Our sailing experience begins at Monroe Harbor right in downtown Chicago. Guests will enjoy a captained cruise on our sailing yacht, a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 37. We will cast off and motor out to Lake Michigan where we will set sail to a favorable course. Bring your favorite food and drinks, listen to music, relax, and take in the views of our city’s iconic buildings from the lakefront. The courageous can try their hand at the helm and rigging the sails-Captain Greg is a volunteer sailing instructor for a local non-profit and enjoys sharing his knowledge. On hot days be sure to bring a bathing suit to swim in the lake to cool off. Please feel free to inquire about custom bookings. We have hosted engagements, bachelorette parties, corporate outings and many more memorable events! Things to note: Other Airbnb guests will potentially join your public booking unless you reserve the entire boat privately. There are six open spots on a first book first serve basis. We only wait 15 minutes at the dock for a late guest out of courtesy for timely guests. We only cancel for lightning and will refund everyone. If you tend to get motion/seasick, or have a hangover, take motion medication 30 minutes prior.

Kulinarische Spaziergänge durch Holland, USA
Holland Tasting Tours are walking food tours. Our group will gather at a specific meeting location and walk just over a mile total. Along the way, we will talk about the local culture, art and architecture. I will share some fun stories of Holland's past. We will stop at seven different tasting stations and guests will experience some of the unique flavors of Holland. These tastes generally constitute a meal for most people. So, it's an activity and a meal in one! Even local residents who have toured with me have been surprised at the insights I've shared and the tasty goodies they've enjoyed. It's pedestrian gourmandizing at its best! Other things to note Holland Tasting Tours are walking food tours. Please come with comfortable shoes, an appetite, a phone/camera, and appropriate dress for the weather. We will be walking just over a mile during the tour (additional walking to return to your vehicle after the tour).
Schmiede einen Silberring mit einem Silberschmied
At this time, I am requiring all guests to be fully vaccinated *and boosted* against COVID-19 by the time of their workshop and to provide proof of vaccination. In this workshop, you'll make a sterling silver ring through the silversmithing "fabrication" technique. Learn the basics of texturing metal, forming metal with mandrels and hammers, soldering (yes, you'll play with fire!), and decorative finishing and leave with a beautiful handmade ring that will last a lifetime! This is not just some craft project. You will be working on the same tools that I use myself as a professional silversmith and your ring will be professional quality. It's always a fun evening! You'll be floored by what you can create! Other things to note: You will get plenty of ideas for rings during the class. I also encourage you to look at the photos in this experience as well as guest photos for ideas!
Lifestyle-City-Fotoshooting/Tour
Standing in front of a camera can be quite intimidating. With experience both in front of and behind the lens, I will always do my best to help you capture the best natural travel photos in the city of Chicago. Worried about how you'll look? Don't be! I will always show you the photos before moving forward. During this experience I will not only help you receive beautiful photos but I will also try to teach you insight about modeling and photography. This experience will be ideal for individuals who are looking for a city tour but would also love to capture some scenic travel and portrait images. I love to build positive connections with others, so this is great for someone who wants to be more engaged and collaborative with their guide. I will be using a Sony DSLR to capture your candid and lifestyle moments. This includes both portraits and full body shots. If you would like to learn more about the editing process or a photographer's guides, let me know and I am more than happy to share my knowledge. You will select 3 images for edits & receive all unedited photos (usually 250+). Editing does not include body manipulation, but can be requested for an additional charge. If you do not see a time that works for you on the calendar, please send me a message! I do accept larger parties! This is NOT a private photoshoot unless it is booked as a private session.

