This is the easier trip! Join a small group and kayak to Kailua Bay’s near-shore destinations. Visit Flat Island, a fossilized coral bed, and find the nesting sea-birds that these islands are protected for. The Koʻolau Mountain Range and dormant volcanoes create a stunning back drop from this tiny vantage in the sea. The Hawaiian Green Sea-Turtle makes these waters its home and will breach the surface for a breath before meandering back for a snack on the ocean vegetation. Your package includes a gear pass, so go back to the beach for some free time with free gear.

First time kayaking. Loved it. I was nervous in the water, but Brian helped give a sense of security. He knew what he was doing and where he was taking us. He had fun stories and great stories of the history of the island. He was willing to let those of us that wanted to be adventurous be so, and those that didn't want to, go a more cautious route.

This was a beautiful day out. Chad was a great guide and gave lots of details about the area's history. There was plenty of equipment to hire and after kayaking, we used our lunch vouchers to get sandwiches to take with us to the beach. I'd highly recommend this experience, with pick up and drop off included, this whole day adventure is well worth the money!

Even though it was a very, very windy day that made kayaking out difficult, the guides were encouraging and helpful where necessary. Cody, Riki, Jay, and other staff were friendly and knowledge. The transportation to and from waikiki was timely, clean, and comfortable.

We came with two adults and two teens.
The positives include the host’s friendliness and quick problem-solving. The scenery on the water and at the coral island was good. After the initial confusion of start time, the host took our family alone in a small group and beat the traffic. That was nice. It was our first time trying kayak surfing. The host also introduced us to a quiet tide pool of water on the island. He also offered to take photos on his iPhone and airdropped to us.
Suggestions for other guests.
1. Arrive on time but be prepared to wait for other guests. They will make up by extending the end time.
2. Don’t schedule your next appointment too tight. Leave about 1-2 hours slack to allow running overs and a relaxed lunch. The area is best enjoyed in a leisure way. We rushed our host due to our tight schedule 1 hour drive away.
3. Bring your own waterproof cameras or cases. Photography is not included in the experience. Our host kindly offered to take photos for us for free but the photos turned out foggy. It’s not his fault. I should have come prepared.
4. Do a little bit of research on the area before hand and ask specific questions. This would help you to make the experience feel more special.
You will enjoy the tour if you arrive on time, allow a time buffer in the end, bring waterproof cameras, and research before hand.
