Country cabin with character. Great for those that want to disconnect without getting to far away from the action. Vibrant fall foliage, excellent winter skiing, and green summer retreat on 5-acre. Come play, explore, or relax at Pete's Place. [The listing is for the whole house]

"Pete's Place" is my private cabin. I am not a business or a corporation. My house rule is... treat the cabin like it was yours... and leave it in a condition you would like to find it in.

We (family of 4, although the cabin could easily fit 8) had a wonderful 5-night stay at Pete's place. Very close to Okemo and Ludlow and only 30 mins from Killington. The cabin offers everything needed for a successful ski vacation.

Peter's cabin was a great place to stay with plenty of space and a great living area for hanging out after a long day. There was also a lot of information about local restaurants and nearby towns. The cabin is very close to downtown Ludlow and to Okemo chair lifts making it a perfect location!

Peter's vacation home is a stone throw away from the okemo ski resort. The house is a secluded for privacy and strongly recommend for family stay. Peter responds to your request promptly and goes great lengths to make sure your stay is comfortable. Will definitely go back for future vacations.

I have stayed at Pete's Place many times, for work and for pleasure. Although it feels like rural Vermont, It is a great location with access to the major roads and highways. Lots of things to do, it is right around the corner from Okemo Summer Adventure and Buttermilk Falls. The house is cozy and Peter is a great host that provides lots of information for his guests. Can't wait to return.

Pete has a great house that he shared with my friends and I. We spent two nights here while we snowboarded Okemo and checked out a few of Vermont's well known breweries. The house is centrally located in Vermont with a 3 minute drive to the parking lot of Jackson Gore at Okemo. The house its self was very spacious and offers plenty of spaces to sleep. Highly recommended for trips to Okemo or the surrounding mountains.

Nick, I am glad you were able to find both the Long Trail and Harpoon Breweries. I hope you can come back during the summer and check out the hiking and mountain biking. There are DH trails at Okemo and Killington with lift service and All-mountain trail at Pine Hill and Ascutney (not to mention the unmapped trails throughout the area).

I am 50+ man, father and devoted partner. I enjoy snowboarding, sea-kayaking, mountain biking, snow-shoeing, hiking, and other outdoor activities.

Professionally I am an Structural/Architectural Engineer and Adjunct Instructor of Engineering. But, my dream is to move to Vermont and become an outdoor tour guide.

I am using AirBnB and renting my cabin primarily to help me through tough financial times, but it is also hopefully a way to segway into my dream occupation... and, possibly into running a Bed and Breakfast.
