bath, cozy mint sun porch, and sprawling deck and backyard.
No pets have lived in this house but some pets are welcome!
  • Cute cottage! Had everything we needed and more. Our pups couldn't be happier with the yard and beautiful neighborhood. Very clean and great location.

  • Al's home was exactly what we needed as a family. It was a major plus to see it was located so close to Matt's Bar. Quite neighborhood, and no issue when looking for street parking. The fridge had eggs and fruit, but we didn't notice until the morning we were leaving, so they went unused. We would stay here again.

  • Nice and safe, quiet neighborhood to stay in. Close to city without all the noise. And very close to walking trails and parks. Beds are not terribly comfortable. Home is very clean and simply decorated. WiFI worked great. If mattresses are replaced, would definitely stay again.

    Kristin2017-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy house in a great neighborhood, near good restaurants and cafes. Nice back yard and patio area to enjoy during the warmer months in Minneapolis. Al and his staff were quick to respond with any questions, and courteous. My minor complaint is I rented the house for one month, and the master bedroom does not have a dresser for clothes storage, and the guest room had one very small dresser. This was a bit inconvenient for a longer stay, and resulted in me living out of a suitcase. Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed a nice peaceful stay at Al's place.

    Henry2017-12-23T00:00:00Z

This is a charming historic unit with french doors and a non-working fireplace with lots of natural light. The unit is nicely furnished and ideal for up to four guests. The unit is on the second floor of a Victorian home built in 1903. LOCATION: The apartment is just 1.3 mi from U.S. Bank Stadium, walking distance to downtown and minutes away from the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Convenient bus lines run to Uptown, LynLake and, U of M campus. Coffee shops and Eat Street are close-by, as well.
This space has a lot of historic charm with east and south facing windows which bring in lots of natural light. This is a small apartment so although it will fit up to four people, occasionally I get feedback that the apartment is most ideal for two. However, I have had many groups of three and four who were delighted with the space. It depends on where one is from right? New Yorker's and people coming from urban areas find the space to have plenty of room, while people from rural areas sometimes feel the space is too small. I think the space is somewhat small, but well appointed and optimized for best use. The home was built in 1903 and is an example of a paired down victorian. Although the unit has been updated and modernized it still has many aspects unique to an older home such as squeaky floor boards, tighter access points, and blemishes on the porcelain bathtub and sink. The heat is controlled by myself on the third floor of the house, so if some adjustment of the heat is desired one should contact me regarding any concerns and I can make appropriate adjustments.
The neighborhood is a diverse, busy and urban area with some charm and a lot of grit. There are a number of cafes and stores within walking distance. The Boiler Room cafe is a charming garden level coffee shop situated in the a boiler room of a commercial building and is 2 blocks away. CVS and Starbucks are about 2 blocks away as well. MIA or Minneapolis Institute of Arts and The Minneapolis Convention Center are about 5 blocks away. A restaurant called The Copper Hen is about a 7 block walk and has French fusion food and a charming high end country aesthetic (think Marie Antoinette playing peasant in her pretend village). Wedge Table is about 6 blocks walk and features organic healthy wholesome food with a spacious and clean cafeteria style layout. Slice of New York is 5 blocks away, open late, and has the kind of delicious and greasy pizza slices one would grab before hopping on the subway for a night out in New York. The Bad Waitress (a diner), a Pizzeria called Black Sheep Pizza, and Pancho Villa Mexican Restaurant are all good choices on 26th and Nicollet, which is about 8 blocks away. Ice House is on 25th and Nicollet and has great food, live music, and outdoor seating adjacent to a pocket park with a water feature and sculptures. The Black Forest is a German Beer Garden with German food (nothing to write home about) but a really lovely outdoor terrace. Little Tijuana Restaurant is open super late and has great Mexican food. Rainbow Chinese is excellent and about 12 to 14 blocks away along with Quangs and Pho 79 which are both lively and affordable. There are a number of Asian Restaurants on Nicollet which people like, but I have not personally tried them.
  • Perfect place to spend a night or 2. The host was great with any questions. The decor was cool and the apartment was very clean and nicely set up!

  • Thomas's apartment was absolutely beautiful. It was in a great location (very close to the Minneapolis Institute of Art) and felt very safe. There was always street parking available. He provided amenities such as: dishes, shampoo/conditioner, and towels that made our time better. There was a pull out couch that wasn't mentioned on the listing. Absolutely loved this apartment and would stay there again.

We invite you to stay in our home! We have a cozy guest bedroom available in our quiet, two-story home built in the 1920s. Located in the Southeast Como neighborhood, our home is conveniently situated near the University of Minnesota, TCF Stadium, and Dinkytown - about a 15 to 30-minute walk to any of these locations. Guests love our home because of how close it is to the University of Minnesota. A great location for visiting students, alumni, parents, and those attending conferences on campus.
*Looking for travel credit? Sign up here and you'll get $40 towards your 1st stay: www.airbnb.com/c/kha107 --- Hi there! We are Kevin and Caitlin and we are two young professionals living in our two-story, single family home with our 17-pound dog Charlotte. Our house is an older home that was built in the 1920s and contains the original woodwork and built-in cabinets. We live in the Southeast Como neighborhood of Minneapolis, a lively student neighborhood located just north of the University of Minnesota. We enjoy meeting new people and decided to rent out the spare guest bedroom in our house. Our house is conveniently located close to the main University of Minnesota campus and is also a short Uber or Lyft ride to Downtown and Northeast Minneapolis. Our guest room features an Alexander Signature Series Mattress from Nest Bedding™. Guests often say that it's one of the best mattresses they've ever slept on! The guest room also comes with a small desk, nightstand, table lamp, dresser, and closet. The door to the guest room has a latch that locks from the inside for travelers that might want additional privacy. If you're interested in staying with us, please tell us a little bit about yourself and what brings you into town. We want to make sure you have a great stay in our home! ***For summertime guests - please note that we do not have air conditioning in our home. The temperatures in Minneapolis during the summer are usually in the mid-80s and in the 70's during the evening, so A/C usually isn't necessary (one of the perks of living in Minnesota), but if you're especially sensitive to heat, you might want to consider a different place.***
The Southeast Como neighborhood is a quiet neighborhood conveniently located north of the University of Minnesota campus and a short bus ride, Uber/Lyft ride, or bike ride to Downtown and Northeast Minneapolis. The neighborhood is a mix of college students, young families, and older folks that have lived in the neighborhood for years. There are a number of dining options located just a block away from our house. - The Blue Door Pub is considered one of the best burgers in the Twin Cities and the restaurant has great local beers on tap. We come here pretty often. The wings are really good too. - Ramen Kazama is a new Ramen spot that opened up right around the corner from our house. It's one of the most highly rated Ramen spots in Minneapolis and is highly recommended! - Black Coffee and Waffle Bar serves top notch waffles and is great for getting a cup of coffee in the morning. It's also a good study spot if you need to get work done. - Football Pizza serves some of our favorite pizza in the Twin Cities. Really convenient if you're looking for some good food you can take to go. - The Dinkytown neighborhood is a short 10-minute walk away and has great bar and restaurant options that cater primarily to the college crowd. We especially like eating at Shuang Cheng, Pagoda, and Loring Pasta Bar. - The University of Minnesota campus is also about a 15 to 30 minute walk away depending on where on campus you are looking to go. Our location is great for visiting students, alumni, parents, or people traveling for conferences on campus.
  • The place was as described Kevin and Caitlin were very friendly, and helpful. Charlotte is very nice, dog. The place were very close to the training at the University were I had my training.

