The studio is very well described by the photos provided by Sanjay, so there's not much more to say about that.
Sanjay's studio is in an amazing location. It's located near to four stations, so you can choose the most suitable one: Gare du Nord, Gare de l'Est, La Chapelle, and Louis Blanc.
Gare du Nord or Gare de l'Est will probably be your arrival stations, and are within walking distances. However, for daily use, La Chapelle and Louis Blanc are more suitable as Gare de l'Est is slightly further away, and GdN is quite busy and large.
La Chapelle is located near to GdN and is within the local Indian community, with a large range of Indian restaurants and markets. Louis Blanc is located to the east, and is located one minute away from a very convenient Carrefour supermarket. One transfer from either of these stations will usually get you to where you want to go (except for places further away such as the west and Versailles). For travel to Versailles, please note that as of August 2016, there were still disruptions on RER C, with the line from Notre-Dame to Javel being out of operation. However, should you find yourself at one of these dead ends, there are metro employees on stand-by to direct you to alternatives.
The Paris metro runs until quite late (~12 - 1 am), so you can enjoy more of your time out at night.
