The studio is bright, with a lot of natural light flowing in. New, portable air conditioner has just been added for your comfort in the tropics. Guests have all told me it looks even better in person than in pictures. Guests have also described the mattress on the queen bed as firm.
Studio is a completely separate, private unit, one of two units of a house that has been divided into two distinct units. Driveway, common access, balcony (common area) is shared. Unit sits on 1/2 acre property, and is excellent for relaxation. The neighborhood is charming.
Please bring a flashlight, the area is very dark at night -- no streetlights.
House is situated in the only tropical rain forest in the United States.
Since it is in the rain forest, you can expect to find little critters such as lizards and frogs in close proximity to the house, and in the general vacinity. (They are very rarely found inside the house. Yay!)
Zugang für Gäste
Parking is at the top of the driveway, on the right; so just drive straight up to the top of the driveway, and stop. The left side is utilized by the tenant in the other unit.
Access to the unit: head to the front side of the house, facing the road, and go on the pebble/concrete path, up the balcony, to the door at the end of the balcony.
You are welcome to take a chair and sit out in yard, or on outdoor patios, as well as the balcony accompanying your unit. You are also welcome to walk, enjoy the yard.
Guests staying one week or more can access the washer/dryer. This rule is applied consistently and fairly. For shorter stays, I can help refer you to a public laundry facility.

3. Big,important house rule: Do not remove sheets from the bed, or pillow cases from the pillows prior to leaving.

Importantly, I am a frequent snorkeler, and will happily give you recommendations for a nice spot. As a high school teacher of Special Ed Geometry, I keep busy with helping our community and juveniles. But when I'm not working, I enjoy nature and the solitude and peace it provides. I also love singing and am involved in one or more choruses at any given time.
I never want to intrude on others' privacy. So I happily welcome guests, usually keep conversations short and friendly, and go about my business.
