Hi and welcome to our London Home :-)

Located in an old Victorian mansion bloc, the apartment still retains a lot of its original features. With its own entrance and accessed via outdoor stairs to the rear of the building, the apartment is nice and bright and feels even larger thanks to its high ceilings and long hallway. It is good decorative condition.

There is a double bedroom which has standard double bed with comfortable therapeutic mattress, and its own en-suite bathroom (inc bathtub).
There is a separate guest WC off the hallway,
Large well equipped eat-in kitchen with integrated washer/dryer/dishwasher and finally, a beautifully decorated and comfortable living room with large bay windows. As an added bonus there is ample storage for clothes, shoes and suitcases.

PLEASE NOTE: THE SOFA IS NOT FOR SLEEPING ON. On a few occasions guests have arrived assuming it was OK to sleep on the couch. We would prefer it if you didn't.

ONCE BOOKED: Please provide all flight / train details so that we can check for delays. COMMUNICATION on the day is key. We understand that guests can be delayed, however we expect you to keep us informed so that we don't wait for you unnecessarily.
WE WON'T make our way to the flat UNTIL you tell us that you are on your way yourself. YOU RISK WAITING UNNECESSARILY if you do not get in touch with us ON THE DAY of arrival. There are plenty of public telephones and FREE wi-fi spots around London IN CASE you do not have international roaming plans.

Building entrance is on Pembroke Road. Apartment is accessed via stairs in the courtyard. You have your own private entrance

UPON ARRIVAL you can expect:
- Fresh, clean towels and bed linen.
- Cooking facilities including fridge, freezer, oven and hob. Also included are toaster, kettle.
- Integrated washer/dryer.
- Iron and ironing board.
- Hairdryer.
- 41" Panasonic LCD TV
- FREE WiFi (30GB)
- Apple TV
- Central heating
- Baby Cot (On request).

We are always available to answer queries reasonably quickly, whether they are in relation to the apartment and it's contents OR whether you are looking for advice/suggestions. We will endeavour to arrange for in person check in/out and be sure that you get a good tour of the flat :-)

The flat is located in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. Being centrally located there are lots of things to do in this area.

Earl’s Court was developed from green fields, to a London suburb, and into the busy neighborhood it is today. It retains a picturesque quality with the houses that line some of its streets, but there is still plenty of room for all of the coffee shops, restaurants, and other things to do.

Coffee Shops
Walk past all the huge coffee chains and delight your tastebuds with some well-made coffee from an independent coffee shop. You can enjoy the great atmosphere inside these great cafes and stores or take your caffeine to go as you explore the rest of this great neighborhood.

Troubadour Cafe - Voted one of the most popular breakfast spots in London, the Troubadour draws you in with its great coffee and all-day breakfast menu (as well as the daytime menu and live music nights), and keeps you there with its quirky, friendly interior.

Crussh - Known for their fresh fruity juices, Crussh also makes a mean cup of coffee. The organic, in-house blend served is strong and flavorful. Due to the name and theme of the establishment, this might be the best-kept coffee secret in Earl’s Court.

Cafe Continente - A pleasant little cafe with outdoor seating available, you can find just about any cake, sweet, or pastry to go along with your well-made coffee. Cafe Continente also offers simple International savory options if you aren’t feeling like eating cake.

Cafe Du Coin - This cafe is fun, relaxed, friendly, and simple. They have all manner of pastries to offer, if you don’t happen to order your coffee without also buying yourself a treat. You might even want to say awhile and enjoy the atmosphere.

Brownie Box - Though dedicated to the US-style brownie - and there are definitely many delicious brownies and cakes - Brownie Box also serves up some delicious Illy coffee. And once you have your coffee - a sweet chocolatey brownie is a great accompanying purchase.

Earl’s Court is a traditional-looking neighborhood, with the houses lined up in picturesque rows. The pubs are just as traditional, and ranging from classy to hole-in-the-wall homey. No matter which pub you go with, they will all have a great pint and some comforting pub food.

Earls Court Tavern - This Taylor Walker pub serves good traditional pub food with friendly service. The attractive facade draws you into a cosy interior, and the atmosphere will keep you coming back.

Courtfield - Built around the same time period as the underground station, Courtfield has Victorian roots, and is very proud of its recently restored interior. Another Taylor Walker pub, you can’t go wrong with a meal and a pint at Courtfield.

The King’s Head - The King’s Head is a great example of a traditional, local pub. The great, classic decor lends a nice, homey atmosphere to the space. Add to that a great selection of beers and wine, and The King’s Head is a winner.

Blackbird - Blackbird might not have the history some other London pubs do, but it makes up for that with a great atmosphere and a menu dedicated to pies and ale. Fresh pies and award winning ale in a traditionally-outfitted building - what’s not to like?

The Pembroke - The Pembroke has an understated classic pub elegance running throughout the dining room, bar, upstairs lounge, and the roof garden. They throw just about any type of function at the pub, so The Pembroke is the place to go for anything from cinema events to wine tastings.

