Enjoy inspiring ocean and coastal views in a tranquil secluded setting. A simple but solid house with terrace and 2nd floor space. Whether you come to swim, surf, fish, dive or stay at home and read, you'll enjoy your time on the hilltop.
Downstairs there is one large bedroom and large living room which can be used for sleeping if guests wish to. There is a king size bed in the main bedroom for two people and guests may choose to have a single bed or a double bed mattress put in the living room.
For groups of 2 or more people, guests may choose to sleep in either of the two cosy upstairs loft rooms , designed to provide privacy but still allow the breeze in and a view of the ocean from the bed, with fan and mosquito nets provided. PLEASE NOTE, the stairs to the upstairs loft rooms are outside , not enclosed in the house. So not suitable for small children who may wake up during the night and want their parents . Guests with small kids usually choose to have mattresses put in the living room for their kids to sleep on. Guests sleeping upstairs may take a set of keys with them, in case they need to use the bathroom or kitchen in the middle of the night when the downstairs guests are sleeping and the downstairs section is locked. The temperature in the house is nice and cool, since the second floor space was added, keeping the sun off the first floor roof, it is cool and refreshing in the house, and so no guests have used the air conditioning since then (air conditioning has been removed from the amenities list for the house). There are fans in the main bedroom and living room.
Guests may use the kitchen to prepare meals, or request to have us arrange a maid to come and do some cooking/kitchen hand work for them, and pay her directly, approx 30,000rp ($3 per hour) minimum three hours per day . The kitchen has a fridge, gas cooker, oven, blender, plates, bowls, pots, pans and cutlery, ample bench and cupboard space and a counter with high chairs.
Drinking water, cooking oil, coffee, tea, milk and sugar are provided , and included in the rate. There are mini markets in Kuta selling bread, pasta, fruit and vegetables, cheese, margarine, snacks, condiments etc.
The outdoor markets are held in Kuta on Wednesday and Sunday mornings, where you can get a wider range of foods, fresh and prepared, including fresh seafood. In fact, you can get fresh seafood at the market location every morning of the week.
Hot water shower. New western (push button) flushing toilet. Cable tv with lots of channels in English, French, Japanese, and Indonesian. A DVD player can be provided upon request.
Wi-Fi is good, not as fast as some of you may be used to , but definitely not slow, (notwithstanding any interruptions on the provider end, which are very rare). Up to 5 people can connect simultaneously without overtly affecting the browsing speed. Guests who use more than 10G of data per week (by streaming a lot or downloading large files for example), may be asked to contribute $10 for extra data.

Weitere wichtige Infos
The main road from Kuta up the hill to Prabu has been upgraded and is in excellent condition. However, the final 150m dirt road to access the property is currently being upgraded by the local council. Access by car or motorbike is fine, you just need to go slowly. Consider it a small effort in order to enjoy the awesome view. If the access road is a challenge for less experienced riders, don't worry! assistance is given to guests bringing in and taking out scooters, or carrying in shopping, whenever they request it. Almost all guests have said that after two or three times, they get used to it.
Always lock the house properly when you go out. This means lock both the wooden doors and windows, and the security doors.
Scooters must be locked in when its dark. Even if you are going out again later, from 6.30pm it is your responsibility to EITHER lock scooters in the parking garage (If guests have more than 3 scooters, the host will provide padlocks, to lock the front wheel) OR lock the front gate, or both. We have never had a scooter stolen, but it does happen in Indonesia, so take these precautions.
No driving on the footpath.
No illegal drugs.
No outside guests after 10 pm without prior arrangement with the host. No burning candles on wood surfaces or letting off fireworks.
No dogs, but cats, rabbits and horses are welcome.
Guests can smoke in the kitchen and living room area, and on the terrace, but are asked to refrain from smoking in the main bedroom and upstairs loft rooms.
Do not take the bath towels to the beach.
Do not take the wi-fi out of the house.
Thanks for remembering these points.
