Quiet residential neighborhood near Fort Ord Dunes beach (1 miles). Centrally located near Monterey (about 9 miles or 15 minutes drive to downtown and Fisherman's Wharf and the Aquarium). Easy access to the Monterey recreational trail (about 1.5 miles) and next door to California State University at Monterey Bay (2 miles) and Fort Ord Monument (2.5 miles). Fort Ord Monument is a 14,000 acres of trails set aside for recreational hiking and biking only. Endless activities await.
The main house is a 2 bedrooms and 2 baths house with a living room and a family room. We turn the family room into a bedroom with a queen sized bed. There is a nice redwood deck in the back. Please stay out of the backyard since it is still work in progress. The house is powered by solar energy. Most days, we supply the excess energy to the grid. We are still working on the rest of the backyard and some remodeling on the garage conversion, but none will interfere with your stay. Please note that the owners and our daughter use the garage conversion occasionally. So don't be alarmed if you hear some strange noise. It has its own separate entrance so it won't interfere with your stay.

This is a residential neighborhood. After 10 PM, the neighborhood is pretty much silent. It is part of the charm of this neighborhood. When entering or leaving the property at night, please be as quiet as possible. We have installed dual pane windows to help contain the noise. To maintain your privacy and minimize disturbance to neighbors, please close the windows and keep volumes to a bare minimal during quiet hours. No wild parties, loud music, or loud TV please.
