We'll meet in our garden kitchen in the morning and bicycle our way to the city known fresh markets in the morning. This market is up and running since 04:00am! We'll learn about the seasonal findings and the freshest ingredients available in Chiangmai. Local items that Thais really do eat. Some ingredients that even the younger generation Thais are slowly forgetting. We want to carry on this tradition of seasonal finding to reduce our carbon footprints in our ecosystem and learn to consume various food our nature has to offer. Later, we will come back to our garden kitchen and learn to cook the 4 simple, yet delicate dishes! Vegetables Spring Rolls, Khao Soi the Northern Noodles from scratch, Papaya Salad or Mango Salad (depending on the season), and Pad Krapow; Stir-fried Thai basil with chilli and meat/tofu or mushroom. We will be cooking in a small group, so you're welcome to bring any questions you have about Thai food or cultures that you're curious about. We'll be having a delightful lunch together at the end of the class.
