My dear studio apartment in Kurucesme, one of the oldest neighbourhoods, right between Arnavutkoy and Ortakoy, overlooking Galatasaray Island or namely SuAda.
This is a well equipped one room studio flat, in a hundred years old historical wooden building overlooking the Bosphorus. It has a full view, which is nice to live with. Its located on the up hill, though not far away from the coastline, about a minute downhill and may be 2 minutes up.
The flat is 35msq in total, with its 3m+ ceilings feels quite spacious. Its a bohemian, cozy and very luminous place, with a double bed and a double bed convertible large sofa suitable for an extra adult or a child.
In the winter the heating is by electricity. There are two brand new wall-fixed electric panel heaters which work more than enough. Water heater is also brand new and enough for several consecutive showers. I also have a ventilator (fan) for the summer time. The kitchen is fully equipped, Wi-Fi is on site available and note NO washing machines though reasonable facilities near by...
All the neighbours are good fellows, lucky to have them around. There is our friendly and clever resident dog, Pasha, in and around the building. Quite frequent 7/24 public buses to Sariyer and to Taksim so transport is never a problem. Plus Levent Metro station is just minutes by taxi (10 liras), sometimes a good alternative when the coastline is jammed. There are two supermarkets a couple of minutes away beside several kiosks in the neighbourhood. Not to skip plenty of alternatives for eating, especially for seafood.
Hope to see you soon.
