I live in Choeng Doi, just outside of Chiang Mai on a beautiful property surrounded by naturally flowing stream and rice fields. While in a quiet rural setting it is close distance to urban facilities, restaurants, local markets, and temples.

Yoga Retreat in Nature

1. We can start our day with 30 to 60 min of morning mindful walking and guided sitting meditation.
2. Afterward we’ll explore our neighbor’s rice field and learn about the rice cycle
3. Then we will practice 1 hour of morning yoga in my studio or in our beautiful garden which is big enough to hold 20 people). I will adapt to your level or eventual limitations.
4. After yoga practice, we will share a delicious lunch that I prepare myself.
5. Afterward you can have a bike ride to explore Wat Phra That Doi Saket Temple : Breathtaking temple! (10 min bike from our property) and the very nice and authentic local market nearby
6. You could go for a tea or cup of coffee in the beautiful garden at the BaanPa's Cafe.
7. At 4.00 pm we can practice mindfulness and meditation. It’s optional.
8. In the afternoon at 5pm we will do our evening practice, a more relaxing style of yoga called Restorative Yoga.

I teach Vinyasa Yoga, Power Flow, and Gentle Therapeutic. Also, specialize sessions in restorative yoga, yoga therapy, and Chair yoga for Healing & Strength. I have a love for making my classes inclusive for everyone can join, and while they are challenging, I make them safe and fun.

Wo ihr sein werdet

1. We will practice yoga on our beautiful property in Choeng Doi, close to Chiang Mai city. We can practice in the garden or in my yoga studio.
Visit our neighbor rice fields.
2. Gorgeous Wat Phra That Doi Saket Temple : Breathtaking temple! It is an authentic temple not very touristy.
3. Tea or Coffee in the beautiful garden at the BaanPa's Cafe.
4. Mindfulness and meditation.
5. Yoga again on our property.
6. Dinner nearby ( If you want it)

This was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Amori is a gracious host. She arranged transportation for me which was very helpful. Such a nice change of pace from the city. I spent the day: 3 yoga practices (wow), authentic local cuisine prepared by her Mother, mindful walking, and guided meditation. I got a sense of community here. Practicing chair yoga with a senior group listening to Amori guide us in both English and Thai is one of the coolest experiences I've had. Also, hearing her tell me I was flexible meant a lot. She was an awesome instructor, observing my abilities and adapting the practice to my level. The visit to the temple (which you can see from her home) allowed an opportunity to ask questions and gain more understanding of the culture. Walking around the rice field was nice too. I highly recommend this experience. Thank you Amori!

「適合所有人」不管你是否做過瑜珈靜坐,Amori深入淺出的教學方式讓你能快速的漸入佳境。我很幸運地成為這次唯一一位報名者,Amori特別設計針對我下背疼痛的瑜珈課程,這些體位很多我還真的第一次做。自己彷如一張白紙一樣的學習。 而會讓我報名參加的主要原因是,慢步靜坐活動,這是我從未所聞,很好奇這樣的方法。Amori很有耐心的帶領我進入緩慢的節奏,並引導我如何行走。我特別喜歡在花園的木架上慢步,木架讓我更能抓到平衡感,另外下午走在草地上的感官知覺也很特別。她還會全程錄影唷,記錄你學習的過程,不用特別在拿手機出來拍攝。 午餐是她媽媽親手料理的美食,還有精心擺盤的水果盤,看得到他們小細節都藏有用心。 如果不敢吃辣可以先提醒唷,要不然泰國料理辣味真的很難駕馭。 午飯後,Amori會開車帶我們去參觀當地的兩座寺廟,還有市場(時間太緊迫所以我取消市場部分)宏偉的神尊非常奪目。最厲害的是Amori隨時幫你記錄拍照,感覺像隨身的攝影師,而且她真的拍得不輸給專業攝影師唷。除此之外,她會介紹泰國佛教的拜拜方式,男女各有不同,還有她對於施與受的個人觀點。 我很喜歡和她聊天,就像鄰居大姐姐給你人生建議,我喜歡她很簡單不貪心做事認真,又熱心推廣瑜珈給當地銀髮族。在她身上我找到我想要成為的樣子。 最後,我搭了她哥哥的順風車回到城市,很謝謝她們家人的熱心。也謝謝你一整天的教學和陪伴,在2019年有一個美好又平靜地結尾。

This is a rare “not for money” experience. You get a very personal treatment, get to share life stories, get a tailored education to address your current state. Non-judgmental and very supportive, Amori helped me relax, reconnect with myself and nature around, and learn about 6 stages of walking meditation in practice. I highly recommend this experience for anyone who’s looking for a gentle touch, an ease into meditation and yoga 💙 Oh, and there’s a bonus - videos of your yoga and meditation practices. Enjoy 🧘‍♂️

Amori was an excellent host, yoga and guided meditation instructor. At all times she was very aware of where I was at in my practice and met me just slightly beyond my comfort level in yoga ensuring we didn't go too far beyond where I should - which was good because she taylored the practices focusing primarily on my more "tough areas" so to speak. Also, the area of her studio is filled with natural beauty; birds chirped to us all day and the landscape was lush and relaxing. The food was delicious as well. 👌 This was definitely a memorable experience balanced with a healthy mix of culture and rejuvenation and an experience I would absolutely recommend. Thanks Amori!

It’s quite an experience if you do not mind a bit of traveling. Amori created some yoga movements focusing a lot on my back problem, which is so thoughtful of her. ;)
