This classically British 4 bed home is perfect for a family getaway, situated in the desirable Queen’s Park area.

Der Wohnraum

As you enter the property, the plush grey carpet offers a calming entrance and leads through to the two smaller living areas, which also double as bedrooms (if required). The first room boasts classic features, with an antique writing desk, an ornate fireplace and luxurious sofas and seating. The small sofa transforms into a single bed, perfect for larger families.

The larger living space, which looks out onto the quiet yet spacious garden offers another single sofa bed, lots of comfortable seating and unique features such as a beautiful wooden antique bookcase and a piano.

Towards the rear of the house you will find the kitchen and dining area. The skylight and wide windows allow for plenty of natural light and the white colour scheme compliments creating a sleek and stylish appearance. The kitchen is fitted with modern appliances, including built in oven/microwave and the clean glass worktops compliment the fitted white kitchen units. Offsetting the modern kitchen is the stunning antique dining table and chairs – the perfect spot for enjoying an evening meal with all of the family.

The wide patio doors open onto the garden, with a contemporary metal table and chairs. The garden itself stretches far and there is a bench as well for enjoying the finer British weather.

Moving upstairs past the adorned hallway walls, the sitting room is located at the front and offers the largest living space in the property. Due to the fact that the street is quiet and peaceful this room is the ideal space for relaxation, especially with the abundance of comfortable sofas and the flat-screen TV.

Along the corridor there is a modern shower room with its sleek stone tiling, a glass wrap-around shower and a sleek glass wash basin.

Further upstairs is another bathroom with a similar grey tiling scheme, extremely calming for those evenings when all you want is to unwind with a long, hot bath. This floor also offers another bedroom with a queen-size bed, sleek sliding wardrobe and full length mirror. This is a particularly pleasing room as it overlooks the neighbourhood and the luscious garden at the back of the property. There is additionally a single bedroom, with a pull-out bed so it’s perfect for two friends or children. In line with the feel of the property it has a lovely, neutral colour scheme and an ornate fireplace.

We enjoyed staying at this property. The house itself has a nice kitchen and bathrooms. Very close to transport. Central heating was good. Very nice backyard. We would have preferred a microwave. Kilburn is ok as an area but it could do with a clean up. It's not Queens Park... it's Kilburn. Rubbish on the streets is not a good look. But we felt very safe. All up a homely home and we enjoyed our stay.