  • My boyfriend and I stayed at Kevin and Caitlin's for a weekend, and we couldn't have better things to say about our stay. They were very communicative and flexible about our check-in and check-out times, which was helpful given our luggage, changing plans, and the rain. They even provided us with a mini guidebook to their house and the neighborhood. We immediately felt very welcome in their home, which was exceedingly neat, and had plenty of space and privacy. The location is wonderful - a close walk to campus and restaurants but still nestled in a quiet neighborhood. I really enjoyed meeting them and would definitely stay again.

  • Kevin was super responsive with his communication before the trip. Their house was clean and everything you could ask for. If I was staying in Minneapolis longer, I would've taken advantage of all the maps and guides they left me in my room. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

  • Kevin is a great host. Very responsive communication and super chill when I got to hang out with him. His place is a beautiful old house. It’s a great location for the university and Dinkytown. I’ll definitely be back.

  • Kevin and Katelyn have a lovely home and were very friendly and accommodating hosts, not to mention their adorable little dog Charlotte! The bedroom was comfy and the bathroom next door had a good, powerful shower. Everything was clean and tidy and made a great base to come home to. Very convenient for the university, especially if you use the bike share station nearby. The neighbourhood was fairly quiet, but with lots of fun places to eat/drink close by. Not too difficult to get to from the airport via bus/metro- the instructions from Kevin were very helpful. All in all a good place to stay.

This large and versatile home is part traditional Minnesota craftsman, part International ski lodge, with a pinch of cosmopolitan bling to create a distinctly "City" vibe. Tastefully updated to provide modern comforts while still preserving the original 1920s feel, this home is both glamorous and understated. Clean lines and surfaces dominate the functional craftsman aesthetic and the interior design follows the architecture's lead.
Maple. Pine. Red Oak. The holy trinity of the Midwestern craftsman envelop this unique home in a natural warmth. The craftsmanship of the wood, the simplicity and geometry of the main home and the loft, create a rich and interesting environment that is both pleasing to the eye and functional for travelers. The Sun Room: wonderful street view with awesome cordless shades and curtains that open and close for privacy. The Star Room: Silverdrop and Cucumber, Turkish tassel rug and two steps to the bathroom! The Green Room: quiet and private, near the balcony and bathroom, with a view of the backyard. The Loft: perfectly asymmetrical, with cozy foam flooring and (faux) fur bedding.
Bancroft is the quintessential south Minneapolis residential neighborhood popular for its craftsman homes, coffee shops, restaurants, and lightning fast access to downtown.
  • This place is incredible! The pictures don’t do the space justice! It felt like home! I’m definitely looking forward to staying here again.

Our beautiful basement apartment has a large bedroom, living room, bathroom, laundry facilities, a kitchenette (mini fridge, microwave, toaster & coffee maker) & gorgeous backyard access. We are in the fun & easily-accessible Powderhorn Park neighborhood in S. Minneapolis. Walking distance to park & lake, restaurants, bike trails, light rail & retail. Perfect space for couples or solo adventurers. Less than 15-minute drives to downtown Minneapolis, airport, and University of Minnesota.
Separate entrance to private lower level apartment of our home. Although this is a basement, it has egress windows and receives a lot of sunshine! Basic amenities provided: including shampoo, conditioner, soap, hairdryer, dishes, safe tap drinking water, coffee, tea, wine opener, snacks, etc. Great location - walking distance from unique retail, restaurants, bars, and the light rail! Also, free and easy street parking. 1 Queen sized bed and small couch provided. Note: We have a baby upstairs and despite our best efforts, sometimes there is noise, so this is not the best fit if you are very sensitive to noise. Low clearance on some ceilings as well.
Powderhorn Park is incredibly vibrant with a diverse set of residents, restaurants, and shops. We are just a couple blocks from Powderhorn Park, a beautiful place for a walk or chance to meet some friendly neighbors. We are also close to Minnehaha Creek, which offers a trail to Minnehaha Falls and the gorgeous lakes of Minneapolis.
  • I stayed at Kira's place as a break from camping on a road trip. I got stuck in Minneapolis rush hour traffic for an hour on my way there, and arrived hot and frustrated. When I stumbled exhausted up the sidewalk, the neighbors might well have wondered who the strange zombie-like figure laden with bags was. However, Kira's place was a really refreshing break from all of that: it was quiet, cool, and dark. She's clearly put a lot of thought into it, as evidenced by little details like the welcome binder full of recommendations about the city, the decor, the cold water in the mini-fridge, and the basket of coffee, snacks, and fruit. Being able to do laundry after days on the road was a great convenience, and the bathtub was very nice. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. Different AirBnbers are looking for different things, so if you're looking for a hip place right downtown that's walkable to lots of night life, this probably isn't for you. However, if you're looking for a quiet, comfortable place for a restful break, then try this one.

