Inside my home, you'll be very comfortable as it is located inside a MODERN building. Features include:

- 1 bedroom with QUEEN-sized bed
- Modern kitchen with gas stove

- Concierge in the day and SECURITY GUARD at night

- Access to the EXERCISE ROOM in the building

You will have full access to my home, including the WASHER and DRYER. You will also have access to the building's EXERCISE ROOM comprised of weights and modern equipment.

Keeping in contact with my guests is important to ensure their satisfaction. I prefer to communicate via mobile text messaging, iMessaging on the iPhone, or text messaging on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN).

Before check-in, I like to be in contact with my guests to coordinate arrival. I like to make sure my guests have everything they need, so I'll contact them once early in their stay. If they're staying with me for at least a week, then I'll follow up with my guests again sometime in the middle of their stay.

Before check-out, I will contact my guests to coordinate their exit and assist them in making any arrangements (e.g. taxi cab). I also greet my guests at the time of check-out to collect the key, do a quick inspection, and say goodbye.

My home is quite literally in the centre of downtown Vancouver. It's really CONVENIENT to pretty much EVERYTHING you want or need when traveling for business or pleasure. The nearest SKYTRAIN station is a 3-minute walk away!

For example, you will find nearby within 5 minute WALKING DISTANCE:

- Groceries (IGA, H-Mart, Nesters)
- Pharmacies (London Drugs, Pure Integrative, Shoppers Drug Mart)
- Coffee shops (Starbucks, Tim Horton's, Blenz, Caffe Artigiano)
- Restaurants, restaurant, restaurants!
- Robson Street shopping district
- Pacific Centre Shopping Mall
- Movie theatres (Scotiabank Theatre, The Cinematique, Vancity Theatre)
- Venues for live performances and music
- Vancouver Symphony Orchestra
- Vancouver Art Gallery
- Live professional sports, including hockey, football and soccer (10 minute walking distance)
- Bars and pubs
- Nightclubs

Also within relative walking distance are other neighborhoods, including:

- English Bay
- False Creek
- Olympic Village
- Davie
- Yaletown
- Chinatown

There is so much within a 5 minute WALKING DISTANCE. But if you want to go out farther, then there are transportation options. You will find:

- 3 nearby Skytrain stations (Vancouver City Centre, Granville, Yaletown)
- plenty of buses
- lots of taxi cabs to waive down

There are also two (2) car co-op parking lots nearby:
- Car2go parking lot nearby (2 blocks away)
- Modo parking lot downstairs in the building

With respect to PARKING, street parking on nearby Robson Street is free after 10 PM in the evening until 9 AM the next morning. Otherwise, there is plenty of pay parking either:

- in the building until midnight --> (URL HIDDEN)
- parking lot across the street --> (URL HIDDEN)
- parkade across the street --> (URL HIDDEN)
- parking lot a block away --> (URL HIDDEN)
- metered parking on the street @ CAD$2.75 per hour (as of August 2015)

I generally expect check-in to occur in the MID-AFTERNOON and check-out in the LATE-MORNING. If you're looking for something different, then please let me know when you inquire about availability. Otherwise, I may not be able to accommodate but I'll do my best to be flexible.

Please don't entertain guests or smoke here: this is my home after all. Please avoid sleeping on the loveseat: it's just not built for sleeping. It's a fairly quiet building, so please keep the music and television volume down. Thank you :-)
