We have hosted more than 30 bookings in this apartment and this review is completely inconsistent with the others.
Of course the pictures are taken by a professional (this is even recommended by Airbnb who provide their own photographer) but the apartment is exactly as per the photos. No photo-shopping and nothing removed from the apartment after the photos were taken.
The price is consistent with other similar apartments on Airbnb in this very central location and in fact much cheaper than nearby hotels like the Radisson or Westin, and much cheaper on Airbnb than on other websites. Short term rentals generally have a minimum of one or two night stays so by definition would cost more for one month compared to a permanent apartment. Moreover, what this reviewer is not aware of is that when you rent long term apartments on other websites in Warsaw, you also have to pay one month security deposit, one month in advance, utility bills, administration costs and other charges which are never included in the quoted price, and this increases the price a lot. With our apartment these charges are all included. The only additional charge is the cleaning and security deposit. For guests staying more than one week, we also provide a complimentary cleaning service every week.
The kitchen is accurately represented in the pictures. The fridge is a standard size with four internal shelves and shelf space on the inside of the door as well, and also a freezer compartment. The sink has not had any previous complaints either and of course if you turn the tap on to full, some water might splash over the surface - just like with any sink??
Bathroom is also accurately displayed in the picture. The guest notified us of a leak in the washing machine and when we came to inspect it, we told him it was a bigger job than we expected and that a plumber would need to come the next day. It was towards the end of his stay and he said it was ok and that we could fix it when he left. So this comment is untrue.
The mattress on the bed was changed upon arrival and actually in reference to the other guest review, that one was written AFTER we replaced it for this guest. When we replaced it we also asked if it was ok and he said it was.
The name of the apartment is "Bright Apartment by Rondo ONZ" which is an accurate description. Despite that, this reviewer complained that the apartment was bright?! Nonetheless, we installed standard blinds instantly upon demand which are fitted throughout most of our apartments and nowhere else have guests had a problem with them (including one guest in another unit who has been there for 4 months and often sleeps in the day due to his work pattern).
The statement about the outlets is also untrue. Why would we tell this reviewer to call the electricity company when he doesn't speak Polish? We told him that WE would call the electricity company.
Yes we are a management company that helps apartment owners effectively manage their short term rentals. This reviewer spoke to 2 different staff members during our stay. How do we know? Because at the time we only had 2 members of staff.
We provided a complimentary cleaning service every week including change of sheets and towels. Each week we also came to ask him how things were.
This review was left by a very demanding guest and is entirely inconsistent with the other 30+ reviews we have had in this apartment alone, most of which are 5-star. It is also inconsistent with the comments from any of the other 300+ happy guests we have had at other units. Anyone who stays here or at any of our other apartments will get a warm and hospitable welcome. We are very responsive and open to guest requests because our primary concern is the comfort and well-being of our guests. If you have read this review, please also read all the other reviews we received at this and other apartments, and decide for yourself which review to believe.