    Becca2017-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great location

    Rachel2018-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Once I walked in, it was clear Kira made a true effort to make me feel welcome. It is an ideal place to get away after a busy day. The only cons I can say is that if you're very tall, just know the ceilings are low. Otherwise I had a great and restful time there.

    Renuka2017-05-08T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures for this suite don't quite do it justice- it was far more cozy and homey than the listing makes it seem. The space is large and welcoming, and despite being in the basement level of the home, is fairly bright during the day (it was cloudy both days we were there). Our hosts were easy to contact and we often received a reply within minutes-even when I booked it at 1am! There were all-natural and cruelty-free products for us to use in the bathroom, as well as chilled water and snacks in the kitchen. To be honest, it felt more like we were staying with a friend than in a stranger's home. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend their place to anyone else.

    Cherii2016-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • GREAT place and perfect location. All sorts of amenities you would never think of and their pictures don't do justice of the size of the space. Kira and John were great hosts and respected my privacy.

    Elliott2016-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • It was a great stay with Kira and John. We had our own private basement. The house was clean and neat. Good for couples. We would definitely prefer to stay again if I get a chance.

  • I highly recommend Peter & Mary's place, especially for longer stays. They were very responsive my messages and got a clear dos and don'ts and how to enter the apartment and check in. They even let me change to a bigger room when my wife joined me after a week during my stay of over 3 weeks. The kitchen and dining amenities are really great and can help you on money from eating out. I really loved my larger bedroom and it could accommodate all of our luggage as we were just moving to the Twin Cities. I also think this place is a great value for money as the amenities in the apartment justify the price. Overall, my first airbnb experience was great. Once again, thanks to Peter and Mary

    Sunil Kumar2018-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • For my wife and mine for experience with AirBnb I can say that Peter's place was very nice, excellently located for what our visit was for, comfortable and cozy. The overall experience will lead to my wife and I using AirBnb in the future, and we would stay with Peter again. Things to keep in mind though, is this setup is much like a European Hostel, you get your own private room, but you will be sharing the floor which includes a spacious living room, dining room and full size kitchen, with other people in several of the other rooms on your floor, we were on the second floor and there were two other rooms, three if you include ours. Although we had no issue with our fellow guests, the gentlemen whom checked in on our last night there, he was quiet and kept to himself, but in the morning his room was wide open, had a dirty plate and cup in the sink... small problems I admit. But in a shared environment, I tend to view keeping my "stuff" in order, and in my own lockable room is just good manners. But the overall experience was great, it was nice to stay in a building or place (unlike a hotel) that actually has character and soul, and we were able to park our car Saturday, walk to all the places we intended to go, and drive off Monday afternoon. I recommend it!

Welcome to Northeast Minneapolis! You'll be cozy and comfortable in your own private apartment -- the entire first floor of what used to be a corner grocery store and butcher shop in the early 20th century. Built in 1902, the space is unique, comfortable, and filled with thoughtful touches, yet retains its historic and unconventional character. The sunny storefront space is now a beautiful living and dining room, and also a bedroom -- there's a double Murphy bed hidden in the wall. Homemade furniture makes for a stylish vibe beneath the original pressed tin ceiling, and a library ladder helps you reach whatever book you might be looking for. Located near downtown, the U of M, US Bank Stadium, Target Field, The Guthrie, and the Mississippi river. Enjoy the spacious, open layout, take advantage of the private backyard, and explore the neighborhood! Upon arrival, you can let yourself in with the keypad lock -- we'll provide the code when you book, so you can check in anytime. Head into the door on your right, and you'll be inside the large, open and airy space that used to be a small grocery store. The high ceilings, open floor plan and thoughtful amenities make for one of the more unique spaces in Minneapolis. It's outfitted with a huge sofa, beautiful modern lounge chair, and custom furniture. In this room, you'll also find a Murphy bed hidden in the wall that sleeps two, outfitted with a super comfortable Tuft & Needle mattress, custom light fixture, and outlets for your phones and devices. A large, hidden door in the back wall leads to an open and airy kitchen, where concrete countertops, a large stainless steel sink and everything you need awaits you. The bathroom has a clawfoot tub/shower, fresh towels, and everything you need. Down the short hall, you'll find a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, and a private entrance/exit to the fenced-in backyard and patio. I'm always happy to meet and spend time giving you a tour, and my favorite neighborhood recommendations. Welcome!
You are within walking distance of two of Minneapolis’ best restaurants: - Hai Hai (a 5 min walk) - Young Joni (a 15 min walk) When you venture out, you will find yourself in the heart of the Northeast Arts District -- a safe, charming residential neighborhood that is within 1-2 miles of coffee shops, grocery stores, restaurants, and all manner of excellent restaurants, bars, and attractions, in addition to incredible local breweries, hundreds of artist studios, and more. Our street is a designated bikeway, among many others that cover the entire city. Minneapolis is one of the best biking cities in the country, and we provide maps and route advice to get you just about anywhere. We are close to the center of downtown, the Minneapolis chain of lakes, and Target Field (the new Twins stadium). The largest art crawl/festival in the nation, Art-a-Whirl, takes place directly in our neighborhood every May.
  • Peter's place was even more beautiful than the pictures showed. It's nicely designed and with some really great, thoughtful touches. Our stay there was agreeable. • Peter's place was not just comfortable and clean, but fun. It is stylish and functional, very livable. Discovering coffee and a French press coffee maker and half and half and milk in the fridge made us feel most welcome. Though we didn't really prepare more than breakfast in the kitchen, one certainly could. It's well stocked and equipped. I love the way the space is used. There are spaces to put one's suitcases out of the way, a nice small open shelf with hanging rod. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. I did sleep with an eye mask because I am sensitive to any light. The bathroom was fine, though the water pressure in the shower isn't great, it's adequate. We visited family, went to the Walker, the Sculpture Garden, a Twins Game, a play at the Guthrie, ate out at wonderful restaurants. It's a walkable neighborhood. We wandered to the Fair State Brewery and Tattersall Distillery, discovered The Bark and the Bite, a great BBQ food truck, the Holy Land bakery, and the DQ! We were always happy to come "home" to the Corner Store. What a find!

