Home is a front-to-back duplex. Back neighbors are great. Please respect the calm, quiet appeal of the area. (The neighbor's entry is the locked gate to the right of the home - it's very discrete.)
Parking on the street is FREE and generally abundant (note street sweeping signs).
Trash and recycling bins (Wednesdays, recycling every other week) are out the back door and through the metal gate. Small lock on gate has a code: 808 ...note: bins must be placed on East side of ally (across the way) for 7am Wed pick-up.
*Hot water gets VERY HOT. Please be cautious.

Hi! I'm Jaime, a Colorado native originally from Salida. I moved around a bit before landing back in Colorado, well, mostly landing... Todd and I also live and work in Kailua, Hawaii. It keeps things entertaining and sometimes rather challenging trying to balance things in both locations.
Professionally, I'm a marketing director and part-time entrepreneur (martech) with a bachelor's degree in business marketing and master's degree in instructional design; CU alma mater.
Todd is an entrepreneur in the field of acoustical engineering and AV design consulting. His bachelors degree is in mechanical engineering from Purdue, masters in engineering from the University of Hawaii. We both work for Todd's company; corporate headquarters in HI, and an office in Colorado.
We enjoy exploring the outdoors: skiing/boarding, hiking, camping, biking, and running. I enjoy competing in the occasional triathlon and continue to work on my surfing skills. Todd has all the musical talent and plays drums with a couple different bands in Hawaii. Together, we have lot of fun adventures!
Domestic interests include painting, home projects, blogging, baking, sewing (me), woodworking (Todd), and hosting our family and friends. Two kiddos (boy and girl) and two dogs (a Bichon Frise in CO and Lab/Border-collie mix in HI) make life complete.
As for our Colorado home selection: we were intrigued by the artistic, modern architectural appeal, particularly in the historic district of Platt Park. The quiet, charming area was our choice location for access to entertainment, education, public transportation, downtown, South Pearl Street, and a quaint neighborhood. We were so thankful to find such a gem. Our neighbors are amazing, and we've just begun making the space our very own (we have many home improvement plans!).
