Der Wohnraum

A wonderful new and modern 650 sq ft. studio loft in the heart of the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles. The unit has a gated parking spot for 1 car, full appliances, fresh linens, towels, tv (basic channels), movies, and internet. The sofa can be turned into a bed for an additional guest making it so three people can stay in the unit. Great unit for an out of town student, family visits, and travelers ready to explore LA. Rooftop has a hot tub, and open community grill. I live in the area as well and happy to list the many museums, bars, restaurants, parks to visit in the area, and always a phone call away for directions etc.

I also have 2 bikes for hire for $10/day per bike. (includes baskets, lights, bike lock, and helmets)

Let me know if you have any questions about the place happy to answer. :-)

Really beautiful studio located in the Arts District in DTLA. It's described as a "studio" but it feels much bigger with a full kitchen and a separate sleeping area. I loved my stay here! It's really close to great restaurants and bars and the building is very secure and safe. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! Pia-Louise was fantastic! Very helpful and friendly and even offered me a couple tickets to the Rams game. If you get a chance definitely stay here!

This place is PHENOMENAL!!! Its a suuuuper cool area (Arts District) with some of they nicest shops, restaurants, bars and art all within walking distance. Also very close to Little Tokyo which is also a beautiful neighborhood. The rooftop was my favorite part!

Pia's place exceeds expectations. Check-in/check-out are very simple and you can tell she has it professionally cleaned. The photos are accurate and the decor makes it feel special. Her communication is top notch. Not mention the Art District is super cool. Very safe neighborhood as I went running at various times of day/night. Thank you for a magical stay Pia! xo

My partner and I live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and needed a place to stay for a month in LA. We're not used to driving, so we thought this place might be a good fit for us because it's a very walkable neighborhood and close to the Little Tokyo subway stop. Pia and her studio loft exceeded our expectations! This studio is very spacious, in a quiet building, with friendly neighborhoods. Great jacuzzi and grills on the rooftop with a view of the skyline. If you search this location on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps, it seems as if there's nothing but industrial buildings around, but there's many great hotspots that people drive here to visit. Around the block is Tokyo Marketplace, a massive grocery store where we did most of our grocery shopping and across the street is Resident LA that hosts a few Airstream trailers serving up wine/cocktails/beer, fancy burritos, and a concert venue in the basement. Walkable to several breweries, Little Tokyo, pop-up clothing shops, and my new favorite place to write/chill: The Springs LA. If you take an Uber to Echo Park/Silverlake/other East LA places, it's pretty reasonable (about $10). The new Expo line to Santa Monica opened up, so you can now take the subway about 45 minutes to the beach! My only reservation is that you're quite close to what's left of Skid Row, so be vigilant if you are walking by yourself on Alameda or at night. In terms of hosting, Pia is very quick to respond to any questions we had and offered a lot of great suggestions. She even checked up on us a couple of weeks later to make sure we were doing okay in the apartment. I fell in love with the Arts District and it's only getting better. I'd definitely recommend this place if you need a writer's retreat, want to be near the hip spots in East LA but would still like a quick way to get to the beach.

Great place, great host! I will definitely be back. The check in and out process was by far the most simple & smoothest process ever. Pia was super quick to answer any questions ever since the booking process. The place is just as good as the photos, maybe even better! I was only there for a couple of days but I already miss it! Super convenient location, there are plenty of good restaurants, dessert spots & cafes that are within walking distance. No complaints at all for this place. You won't regret staying here!

We had such a wonderful time staying at Pia's loft! We chose it because it is in the Arts District, near a wedding we were attending the weekend of our stay, and had a parking space. Although we were nervous driving to the unit because the neighborhood seemed a little scary at night, we felt totally safe in the gated community and really loved walking during the day because there are so many great murals around. (Also, we learned that a lot of the barbed wire is kind of just there but not actively meant for anything?) It's practically across the street from the Little Tokyo Market, where there are restaurants and an Asian supermarket. It's close to downtown and Little Tokyo. The unit itself is really spacious and could very comfortably accommodate a much longer stay that we did. Pia was super helpful in helping us get checked in, helping us deal with a rain-induced Internet outage, and answering questions about LA. Honestly, I don't know why I would stay anywhere else the next time I come to LA! This was exactly what we needed and then some.

Lae had a great stay in the loft. Whatever you are seeing the picture is exactly the same when you go there. It was pretty and awesome. Elizabeth (the host) communicated very well to us. We dont have problem checking-in/out. There are few things that I guess they need to work on. Some people frequently visit the home for several thing such as showing of the property; also, the walls are SO thin we can hear each other through the walls. But overall stay was really great!

Hi There! Not sure you have the correct place. You might have more then one person you rent for your employees? Your employee's name was Wilson and he stayed in my unit for a couple of weeks and had a brother that lived LA, and Wilson had lived in LA but was on his way out of town for business. Also my name is Pia and not Elizabeth and there couldn't be anyone coming in and showing the place because it's not on the market nor any other units in the building at the moment. Your guest Wilson was a nice person but left a bunch of trash (left over food) inside a drawer, that was the only bummer. Be well.

I'm a Producer/ Production Supervisor who's rented from airbnb for Directors and Execs. Finally, decided to get a place to rent out myself. Nothing more exciting then helping other travelers have a wonderful time exploring a city I've grown to love myself!

Here to be of service!
