This 1 1/2 story 1917 bungalow offers a newly refurbished attic suite with two bedrooms and a sitting/play area. One bedroom has a queen and a twin bed; the other has a twin size bunk. The entire second level is available for up to five guests.
There is plenty of private space in the attic suite, and it is separated from the rest of the home by a door at the bottom of the stairs.
It is well insulated and comfortable in summer and winter. Air conditioning is available, or windows may be opened to enjoy Fargo’s summer breezes. Each room has its own thermostat to control the base-board heat during the colder months.
In the sitting area between the bedrooms, there is a 30” television that receives about 15 local broadcast channels and is also ChromeCast enabled. Dvds, books, games and toys can also be enjoyed there.
It is important for guests to understand there is not a private bath. A shared bathroom is located on the main floor. A white board next to the bathroom door may be used to help schedule and coordinate bathroom usage. A pitcher of water and bowl are provided in each room for taking care of minimal toiletries if the bathroom is accupied.
A mini-fridge is available for guest use in the bunkroom.
(If less space is needed, we also offer single bedroom listings. Search for our other listings: Bungalow Bedroom OR Bungalow Bunk Room.)

A single shared bath in this historic home is important to note. We are accustomed to this, but some guests may not be. We have found, when our three kids lived at home, that a little communication and planning makes it very workable. The tub/shower is a 100 year old clawfoot cast iron type. Users must be agile enough to step over the side of the tub.
A pitcher of water and bowl are provided in each room for taking care of minimal toiletries if the bathroom is accupied.
Parking: We share a driveway with our neighbors, so it is very important to not park in the driveway. We will direct guests to park in front on the street, or behind the house next to the garage.
Noise: We ask our guests to be respectful of others—both hosts and neighbors. We promise to do the same. Good sleep is our goal!
Smoking: Smoking is permitted only on the front porch or around the fire pit.
Pets: No pets allowed. We have a cat that loves people but does not tolerate other pets very well. We do our best to prevent the cat from going upstairs to the suite area.
