Located in a spacious Victorian house 10 minutes from a tidal beach, local covered shops and railway station. On the A28 between Margate and Birchington. Close to Margate, Dreamland and beaches. Half a mile from St Augustines Conference Centre.
The house was constructed in 1874 for a Ships Captain. At the time he had an interrupted view of the channel and would have watched his ships pass on their way to London.
Your room faces the sea, although you would need x-ray specs to see it now! There is plenty of storage space. Towels, both bath and beach, are provided. Kettle and cups are provided.
Breakfast is available in the dining room comprising cereals, homemade bread and homemade conserves.

I'm retired and my wife, Pat, is a nurse. Our children have moved on so we have spare rooms. We have hosted language students for the past three years who learn English at schools in Westgate and Margate however there is always time to meet new people.