    Lucy2017-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Peter's place is pure magic from the plants to the artwork to the attention to detail. I almost don't wanna hype it too much because I want to be able to stay there any time I come to town. The neighborhood is full of gems and Peter is the kinda guy you wanna sit down and chat with over a beer. I've stayed in many Airbnb's and Peter's place is at the top of my list!

  • After three bad experiences in a row — in which I nearly gave up on AirBnb —this place renewed my faith that some hosts are actually honest, reliable, and helpful. Gorgeous, well-appointed historic place in a pretty, quiet neighborhood. Clean, spacious, and comfortable. Peter was also a fantastic host. He provided awesome tips for nearby restaurants, bars, stores, etc., and was quick to respond when a few minor things came up. My husband's firm is based in Minneapolis. We will def go back the next time I join him for a long weekend of fun in the Twin Cities.

You are also a short bike ride down to the river where you cross over into downtown for sporting events, concerts, etc. This is a very young neighborhood that is very safe, with the police station only two blocks away.
  • This is really just a lovely spot. I can't recommend it enough! Clean, comfortable, great location, lovely touches. I'd stay again in a minute.

    Erin2018-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great modern space in an up-and-coming neighborhood. Quality finishes throughout made it a pleasant place to stay. Great place for the money! The hosts were super easy to work with, as well!

  • This suit is a beautiful, modern, clean and assessable loft with a full kitchen, bathroom, 2 bed room, and living area. Smart roku tv is very easy to use to watch Netflix. Wifi is fast. Bed is very comfortable! Beautiful custom made shower. Close to downtown, Super Target, McDonald’s, Starbucks and more just a few blocks away. Safe area of the city, in the brewery district. Would definitely stay here again. Must be able to walk up stairs, suit is loft of house, separate entrance in back.

  • Really cool place!

    Zack2018-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here with our 3 children. It was perfect! The bedrooms were larger than expected and allowed room for everyone. The location is close to many great places we love. Calla was a great host and gave excellent food and drink recommendations. The place was clean and the beds were comfy. Would love to stay here again!

    Lacey2018-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very cute place. It was so clean. There was extra blankets, soap, cups and plates in the cabinet/silverware, and free coffee which we enjoyed. It was about 20 minutes to mall of America, maybe 10-15 to downtown. Richard and his cohost were very helpful and responsive. There wasn’t anything really close that we could tell. There was a gas station and a dominoes pretty close. We felt safe, but it wasn’t really in the prettiest neighborhood. There was a lot of noise from neighbors and the people who were staying downstairs weren’t very quiet. If you are looking for somewhere close to shopping, this isn’t it. But for the money this is well worth it and we enjoyed our stay!

    Sarah2018-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Richard has renovated a fantastic space in a terrific Minneapolis neighborhood - Northeast! Centrally located in the Twin Cities, an old home has been "born again" with all new and modern details - cabinets, bathroom, furniture. Richard was great about communications and accommodating to our needs. It was too cold, but could easily walk to neighborhood dining...and brewpubs are everywhere in this area. Quick trip to downtown, too.

    Laurie2018-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very pleasant and clean apartment. The neighborhood is quiet and it was easy to get around the Twin Cities from there.

Urban sanctuary micro apt. in historic home. Minutes from downtown and uptown, centrally located in the bustling neighborhood of Whittier. One block from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Minneapolis Institute of Arts and the Children's Theatre Company. One block from 'Eat Street' - music venues, coffee shops, diverse restaurants.
This is a one room efficiency apt. on the first floor of a 135 year old triplex that's actively being restored. This is a small but very charming space, newly remodeled and efficiently designed. Create the mood you desire with a variety of recessed, dimmable lighting options. There is an abundance of storage with an oversized closet and a spacious multi-compartmented armoire. The apt. has space saving pocket doors, bamboo hardwood floors, a full kitchen with amenities, free washer and dryer, and a spacious bathroom with a claw foot tub and a skylight. Wifi and free off street parking available.
In all humility, this neighborhood is happenin. We are the heart of the city; authentic, truly diverse and rich with history. Located one block off of 'Eat Street', German, Greek, Jamaican, Malaysian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Middle Eastern, coal fired pizza and an amazing organic market/deli are all within steps from your back gate or within a block or two. Relax with a great cup of coffee at the 'Spyhouse' at the end of the alley or enjoy a fantastic breakfast/lunch/dinner at the 'Copper Hen' right across the alley.

  • I had a fantastic time at Colin's place. It's in a very accessible part of the city and was easy to find. The room was comfy, and had enough space for my clothes and things for the week. It was warm and well insulated, which was especially important for the cold November days we were there. The bathroom was spacious, and had a great claw foot tub. There were plenty of amazing and affordable places to eat within a short walk, and a few cool local shops. Downtown was a quick walk or bus ride away, and the local Minneapolis Institute of Art was a great diversion for a few hours as well. I'd highly recommend staying here when you visit Minneapolis!

    Noel2015-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • Loved getting to check out a neighborhood we may have otherwise not ventured into on our trip, if we had stayed somewhere into the center of the city. The apartment is super cute and cozy (love the bathroom!), and we had a great stay.

    Angela2015-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Really great place to stay in an exceptionally nice area. Very handy for great restaurants and the sights. Colin is a great host, providing support when needed but not being obtrusive. His apartment is very stylish, well-designed and well equipped. I would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting great style, comfort and value.

    Mark2016-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Colin was an amazing host and the apartment was absolutely perfect. The location is incredible, situated in one of my favorite neighborhoods of Minneapolis. Within a three block walk of our digs we enjoyed the best variety of ethnic cuisine I've experienced in any city. The Minneapolis Institute of Art was a treasure that sits on the doorstep (well, one block away). Every detail to make the apartment feel like home was considered and provided. This has been one of my best experiences with airbnb rentals ever. Thanks, Colin.

    Angela2015-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Colin made checking in and out very convenient. The listing was very accurate and met all of our expectations.

    Yusuf2016-05-15T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Colin's apartment was great! It was just as described and the perfect place for my girlfriend and I to stay in for the long weekend. The location was amazing, we were able to go out and walk to plenty of places to eat or just grab a drink! Overall a very good experience, would recommend to anyone else traveling in the area.

