Casa de Campo.
If you come alone or with 2 persons up to a group of 10 - you will have some companion with the house owners (a family of 3) who will be your guides and serve you, but won't ever bother you at all.
If you come with 12, the complete mansion will be yours, with daily service for breakfast, cleaning, towels etc.
You are the guests, you pay for your vacation, so you can expect an excellent stay with a combination of a descret service and freedom of self-service (I guess you are able to open a fridge and grab your ice-cold beer on your own ? ;-)
No matter if you plan your vacation to come directly to La Mesa to relax for your entire stay in Colombia, or if you want to escape of Bogotá to have some wonderful diversity of landscapes and with a warmer climate just 2 hours away from the city - this is your place.

The mansion has space for up to 12-13 persons, with a total of 13 beds in 7 separate rooms and 4 bathrooms (each with showers).
HOW TO GET THERE:
You can take of course your own transportation vehicle, for instance a bus or taxi service, but if you want, we also offer a shuttle service Bogotá-La Mesa-Bogotá (one way is approx. 2 hours)

(If you are more than 4 persons - principally we have space for up to 4 persons per vehicle.
Just multiply the above mentioned costs or ask us for a complete offer.)
THINGS TO DO:
Everything in walking distance, you can walk to the center of La Mesa with many restaurants, bars etc. within 10-15 minutes.
Anapoima, the other famous place for all Bogotános for a relaxing weekend, is just 25 minutes away from La Mesa.
In Anapoima, temperatures are even a bit more tropical compared to La Mesa. Yes, you can say it's HOT! Anapoima also is more touristic, though smaller, than La Mesa.
You can get the bus directly in front of your place, a bus goes almost every 10-15 minutes, the last one goes back in the late night, so you can enjoy a full day in Anapoima.
You can easily plan your complete vacation from La Mesa.

No house-rules, except one: don't trash the place.
Maybe worth to mention: be mindful of using water. It's not really an issue, but as in most country-sides of many countries of the world (and not only there), please bare in mind that water is precious and should not be considered as an infinite source for hour-long showers :-)
I'm a native German, living abroad and in The Netherlands now for almost 15 years.
Amsterdam just got me. The city became my favorite in Europe over the years. As much as I like other places, it always draws me back. That's why I decided to make it my "base". On the other hand, clearly Colombia is my #1 country to spend almost all of my vacation, every year & as often as I can, after I lived in Bogota for almost 2 years, and came back to Amsterdam. Since then and over the many, many years, an absolutely strong family-like relationship grew between my friends in Colombia I know and love for more than a decade now - on a daily base.
