Lake front paradise! This beautiful home is on the East shore of Cayuga Lake. Summer dates are filling, book today! Boating, fishing, lakeside fire circle and beautiful sunsets.
Welcome to the Lake House! Lakeside beauty at its best! Please read through all of the details, they will help you decide if this is the dream spot for you. Our rental is the top floor of our house but we do not stay there when we have renters so you will have the place to yourselves. The space has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, living room with wood stove and deck with plenty of space for outdoor dining. There is a charcoal grill. There are 2 twins beds in the beach house but no plumbing. There is a large yard, 65 steps down to the beach, large dock, two canoes, a kayak, fire pit, and floaty toys. This is a quiet lake community and we ask that there be no large or loud parties. Sound curfew is 11pm all along the shore.
We provide bath towels and dish towels, but we ask that you bring your own beach towels. Bed linens & towels are provided. Beds include, one twin, one double, and 2 queens.
The kitchen is fully equipped. Check in is any time after 4pm, check out is 12pm firm, unless other arrangements have been made.
We have a TV, DVD player, and internet access through the TV but it's confusing at best and we apologize for that! If you are tech savvy you might be able to get it to work. (Improvements coming soon.)
REVIEWS: Airbnb is now encouraging guests to come up with negatives in the reviews. We have been hosting for five years and it's only in the last 6 months that we are seeing complaints that we have never seen before. Things like, the weather, insects, a bleach stain on one towel. Please know that we clean our house for eight hours between guests. If something is not to your standards please contact us rather than lowering the score on the review. We are here to help. Also, we can not control the weather, the temperature of the lake, or the mosquitos! Bugs are good, they provide food for birds, and after all this is a lake house in the country. Thank you.

Weitere wichtige Infos
We do not charge a cleaning fee like most other rentals. Instead we ask you to please clean up after yourselves. Please wash your dishes, pots and pans, and put them away. Wipe down the counters and other surfaces as well as the stove, its dials and control panel. Strip the beds. Recycling is really a must, all recycling must be rinsed clean. We recycle nearly everything in Ithaca so your garbage should be minimal and your recycling quite great.
Thank you for your help as this is how we can keep our prices reasonable.
Enjoy! No mean people, don't steal our stuff, no smoking inside, use an ashtray outside, wash your dishes, don't tailgate, eat less bacon, love one another, laugh more, learn how to juggle!
*Recycling is a must!
No pets, sorry!
Please be honest about how many people will be staying in the house. It will help us better prepare for you.
This is our second home and we hope you will treat it kindly and respectfully. It is located in a quiet lake community and while dinner parties are totally fine, we ask that there be no large or loud events. We'll ask that you sign a waiver being that there are train tracks between the house and beach and of course there is a lake, boats, things that can happen, but we trust that you will make good decisions. OK, enough rules, Thank you!
