The bedroom (one of two available) has original shutters, as well as curtains, a basin, an electric blanket and a trouser press.

Feather & down duvet. All bed linen is either pure Irish linen or 100% cotton.
Large bathroom with walk in shower, separate bath and heated towel-rail. Although not en-suite, you will have exclusive use of this bathroom, unless my other room is booked. In this instance, you will share the bathroom with the other guests (max 2).
There's a cosy sitting room with an open fire, desk space, WiFi and TV. Also plenty of books and board games for rainy days.

There is plenty of free off-street parking.
Guests are most welcome to enjoy the walled garden.
There is a (hard surface) tennis court, which guests may also use, although they should provide their own racquets, balls and proper shoes. 24 hours' advance notice is required for tennis court use, so that the net can be put up.

This house has been our family home since the 1920s and we are now into our fourth generation.
We have a beautiful walled garden and, in good weather, you are welcome to have breakfast in the sun and enjoy some of our delicious fruit, when available.
Home-made granola, marmalade and jams available at breakfast, which is served between 8.00am and 9.30am.
If you wish to do washing, there will be a £5 charge per load in the machine.
NB: The phone number provided for confirmed guests is a land-line and won't accept text messages.
Smoking: permitted in garden only.
Open fire: if you are the last to leave a room with an open fire, please always replace the fire-guard.
As our plumbing system is rather antiquated, please don't put anything other than loo paper in the loo.
You are kindly requested not to use the guest towels for make-up removal or other mucky tasks - wipes are provided, but please do not flush.
We will ask for a £10 cash deposit for any keys taken off the premises. When these are returned at the end of your stay, you will be refunded in full.
Please don't take food/drink upstairs.