    Ryan2016-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Colin’s place was wonderful! Clean and cozy and comfortable and eclectic in the best way. We felt very welcome and would definitely stay here again! Also very responsive and helpful.

Centrally located apartment in the heart of downtown St. Paul. Enjoy the comforts of home such as smart TVs, Swedish memory foam queen-size bed, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, fresh towels, toiletries, and a ready to use kitchen. Senseo medium roast coffee is provided. Conveniently located within a few blocks of the Xcel Energy Center, Palace Theater, Ordway, CHS Field, St. Paul RiverCentre, Science Museum, Children's Museum, and other local favorites.
Very clean and modern space located within a beautiful historic building. This apartment is exceptionally quiet due to the thick plaster walls which were a hallmark of buildings constructed in 1928. Very unique in that it is affordable, centrally located, quiet, and the check-in process is very streamlined. Stylishly decorated interior and a nice view. We are one block from the river. Granite countertops and stainless appliances.
Saint Paul is steeped in history - there are dozens of unique and fascinating features that lend to the historic sense of the city. Check out our guidebook! This area is safe and well-lit during the evening. It is next door to the Ramsey County Courthouse and across the street from the City of St. Paul’s Police Station.
  • This small but trendy and clean apartment was a perfect place to stay for our short trip to the cities. With an efficient space and comfy futon, it was the perfect location for our concert at Xcel Energy Center.

The 3rd floor of our home is a clean, quiet and charming unit. The home is over 100 years old, so you can expect some quirkiness that an old Victorian home offers. Our home is very centrally located and within walking distance to downtown Minneapolis. We are 8 blocks from the Convention Center & 0.7/mile from the lightrail. US Bank Stadium is less than a mile away, as well as Target Field, Uptown, downtown nightclubs, and the Mississippi River.
Each of our guest rooms is sun filled with a comfy queen size bed. In warmer summer months, we have a window AC unit available for use, as well as a fan. In winter months, extra blankets are available. Included in your stay is access to gigabit internet (50 times faster than most others).
We are within less than a mile and within walking distance to downtown, US Bank Stadium, Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Children's Hospital, HCMC, and the Convention Center. We are just a couple miles from the center of the University of Minnesota, Uptown, Lake Calhoun, Lake Harriet, Lake of the Isles, and Lake Nokomis. We love good food, so we can also point you in the direction of local eating hot spots. We love our neighborhood. So much so, that we bought another home right across the street where we are raising our three daughters. We appreciate its diversity and vibrancy and how centrally located it is to the entire metro!! Because we are in the heart of the city, we get to experience people from broad cultural and economic backgrounds in a densely populated area. Our neighborhood, Ventura Village, is a part of the most diverse neighborhood in the entire country with over 100 languages spoken here! There are restaurants, healthcare buildings, old Victorian homes, apartment buildings, and non-profit organizations. We consider it a privilege to live here, but it being in the heart of the city is not for everyone. During your stay, you may encounter lingering people panhandling. If this makes you feel uncomfortable, we may not be the place for you. Obviously, you will want to exercise "street smarts" as you would in any major metropolitan area. If you are looking for a quieter stay in the Twin Cities, you may prefer looking outside of our neighborhood. But we hope you won't. :)
  • enjoy a private room with shared spaces. good distance from downtown and very clean.

  • Although I didn't meet Amy and Josh in person, I had a great stay, and their instructions were very clear. The bed was comfy and the place was clean. Also, even though it was -2 degrees outside, I had no issues staying warm inside. There are heaters in the bathroom, living room, and bedrooms that can be adjusted. Would definitely stay here again!

15 MIN to downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis. Minnehaha falls is down the road. Airport & light rail close by. Library, Target, Chipotle, Panera are 200 yards from house. Eateries and bars all around. Wells Fargo and other banks 500 yards down the road. Private and free Free parking. Mini Refrigerator
This bedroom is located in the finished basement of my duplex. Cosy, private. You do have about 10 steps that you need to walk down. No elevator. The room is set up for 2 people to share 1 bed. Airbeds have to be requested 48 hrs. prior to arrival. Censor lights around the house, and Keypad locks present.
Highland Park is centrally located in the Twin Cities and yet boasts it’s own small-town feel. The Village, a shopping district with plenty of restaurants, boutiques, and beautiful public gardens, is in the heart of the Highland Park neighborhood. Families thrive on the recreational opportunities with miles of park land, golf, little league, a movie theater and a newly renovated park pavilion. Walking quaint, tree lined streets to kindergarten or graduate school, the public library or church, or to The Village for its annual 3 day festival, Highlandfest, there's something for everyone to enjoy in Highland Park.
  • Gut gelegen, und praktisch. Chitra hatte mir bereits den Türcode geschickt, sodass ich einfach nur noch reingehen musste, super flexibler Check in dadurch.

  • Quiet place, nice neighborhood. Always a good place to spend the night.

    Christina2017-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Chitra's accommodations were excellent! The room is very spacious and warm, and we had been provided with extra blankets just in case. I had mentioned to my travel partner that because of the desk provided and the quiet of the area, I would definitely consider coming back for a writing retreat! Once we had arrived, Chitra had made sure to check in with us to make sure everything was to our liking - I definitely feel lucky with this find of an airbnb. There was a little hiccup arranging the check out time but Chitra and her son went out of their way to allow us a late check out to the best of their abilities, of which I am entirely grateful. Would recommend to anyone who needs a restful, quaint place to stay while in the area.

