This charming, Central Austin Craftsman-style bungalow-located a few miles north of downtown and UT-is a historic, yet renovated house that will make you want to stay at home! The tall ceilings, front porch and sunroom allow plenty of space to spread out. With bus stops at either end of the block, and two different MetroRail stations within a five-minute walk, you can zip around Austin in a breeze. If you like unique spaces, ambiance, and experiencing the original Austin, give us a shout.
One front door takes you into a long open living, dining room and kitchen area with the original 1930's windows. The other front door (yes there are two!) takes you into a huge bedroom that offers an office space with a printer. There's also a second bedroom, a bathroom, and a sunroom in the rear of the house.
The residence has central air and heat, ceiling fans, and a gas fireplace. In the back of the property, there's a fire pit and plenty of wood.
There is plenty of parking both on the street, in the driveway and if needed, in the carport.
Zugang für Gäste
There's a little backyard social space that is split with the cottage in the rear of the property. There are laundry facilities behind the house, off the carport. Unfortunately, the house is not wheelchair accessible.
Interaktion mit Gästen
We'll meet guests with the key at the property, show them around, and be available for local advice.
Weitere wichtige Infos
There is a small cottage and shed in the rear of the property near where the fire pit is.
Be respectful of the belongings in the house, of the rear cottage resident, and of the neighbors.
