Spacious one-bedroom apartment located on The University of Chicago's beautiful, Gothic cathedral campus. Very safe location - campus security is located on each block between 5 p.m. and 3 a.m. Apartment is cozy, comfortable, and cost-effective!
I will be sharing my apartment. I will be staying in the living room while the guest gets the bedroom. The guest has access to the entire apartment. I will consider discounts for long term stays.
I recently re-painted the entire apartment to provider a warm, calming feel. It is comfortable and cozy! :)

Hi! I am a Ph.D. Student at The University of Chicago! I was a former social worker and educator through Teach for America.
My current coursework as a PhD student keeps me very busy. As such, I am offering a new option to people looking for a more cost-effective option. Because I am typically in my apartment in the mornings and again in the evenings, I am offering the opportunity for people to stay in my bedroom in addition to having access to the rest of the apartment for a reduced night fee of $45.
I hope this option allows people with limited budget the ability to afford a nice place to stay.
In terms of myself, I am very laid back and easy going. I enjoy preparing meals and look forward to meeting different folks from all over the country. I have lived in 5 different cities over the course of the last 10 years - Miami, DC, Dallas, Ann Arbor, and now Chicago. In addition, I have spanned multiple careers - teacher - financial consultant, clinical social worker, researcher, and now PhD student.
I feel sharing an apartment with me will be a unique experience.
