Our certified 150-yrs-old Japanese farm lodge welcomes all guests to enjoy authentic daily life of Japanese farmers. We are located in the heart of Japan North Alps, growing semi/organic vegetables, fruits and rice.Complimentary breakfast is included
We believe in "Food From Farm To Fork" concept of farming. We own a government-certified legal farm B&B lodge in the heart of Japan North Alps. Our home is completely refurbished, but still using some original pillars from 150-year-old farm house. We had our Air BnB listing posted last year, welcoming over 140 guests from 20 different countries. We received 40 5-star reviews; however, we had some technical issues and family matters that needed to be dealt with; therefore, we unfortunately deleted our previous account. We are back in business now for the second year.
We offer our guests two big tatami rooms (42 square meters) with a perfect Japanese garden view all to themselves. We want our guests to feel special, so we only take one group of guest per night (whether the guest is travelling by himself/herself, or travelling with friend(s) or family). Our rooms look like Ryokan, the traditional Japanese Inn, with nice comfortable futon. The view from the room is breathtaking.
Our farm lodge is very child/family friendly as we have a 2.5-year-old boy living in the same house (4 generations living in one house: great grandmother, grandfather, grandmother, uncle, mother, and grandson). We have many toys and outdoor space where children can play. We offer special kids meal to those of you who are travelling with small children. The guestroom is so big that family of two children can easily spend their time in the guestroom or the shared living room.
Complimentary breakfast and pick-up/drop-off service are included in the price listed on our Air BnB listing.
You have the choice of either Japanese or Western style breakfast.
Japanese breakfast is: rice, miso soup, vegetables, yogurt, green tea or apple juice, a fruit (all ingredients are homemade and mostly organic, coming from our garden)

Weitere wichtige Infos
We have a small child living in the same house. We are also working full-time as farmers, so we wake up around 5am to start working. We try our best to be as quiet as possible, but please understand that you may hear some noise in the morning. But on the other hand, our farm lodge is very child and family friendly!
Our farm is registered in WWOOF JAPAN since 11 years ago. We accept 20 wwoofers a year from all over the world. We had more than 170 wwoofers in the past 11 years and all of them loved staying and volunteering in our farm. Even if we don't speak good English, Wwoofers can help you with translation and interpretation. Our farm is always very multicultural and lively.
We are very easy going. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns regarding your stay in our farm lodge.
Drinking is allowed inside the farm lodge, but no later than 9pm. We also ask our guests to stay in their guestroom after 9pm. Smoking is only allowed in the outside.
Guests are not allowed to bring their friends into their guestroom or our farm lodge as we only want our guests to stay comfortably in our lodge.
Check-in is after 2 pm, and the Check-out is 10 am. Please let us know if your check-in time will be past 9pm. You can check out as early as 5am if you like, but no later than 10 am.

We would only like to accept Air BnB guests who are interested in authentic Japanese cultural experience and organic farming life style in Japan. This is not a typical Air BnB listing or normal hotel. We want to do lots of things for our guests, so let us be your Japanese host family/friends.
We welcome our guests as our family/friends. If you wish to have quiet and more private time, our farm lodge may not be suitable for you, because we love to chat and spend time together with our guests, offering one-of-a-kind Japanese authentic experience in a rural farming home.
There is a nice Onsen hotspring spa nearby, so let us know if you would like to go to the Onsen. We are more than happy to take you there (Onsen entry fee is about 500 yen per person - coupons are available at our farm lodge)
