I'm really happy I booked this tour with Yaqui. She took me to parts of Paris I would have never known about nor explored. She is friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and a great guide. I felt very inspired after spending time with her exploring Africa in Paris. If you want to get even more out of the tour with Yaqui, I recommend you buy her book Africa in Paris a few weeks before you arrive in Paris, so that you can understand even more about what you're seeing on the tour. It's clear that Yaqui really cares about all of her guests.

This experience was by far, without a doubt, the best part of my trip to Paris. Yaqui has an incredible personality and is doing so much fantastic work with the African communities of Paris. It was so beautiful to get to experience the rich Afro-Parisian fashion, art, and cuisine. It's a side of Paris that isn't in the mainstream, so it is truly a unique and once in a lifetime experience. The unique handmade pieces at the boutiques we went to were so beautiful, the restaurants we went to had the best food and snacks I had anywhere in Paris, and the culture of the African district was so enriching to experience firsthand. I feel like I have made a lifetime friend, and will absolutely come back to Paris just for this. Skip the Eiffel Tower and get this experience with the lovely Yaqui!
