The master suite (aka The Magnolia Suite) in this lovely, spacious (1800 sq ft), historic home in Hyde Park is unique as it has its own private entrance, ensuite bathroom, office space, yard and raised porch. Until May 2017 the studio was occupied by the host and her son, however, they have moved to the south wing of the house and are now renting the suite as an entire unit. The main house is accessible via the suite's private entryway and office space. Essential for booking to be 30+ days
The Magnolia Suite has a private entrance, office space and ensuite bathroom and is the master suite in a sizable home (over 1800 sq ft) which is very well laid out for privacy.
The kitchen, living room, dining area and laundry room are in the main house where Margo lives with her son. The main house is easily accessible from the suite and is includes a washer/dryer, dishwasher, etc. There is a laundry room at the back of the house, as well as a wonderful kitchen with dining area. The guests in the suite are also very welcome to use the main living room which has many large windows and lovely high ceilings.
The private entrance to the Magnolia suite on the north side of the house is via a private porch in the side yard.
The location is ideal for guests visiting the University as it is only 1.5 miles from campus or medical professionals working at many of the area hospitals (Seton, St David's, Heart Hospital...). It is a very nice 10-minute bike ride to the main University campus and not much more if you want to bike it to the river downtown. The J. J. Pickle Research Campus on Burnet Road is also easily accessible as well as the tech companies just north of the central neighborhood of Hyde Park.

My landlords allow me to oversee the change of tenancy in the suite, but require my guests to sign a change of tenancy agreement associated with my lease and a couple of other sublease forms for all guest staying in the suite.
There is a cat named Gabi in the main house and she has her own kitty door on the west side of the house. She is a good communicator, and is comfortable with kids and animals too.
It would be great to have a chat beforehand. New users don't realize that email addresses and phone numbers cannot be exchanged until after a reservation request has been accepted. When they try, robots remove the data with the text "(SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)". This is to maintain safety and privacy and I do appreciate that part of the equation. Also -
Airbnb obviously wishes to be part of any agreement, and rightly so. I appreciate the security aspect and the way Airbnb runs this business, but sometimes it is difficult to get information across without a phone call especially with longer terms.
