Was ihr unternehmen werdet

If you want to see a unique side of Stockholm and learn kickboxing from a black belt then this experience is for you!

There is absolutely no need for previous kickboxing and fitness experience, this class is inclusive of all abilities and bodies! Most of the work will be done by time so you go at your own pace.

We will meet at Hornstull metro station and walk to Tantolunden Park together, we will go to a quiet spot so we can train in peace whilst overlooking the water.

The first half of the class will be Kickboxing focused where I will break down the moves and guide you through punches and kicks so you can release any frustration, gain confidence and earn those cinnamon buns in the city later!

The second half of the class will be a HIIT (high intensity) workout which we will do all together.

At the end of the class we will do a stretch and I can answer any questions and give you insider tips about what to do in Stockholm. I will also bring a piece of fruit for you all to recharge after a good workout.

We will stay in the same spot so you can safely leave your belongings while we train. Please wear comfortable workout clothes and bring a bottle of water with you. If you aren’t uncomfortable with sitting on the grass for e.g. sit ups or a stretch, then please bring a towel/scarf/t shirt to lay down.

I’m Steph, I competed in Tae Kwon Do and Kickboxing for 10 years and have been teaching since 2010. I competed for England and Chile and have taught from age 4 to age 64. I love travelling and sport and that’s where I got the idea to combine the two and provide a unique experience in Stockholm. I see a true value in trying new sports and I understand that kickboxing can sometimes be seen as challenging or scary so I want to make it accessible for all.

As well as kickboxing, I train in running, fitness, HIIT, weight lifting, swimming, hiking, basically anything active I’m interested in and want to help you reach that endorphin high during your time in Stockholm!

Wo ihr sein werdet

Tantolunden park on Södermalm - we will meet at Hornstull metro and walk there together. It is in the south of the city and you can easily walk/bus/metro or electric scooter to get there. I will wait outside the 7-Eleven supermarket (Hornsbruksgatan 28) for you all, so please leave via the small shopping centre and come all the way up to the main road if you arrive by metro.

It was super fun doing the kickboxing with Stephanie. I haven't done any kickboxing before and she really tailored the class for us! It was really amazing to have a private lesson with a taekwondo black belt instructor. Super friendly teacher and engaging class. Highly recommend.

If you are worried about Covid, the pads are thoroughly cleaned before and afternoon and I ask all guests to use hand sanitizer before and after the class. You will only have contact with the pads, not each other. Please do not come if you have any symptoms.