If you’re looking for somewhere to hang out once the sun goes down, Earls Court definitely has some great options. From restaurants holding downstairs cocktail bars to American honky tonk themed music venues, there is an eclectic range of options to chose from.

The Crescent Champagne Bar - Bringing a bit of West End glamor to the area, The Crescent Champagne Bar specializes in glitzy surroundings, champagne, and cocktails. There is a moderate-sized dancefloor as well as several themed VIP rooms.

Evans & Peel Detective Agency - This basement bar takes the speakeasy theme seriously. Those who have an “invitation” can enter, and are greeted by a detective. You can decide just how far you want to take the Detective Agency pretense.

Sopranos Restaurant Basement Bar - This restaurant in Kensington has a great live music lounge in their basement bar. A bit more high end than your average bar, you can have a nice Italian meal before heading down the stairs for some seriously great cocktails.

Honky Tonk Chelsea - As the name might lead you to believe, Honky Tonk Chelsea is inspired by the American honky tonks with a rockabilly feel. They offer bourbon, beer, and some delicious cocktails alongside live music and a honky tonk inspired menu.

Mare Moto - Mare Moto is a modern Italian restaurant with a downstairs nightclub and cocktail bar. They serve quite a diverse crowd, and have space for roughly 200 to party the night away.

Eating Out
The neighborhood has quite a diverse offering of restaurants, some of which are listed among the best in London by multiple city publications. You won’t want to miss out on some of the best Chinese in London, or the most down-to-earth French restaurant in the area.

Zizzi - Italian with a unique atmosphere, Zizzi was inspired by Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show. With a friendly staff and quality menu items, Zizzi can often be busy - but the efficient waiters and great food more than make up for it.

Masala Zone - This chain of restaurants is rapidly expanding throughout London, each decorated with a separate theme. The menu is populated with street-food-type snacks, wraps, grills, curried noodles, curry, and rice plates, amongst others. You can also usually catch a great discount special.

Garnier Restaurant - The relaxed atmosphere of Garnier has an understated elegance with its red and cream color scheme and attentive staff. The menu is full of French influence, complemented by an extensive wine list.

Dragon Palace - Listed in the Evening Standard as one of the top ten Chinese restaurants in London, Dragon Palace is not a place you want to pass up. Reasonable prices and quality food brings regulars back in for lunch or dinner year after year.

The Little French Restaurant - Just a short walk from the Earls Court, The Little French Restaurant believes that eating well is living well, and they want to offer an affordable, quality French menu to its customers.

Earl’s Court has plenty of brilliant little green spaces to take a deep breath in. It is also quite close to some of the most famous London Royal Parks with the most acreage. Find your own personal hideaway or join the other Londoners enjoying what sun they can at a more well-known green space.

Earl’s Court Square - The 1870’s is when this award winning garden was originally laid out. It was the location of several emergency services in WWII, and was rebuilt in the years after. Now it is a well-manicured green space again, and a great spot for the community.

Redcliffe Square Gardens - Another history-filled green space, Redcliffe Square Gardens have been around since the 1860’s. It has been a public space since 1949, under the condition that it was maintained in a similar way. Today it is a peaceful park attracting people of all kinds.

Kensington Gardens - Kensington Gardens are gorgeously manicured gardens attached to Kensington Palace. Classified as one of the Royal Parks, the area is also home to the Albert Memorial and Princess Diana Memorial Playgrounds.

Brompton Cemetery - A Royal Park and one of London’s seven great historical cemeteries, Brompton Cemetery is a park you won’t want to miss. It is a peaceful hideaway from the nearby traffic and filled with greenery and historic monuments and gravestones.

Hyde Park - One of the largest parks in London, Hyde Park is one of the Royal Parks and covers 350 acres. Speaker’s Corner is quite famous for allowing people to hop up on their soapboxes, and the rest of the park is filled with activities and open space to relax or play in.

The flat is walking distance from Earl’s Court tube station (Piccadilly line, District and Circle line) and not too far from High Street Kensington tube station (District and Circle line), as well as all major bus routes meaning you can be in the centre of London (Oxford street, Piccadilly) within 20 mins.
The apartment is close to Kensington High Street, and close to Notting Hill, Knightsbridge and Chelsea. It is walking distance from the Kensington Olympia Exhibition Center and the Earls Court Exhibition Center - which can make it ideal for exhibition and events visitors.

O apartamento é ótimo! Super limpo, moderno e parece recém-reformado.

Location was amazing - just a short walk to both Earl's Court and High Street Kensington stations. Check in went smoothly and Ash showed us around the place. Really nice guy, even helped us to get our suitcases up the stairs! Everything was as the pictures showed... comfortable and spacious living room, clean kitchen and bathrooms...can't really complain (unless you like a big bed, as it was a small double). All in all, a nice place to stay! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed Ash & Faiza's place for 10 days. Every thing was well organised and equipped, which allowed us to settle in instantly on the day that we arrived. We enjoyed our locals-like life there a lot. Faiza's response was prompt and helpful. The pictures provided on their site were all accurate and trustable. I would recommend this place, and I myself would like to stay here again. Many thanks, Ash and Faiza.