This cozy studio is the perfect place to relax, unwind & enjoy simple accommodations with a warm, "forest" theme. The studio offers everything you'd need. Hi speed WiFi, Hulu & Netflix, a full kitchen, plenty of drawer/closet space, a very comfortable queen bed, a breakfast bar, coffee table that doubles as a desk, and a PRIME location near restaurants, bars, & shops, with convenient public transit access on "high frequency" routes. On-site laundry and off-street parking round it out.
Coffee table doubles as a desk. This home is powered by 100% wind energy via Xcel's WindSource.
Fantastic location in "Uptown" Minneapolis. This location is perfectly situated between downtown Minneapolis and "Calhoun Square," the main shopping area of uptown. Nearby, there are great restaurants, bars & coffee shops, as well as a convenience store (1 block) & community Co-op grocery store (2 blocks). Some of my favorites (within 4 blocks): The Lowry: trendy bar/restaurant but not too upscale. Great HH. Liquor Lyle's: Classic hole-in-the-wall bar. Mortimer's: Great place for some Foosball & darts. The Wedge: Community co-op with an organic & local focus. Caffetto Coffee: A MPLS staple. Burch Steak & Pizza: Upscale, great food. Bradstreet Crafthouse: "Speakeasy" atmosphere. Sebastian Joe's: One of the most famous ice cream cafes. Walk-Bike Score: Walk: 92 (Walker's Paradise). Transit: 62 (Good Transit). Bike: 86 (Very Bikeable). Distances to: Lake of the Isles (0.6 miles) Loring Park & Walker Arts Center (0.6 miles) Downtown Minneapolis (1.5 miles) Calhoun Square, uptown (1 mile)
  • Great location. Nice place. Quiet neighborhood. Check-in and check out were very simple. Communication was great. Overall a great experience.

  • A perfect little room close to everything you need for a great stay in Minneapolis. Would definitely stay again!

    Amy2017-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and Matt made the whole experience extremely easy. Only downsides as others have noted - some cleaning issues, loud neighbors and a bright motion sensor light that turns on when you roll over. Aside from these, it's a great home base for exploring a wonderful neighborhood and city.

    Kory2017-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing space at a great value. I used to live in Uptown and so when I come to the city, I prefer to stay in the heart of things, rather than at a hotel where I’d have to drive everywhere. Matt’s place is very clean and pleasant in a unique building and offers all the amenities a visitor could need while also being within walking distance of all the bars, restaurants and shops that make Uptown special. What a great stay - I would definitely rent this space again next time I’m in town.

    Kate2018-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • Good value for an overnight in Minneapolis.

    Matt2018-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • A charming little apartment and a great starting point for exploring Uptown and the rest of the area--easy access to highways and downtown, but with tons of options within walking distance. Everything in the apartment was clean and nice, and very comfortable. Street parking was in short supply so I was glad of the driveway option. The location was quiet enough for me, but be aware that this studio is on the first floor so there's some noise both from neighbors walking around overhead and from others going up and down the back stairs of the building. Overall, highly recommended!

    Trina2017-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful cozy nook in the heart of Uptown. Great location. Great host. Great price. Matt’s place was extremely clean and everything was communicated perfectly. Will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Minneapolis.

  • Amazing! Shannon and Christian are awesome hosts! The house is beautiful, I had my own space, with a decent best and good mattress, the bathroom was large and had a lovely shower. The place was spotless, and I had use of the kitchen and longe, it was like home from home! The location is perfect, with downtown being a brisk 30 - 40 min walk, and even some good places to eat in a 20 min walk, and if you’re done walking, and Uber from downtown was about 7 - 10 bucks (dependent on time) I high suggest a stay!

  • I have nothing negative to say about this place. The hosts were extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with. They were also welcoming and made us feel at home. The place was comfortable and clean. They had lots of thoughtful touches in terms of amenities. Location was great. I would recommend without hesitation.

  • Shannon and Christian provided a lovely stay in the cities for us! The location was perfect for us to walk to the Target Center and other downtown places. Shannon was very friendly, and nice, simple touches such as a bowl of candy on the dresser, toiletries in the bathroom, and suggestions of where to eat nearby really made the stay comforting. Their home was beautiful, and the guest bedroom and bathroom were perfect. Thanks again to Shannon and Christian for making our stay wonderful

    Monica2017-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • Shannon and Christian were fantastic hosts and their home is very clean with a lot of amenities. I would definitely recommend if your attending a U of M game because it is within walking distance of the stadium, and very close to all of the downtown attractions.

    Michael2018-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is 100% accurate to the pictures and the location is great! My only concern is that the shower was quite filthy. Although the rest of the apartment seemed to be spotless, seeing subpar cleaning of the tub made me question if the apartment is really as clean as it looks. Also, 85% of the towels have makeup stains on them.

  • I really enjoyed my stay with Lyric! I was impressed at how quickly they were able to get back to me when I had any questions. The place looked just like the pictures (if not better) and the location is so convenient. My friends and I walked around the area and felt that a lot of places were walking distance. If you want to check out other spots such as Mall of America or Uptown, you can take the train or a quick Lyft. I would definitely recommend Lyric to my friends/family and would stay at their apartments in the future.

Entire upstairs suite with private entrance with private bath. Full sized bed, flat screen television, work space with WIFI.
It’s the upper level of our house, the whole width and length of the house. Contains full sized bed, work space area, seating and a flat screen TV. There is no access to the our downstairs kitchen but upstairs we have provided a microwave, Keurig coffee maker and mini fridge. There is no access to laundry. Owners live downstairs, but the house is very well insulated and sound does not travel well between floors.
Quiet street (because one block away is a park, so it's not a through street), with easy on street parking. Easy access to Highway 100 (1/2 mile away) and easy access to bus mass transit.
  • Noel’s place was perfect for me, I enjoyed the autonomy of having a private entrance since I often came in fairly late in the evening. The deck was a great feature, having a private bathroom is a huge bonus and the air conditioning kept me super comfortable. Noel was an easygoing and accommodating host and check in was seamless. I would definitely stay again!

    Jennifer2018-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Nice and clean room but I always look at the details that makes it better. The room has it's own temperature control, soft towels and a lovely deck, is a big room but cozy. Noel will help and accommodate any of your needs!

    Luis2018-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • A unique atmosphere easily accessible. Parking in the driveway was certainly a plus. Very clean. Private.

    Ted2018-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • I was in town for a conference that was ten minutes away. Noël’s place was with in my budget and a good traveling distance to where the conference was.

