Beschreibung

The villa is in a very quiet part of Ubud yet just a 5 minute scooter ride to the centre of Ubud. It is quality built and decorated tastefully. It is very much an outdoor living property which is typical of Bali, beautiful.

A beautiful villa approx. 3 km from the Ubud Palace which is the centre of Ubud. Rice fields surround the villa and at the rear is a magnificent jungle view. The villa is private with two VERY SEPARATE air conditioned bedrooms both with an ensuite and private patio. There is a kingsize bed in the main house which is luxurious and a double bed in the smaller guest room which is not to the same standard in size and is typical Balinese with a delightful semi open bathroom . If you are two couples there will be a difference in the spaces. The pool is magical, overlooking the jungle with a large bale and outdoor kitchen along side. All visitors comment on the 'energy' of the place.

The villa is typical of Bali in that the design is very much outdoor living with a separate covered outdoor kitchen and bale. There is no formal dining and lounge room. There is no BBQ or table and chairs as the Bale is the eating area. However there is a table and chairs are on the patio of the second bedroom.

You will be given breakfast on the first morning (banana pancakes) and if you wish Wayan to cook breakfast every morning you will need to ask her to buy fresh fruit, fresh coconut, eggs etc from the local market. You will need to pay her for this.

Airport pick up is available at the lowest rate. This is recommended as the villa is sometimes difficult to find for a driver not from Ubud.

Six days a week and for four hours a day there is a maid who cleans. She is happy to cook if you wish for an extra payment from you.
A gardener and pool person comes four times a week. If something needs attention please tell Wayan or Ketut to attend to it. They are more than happy to do so.

It is best if you hire scooters to get around. Drivers are very cheap to get to and from the villa.

Guests will have private access to the whole villa.

I am often travelling so not always in Ubud. I check my emails many times a day should I need to be contacted. Please enjoy the villa. If you have a problem please speak to the housekeeper who will do her best to rectify it.

The neighbourhood is very beautiful. The village was featured in the 'Eat Pray Love' film. What I personally love about it, is that it is not a typical village populated by expats. It's a very typical Balinese village with a famous Jegog temple nearby. The village people are very friendly and will welcome you. Enjoy!

Walking to Ubud takes 35 minutes and is 3km.
The trip in to and out of Ubud with a driver costs about $8 or 80,000rp.
Scooters can be hired for you so that they are at the villa on your arrival. Just let me know. They cost approx. $6 or 60,000rp per day.
Bicycles can be hired also .,
Have fun!

Guests will have private access to the whole villa.
Security of the villa is excellent with the typical walls around the property.
