Nestled among oaks on a 34 acre nature preserve, our beautiful Sunflower Room has a queen-sized bed and is filled with light and views from the second floor of our gorgeous, architect-designed home in the foothills of Ca. Hike, ski, dine within minutes (downtown Auburn is 8 miles away) or bring a picnic and seclude yourself in nature. An all organic breakfast is included - you'll enjoy eggs from our chickens, fresh bread from local bakers and seasonal fruit from our own orchard.
All income from our Air B and B guests is dedicated to our NGO International PEACE Projects. We develop clean water projects in Nicaragua and Zambia.

Hosts are great resources for hiking, biking and touring suggestions. Also, we can make reservations or suggest great restaurants here in Placer County or just 30 minutes up the highway in Nevada County.

We are ranchers, conservationists and philanthropists. We live on a beautiful property in Auburn, Ca that is protected forever through a conservation easement with Placer Land Trust. We work to bring clean water and clean water education to communities in Africa and Nicaragua. All income from our Air B & B guests will be used to support these clean water projects. Check our web site So, when you stay with us, in addition to having a gorgeous experience in nature and comfort, you are bringing clean water to communities in need. In 2017, we will drill our 31, 32nd and 33rd wells - two in Zambia and one in Morocco! Thank you Air B and B guests for your contribution toward this work!
Our home is Auburn is is the place people love to visit and we love to entertain. The gardens and tranquility of this beautiful land are enchanting and absolutely unique.
We have lived here for 31 years. We know and love our community and have explored the river canyons, skied the mountains and hiked the endless gorgeous trails. So, if you need suggestions for what to do and where to go, we are a great resource.
If your choice is to relax and do nothing at all, that is fine too. This is a serene and secluded meadow, with no ambient light to distract from your study of the stars and planets.
It is perfectly safe to be outside and wildlife abounds in the meadow. From your bedroom you may hear the gentle footfalls of deer passing in the night, the call of an owl, but that is the only noise that will disturb your rest. It is a delight to throw open the windows and left the quiet and fresh air in.