    Emilia2018-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Noel's airbnb is perfect for my needs. The price is agreeable, and the value is excellent. It is comfortable, quiet, and very clean. Noel supplies Keurig coffee, bottled water, and excellent large, fluffy towels (vitally important for any traveler, just ask Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect). The private deck is spacious, with a pleasant view of the family's garden. While you can hear some footsteps and occasional speech from Noel's living area below, sound does not travel well between the floors, especially in the bedroom area. I slept quite well, with no disturbance. The quiet residential neighborhood is relaxing, and the location is ideal for getting around the northwest Robbinsdale/Minneapolis area. Noel herself is an experienced, professional host and a most pleasant person. In sum, I'm delighted to say that everything exceeded my expectations. This location will be my first choice for my visits here from now on.

    Robert2018-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • The room is cozy, clean, and very spacious. Private bathroom with shower/tub is nice and clean. The room has been finished/remodeled recently, it has a thermostat for the second floor, along with skylights. Private entrance in the back is very convenient. All in all, one of the more comfortable and relaxing rooms I’ve rented and would Definitely stay here again.

Located in Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. NE Minneapolis is home to 14 craft breweries, including 56 Brewing where we are part owners (ask us about the brew scene). Brand new 100% remodeled. 1 bedroom plus den. Full kitchen, fresh bathroom, brand new king size bed and linens. Queen bed in den. TV with Roku, Netflix, WiFi etc.
In the past decades, Northeast has developed an artist community. Galleries and studios now occupy many historic industrial buildings including the Northrup King Building. The structure started in 1917 for the Northrup-King & Co. seed company and finally comprised 10 interconnected buildings that shipped seeds across the United States. Now, it is the home of over 135 tenants, including 100 artists and including small business and nonprofit organizations. Other buildings with large numbers of art and design related tenants include the Grain Belt Brewery complex, the California Building, Thorp Building, the 2010 Artblok, and the Casket Arts Building. Another notable arts building is on Quincy Street, the Q'arma Building, which houses Altered Esthetics, an art gallery that works to sustain the historical role of artists as a true voice of society through exhibits and special programs. The gallery hosts new art shows each month with themes as varied as Day of the Dead, Video Game Art, and The Art of Service. Local and international artists alike compete for space in the juried and non-juried artistic shows. The recent arts influence is expressed by "Art-A-Whirl", an art crawl the third week of May that has existed for 18 years, encompassing 400 art studios.[9] The Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association (or NEMAA), which runs Art-A-Whirl, was instrumental in establishing the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District, bounded by Central Avenue, Broadway, the Mississippi River and 26th Avenue. This geographic area was officially recognized as the Arts District by declaration of the City of Minneapolis in 2003. In performing arts, the Ritz Theater, on 13th Avenue Northeast, is home to Ballet of the Dolls and many other arts organizations and community events. The historic venue, renovated in 2006, has brought life to the 13th Avenue Business District and seen the addition of many shops and restaurants since its renovation.

Close to Uptown, easy access to downtown, beautiful parks, lots of great restaurants, shops & bars, this chic studio has a private entry with a small kitchenette. The quirky and modern decor will make you feel right at home. BIKES CAN BE PROVIDED! In walking distance, you'll find beautiful old homes, trendy restaurants, old school diners, a brewery, arcade bar, and much more. Downtown is a quick bike ride away through calm leafy side streets and protected bike lanes, or a single seat bus ride!
Artistically refreshed and fully furnished with everything you'll need, this studio provides a great space for visitors to relax and live like a local. Located near all the action, but still on a quiet street, our neighborhood provides the best of both worlds and is a great way to experience Minneapolis.
We live in the greater Uptown/LynLake part of Minneapolis. This is a trendy neighborhood with lots of shops, bars, restaurants, and nightlife. It is also very close to the Chain of Lakes. While our house is in walking distance to all of these amenities, and just around the corner from more shops and restaurants, we live on a quiet and peaceful tree lined street.
  • Great place in a great neighborhood. The hosts were really communicative. Brought me an extra blanket. Nice place. I would stay here again.

Basement bedroom in newly built home in quiet neighborhood. Semi-private bathroom with full sized bathtub. Washer & dryer with laundry soap in bathroom. We offer a Keurig with K-Cups, snacks and bottled water to our guests. You have access to our kitchen, theater room, Hulu and Comcast Cable. Our pets are exceptionally friendly and well behaved. We are looking forward to offer exceptional hosting to you! Come stay with us!
Guest are free to use the theater room, kitchen, dining room & great room.
We are in a quiet neighborhood, but less than a mile from downtown Crystal with shopping & restaurants.
  • Tracy and Mike have a lovely home filled with character and a menagerie of adorable animals (dogs and a cuddly cat). During our stay we had the whole basement pretty much to ourselves, which included a private bedroom, bathroom, and a home theater (we used it often for movie nights!). We cooked almost all of our meals in the kitchen (gorgeous and functional) and we had plenty of space to put our groceries in two separate fridges in the basement (a mini one in the bedroom and a full sized fridge in a closet by the movie theater room). In addition, our car fit easily in the drive way, so we didn't have to worry about parking. The neighborhood is safe and suburban, with the occasional train to be heard. All in all it was a great experience for a very affordable price, with two lovely people as hosts who were both kind and easy to talk to.

    Siri2017-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great Host!

    Bhavya2018-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Very cozy place and with all the extras, it was just an amazing place to stay. Hosts are really nice couple who respected me when I needed my own time and space. Thank you very much, Tracey and Mike.

    Mei-Chun2018-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfortable space and lots of 'extras'.., I loved the coffee maker and granola bars! Very comfortable bedroom and bathroom. If you're going to use Uber or Lyft be aware that they have a very difficult time finding the location.

    Michael2017-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • This was a perfect place to stay for me. Location: I did not need to be in the middle of the city nor close to any transit. I recommend having a car. There is an occasional train, but I only heard it when I was checking out. Hosts: Tracy and Mike were great. I am more of a private person and they respected that. I had only 1 request during my stay and they obliged quickly. They have a lot of dogs and 1 cat. I have children that are allergic so I stayed away from the pets and they respected that as well! Amenities: Wow. They thought of everything. Movie theater room with projector. Netflix, Amazon Alexa (I believe), Satellite tv in the room, keurig coffee, bottles of water, snacks, soup, disposable coffee cups with lids, popcorn. Everything was clean. Clean bedroom, bathroom, and living spaces. If I am in the area, this is the only place I would stay!

    Josh2017-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • As advertised and a good experience. Would be pleased to return.

