On the positive side, the apartment was very clean and the neighborhood is great. Not far from many bars, restaurants, grocery stores, eastern market and union station metro stops. In my opinion, this apartment is not suitable for renting to others. Many essential items that I am used to having in a rental apartment were not working or missing. These include: bedroom lamp not working, most of the lightbulbs in living room were out, silverware provided: 3 spoons, 2 forks and 1 knife, there were only 2 chairs that were too low for the counter and no other table or chairs for eating, no "welcome" package for the apartment, neighborhood, wifi and other instructions, no dishwasher or laundry soap, no hair dryer, bathroom totally dysfunctional: shower knob falls off, toilet can only be flushed every 10 mins as bowl takes a long time to refill, towel bar broken, bed is very soft and probably not very comfortable for most people, no ice cube trays. I had to ask 3 times for check in information and finally got it at 6:15am on day of arrival - this was unusual and a little nerve-racking. I am used to getting multiple notifications from hosts in advance of arrival. Other reviewers have called this apartment "basic", but I would consider a comfortable bed, working bedside lamp and working bathroom to be basic.