Spaziergang mit Ziegen
We will meet at my homestead in the deep, lush forests of Northern Michigan. First, there will be an informative time and introduction to the goats and the lifestyle of keeping them. Next, we will then join the goats, on foot, as we venture out onto the surrounding trails through the forest scape . There will be time and space to observe and interact with the goats as they walk along with us, eat and browse the greenery available. As we progress down the cleared paths there will time for more Q&A, an offering of some type of storytelling, poetry, history of goats or nature wisdom transmission from Nicole to guests. There will also be at least a brief time for noble silence, a time quiet for simple reflection and enjoyment of the surrounding nature. Upon our return, we will celebrate and en~joy local and seasonal refreshments which highlight the goats contribution to humans through their delicious milk. We serve you goat milk yogurt, local fruit and honey and locally made sourdough bread with goat cheese. We sip on either hot or iced organic teas, depending on the temps outside. During this time we discuss the food and also share stories of life, guests and hosts alike.
Segeln auf dem Lake Michigan
The trip starts with pleasant ride through the center of town in Saugatuck MI on the Kalamazoo river. The river then spills out onto Lake Michigan where patrons can assist with raising and setting sails. We then catch the wind and head up the beautiful dune lined coast. Time to enjoy the natural wonder of 100 plus miles of white sands beaches, wander the deck driven only be the wind. The trip ends with a relaxing run back up river to the docks. Other things to note Sailing is a motion filled activity and guests that tend to have motion sickness should prepare in advance.

Gangster und Geister-Touren
One of the best ways to really acquaint yourself with the infamous city of Chicago is to do it from the streets, through a guided Chicago Gangster Tour or Ghost Tour, detailing the crimes, deals, and charisma that made the city what it is today. We offer a 2 for 1 deal, hosting historically-based guided tours of Chicago’s gangers AND ghost stories, right from the Chicago Loop Vice District. Other things to note Bring your camera!
Male wie Pablo Picasso in einem Park am Meer
Beginners shine here ... even if you've never held a brush, just a wineglass! This high-energy one-of-a-kind art experience will bring out your hidden bohemian self as you walk in the eccentric sandals of the most famous painter in modern art history who left a lasting legacy! You'll arrive at the destination at North Park (a scenic inlet on Lake Michigan under a pavilion at picnic tables). Please arrive with an open mind about what "real" art is and a hunger to learn more about Picasso. Jackie tells the best stories ... he was both bawdy and naughty so you'll hear all about it, intended to enhance your understanding of the artist's inspirations and passions. You'll get a personal photo of the select artwork to use as a reference and photos of his studio and greatest love / muse. I'll demonstrate his unique brush work and offer tips if you feel stuck. You'll paint on canvas. Over 21? BYOB - you're on the Wine Trail with over 40 cideries, distilleries and wineries but for Sunday morning events they won't be open yet so plan ahead. Because the stories or images may be edgy, it is not appropriate for children. Bring donuts, sandwiches, wine or anything you want. I'll provide tons of humor, all art supplies, and will take photos and text them to you on the spot!

I will have a low unsmoky bonfire prepared in advance. People get perspective, healing and tranquility by seeing beyond themselves into the Other. We will also take time out to spontaneously talk and get to know each other and enjoy the unique ecology and history of the setting. Host will share some of his own stories and songs in rare languages, and treat the moments as lifted out of time. I have done this interpersonally and through my social work for 10 years.

Entdecke Chicagos versteckte Bars
Chicago offers a lot of hidden bars for night owls. We will start the night at my favorite hidden gem in West Loop, we will spend about one hour here then head to the next bar which is an 8 minute walk. Some of the bars have secret entrances so be ready for a fun night. The bars have amazing cocktails, beers, non-alcoholic drinks, good music and a good ambiance. There are plenty of secret bars and unfortunately we cannot explore all of them in one night. However, I will share with you the location of other secret bars which you can visit later. Please be advised that drinks or food are NOT included. This is not prohibition level speakeasy tour, this is a chill bar hopping experience. I was not born in the early 1900s and don’t know anything about prohibition so don’t ask. Have a drink and relax. Please note the experience time says it lasts 3 hours but you are welcomed to stay at the bars as long as you like. If your preferred hour is fully booked, don't worry, bar fits a fair amount of people, send me a message. There are still some locations that may ask for your proof of vaccination to access the bars. Please bring it with you. A photo of your vaccination card is fine.

Our experience will last about one hour or a little longer. Other things to note If you have a larger group, please contact me for consideration of a special request or family discounts.