    John2018-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • There are not enough stars to rate my stay with Tracey and Mike. The room was very clean with a coffee maker, mini fridge, iron, TV w/cable, and a very comfy bed. They have a Theater Room in the basement by the room with a ginormous screen. The pretty much have whatever you need. As for Tracey and Mike, there should be a statue outside the AirBnB office of them with a plaque that reads "Greatest Hosts in the Universe." Just saying.

We have reinvented the traditional Bed & Breakfast by catering to the needs of the modern traveler. The mansion provides luxury accommodations for all types of stays including business travel, romantic vacations, cross-country overnights, special occasions, and corporate retreats. The mansion is immaculately restored to preserve its architectural significance, along with modern amenities. Parking & Hot Tub available for additional fee.
Inspired by John Bradstreet- please look him up! This arts & crafts style bedroom with private bath is one of a kind! The main mansion encompasses thousands of square feet of common area including a formal dining room, grand drawing room, and library, all of which we encourage our guests to enjoy. The estate also houses an original carriage house, porches around the house, and three unique gardens.
By far the best neighborhood in Minneapolis. Loring Park neighborhood. The center of the city. Walk everywhere.
  • Great place to stay, bonus was that breakfast was included. Very beautiful mansion in an upcoming neighborhood. Some of the houses in the neighbourhood are low income and so one are upscale condos, very diversified. Walker museum it's very close.

  • AJ and his beautiful, magical mansion transcends visitors to a time of past, when quality and hospitality were customary, and when standards were higher. AJ was incredibly accommodating, gracious, friendly, and approachable. I missed seeing Madonna the Great Dane, but that's for next time! AJ went above and beyond being a consummate host. The mansion itself is INCREDIBLE! I wish I could have stayed longer. I felt like a princess up in my room even though it was once the servant's quarters. =-D You can feel the warmth of the history of the home and the neighborhood, and the love and attention to detail that has gone into the renovation. What an experience. I cannot wait to bring back my family and friends and I most certainly encourage any and all to stay here when in Minneapolis. This is by far the best value for my money in my life to date. The mansion sets the bar! I would give it 10 stars if I could! What a treat! Infinite thanks to AJ!!

  • The room was bigger and nicer than the photos. There were several unexpected extras--some snacks and drinks left for me in my room, a few beverages in the fridge, a lift to my meeting in the on-site taxi (you have to ride in it to understand what a treat that was.) Whenever I needed anything a simple text to AJ received an immediate, helpful response. Thanks for a great stay!

My place is cozy and warm and in a nice, quiet, safe neighborhood. It is easy to find off of interstate 35. It is 10 minutes from downtown Minneapolis, 15 minutes from downtown St. Paul, 20 minutes from the Mall of America, and 25 minutes from the airport. There are also many parks, lakes, trails, etc. nearby.
Guests get the large main floor bedroom and private bath and generally have the whole floor to themselves - especially at night so you can walk to the bathroom in...whatever you wear to bed without having to worry about me (basement) or other Airbnb guests (2nd level). All have our own bathrooms and showers.
Small, safe, clean, quiet community bordering Minneapolis, which has nightlife, daytime activities and shopping.

My place is close to green space--just four blocks to the gorgeous Victory Memorial Parkway. You’ll love my place because of how accessible highways are to get to all parts of the Twin Cities. I'm a ~10 minute drive to downtown Minneapolis. I'm about 25 minutes by car to the MSP airport and Paisley Park. I live in a very residential neighborhood, there aren't coffee shops or grocery options within walking distance. I love hosting, and meeting guests from all walks of life!
I love the energy of this room! It's at the front of the house, on the main floor, and right off the living room. It has a super comfortable king sized bed with memory foam topper. The unconventional piece is that the doors are folding doors, with curtains for privacy and light. You're on the main floor of my home, and will be sharing the guest bathroom with other guests if the other room on the main floor is booked.
My neighborhood is very residential--we're in the Cleveland neighborhood of Minneapolis. I love my neighborhood for it's diversity, history, and proximity to nature and all that the Twin Cities have to offer. You're in a big metropolitan area, but guests often comment how quiet it is. You may hear siren traffic, as we're very close to North Memorial hospital, and not far from a few major thoroughfares throughout the city. In the warmer months, the kids that live on my block play outside, and neighbors may have a birthday party or football event. You may hear a loud car or two passing through, even at night. All a part of living in the city!
  • The rooms were spotless, Elise was always reachable and contact was super easy! Location was close to downtown and the mall (both with the car), neighborhood was quiet and the house is a real gem! We can only recommend Elise’s place and definitely would stay here again!

  • Elise is a great host and we enjoyed her place a lot! Her house is easy to get to from downtown with Bus 19, and the Blue Line to/from the airport. Her place was one of the best I stayed so far, so I definitely recommend it!

  • Elise had everything I might have needed if I forgot something at home. Super friendly and helpful with recommendations around town. Would stay again.

  • I didn’t meet Elise in person but she was very sweet when we were communicating about our visit. The house was spotless. Our room was perfect and the bed was comfortable. She had little notes everywhere which made it very easy to find a glass of water in the middle of the night. Only thing that wasn’t ideal was the height of the shower since my boyfriend is 6’4”. But that was just a small issue. The water pressure and temp made up for it. I would definitely recommend Elise’s place.

  • The description of Andrea's house was very accurate. Andrea herself was very nice, along with being helpful and patient when I arrived late at night.

  • Excellent experience overall. Andrea is an outstanding communicator and works hard to be accommodating and hospitable. Great value for a sparkling clean room and bathroom. Really can't ask for anything more. 5 stars for both the host and the unit itself.

Stephanie and Barry are great hosts! Their house and garden is beautiful and very stylish. Hanging out in the garden, enjoying the fantastic view of StPaul was great fun. The neighbourhood is lovely, in walking distance there is a huge park. We were invited for a Sunday breakfast! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience! Hilde

Es war schön bei Keith, wir hatten den ganzen unteren Bereich und konnten uns frei Bewegen. Die Küche hatten wir mitbenutzen dürfen und wir waren mit der Unterkunft zufrieden. Kann sie nur weiter empfehlen.
