Unfortunately even though residents are allowed to have pets, it is part of our policy to not allow pets for the guest in our home. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause because we realize that pets are a part of the family and most are well behaved and trained but unfortunately some are not and cannot contain their natural instincts such as leaving their markings when detecting the scent of a previous pet residing here. Once again we apologize and hope you understand our position when considering to stay in our beautiful home!

I am a Canadian woman of a "certain age" who has travelled extensively using the services of (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) and Airbnb many, many times. This was the first time I had some miscommunication and lack of specific i do. Here's what I was NOT told prior to my trip, and had to,find out after the fact to be admonished by the host/owner as a "complainer, cannot follow instructions, and questioned my "communication technology abilities. But I digress. More later...lets talk about the unit. And complex Excellent location and upscale complex. It is a ground level unit that looks out to a beautiful landscapes courtyard with huge pond area, waterfall, fountain and lovely gardens. The unit faces north and as such does not get any direct sunlight all day..so the patio (which had lovely furniture) is in the shade all the time..and this makes the living/dining area darkish throughout the day (we kept lights on all day to brighten the unit. But it is a spacious one bed with den - den can serve as a second bedroom and is also the TV (URL HIDDEN) TV in living room area...the owner said he angled the TV so one could view it from the living room area (the den is small for a crowd to watch tv together) but the distance is so great and the tv of a smaller size that one would need binoculars to get a good ciew. Furniture is tropical like ..kitchen and bath are dated (original...1980's ish) and some kitchen doors need to be adjusted with their hinges. It is located in an awesome area of Cathesrale City very close to downtown PS What you should know beforehand ..(which I didn't because I was not told by owner but found out after the fact 1. There is a co-owner named "Wally" ..when I dialled the number given to talk about some access issues....I got a Wally voicemail..not a Shawn voicemail so I thought I misdialled. Phone again, got same message so I contacted Airbnb to get me the i do I needed. 2. I was to,d by the owner that the access code to the front door would be sent to me early in (URL HIDDEN) start date was Jan 8... by Jan 5 I had not heard anything so I phoned directly (URL HIDDEN) Eventually Airbnb got me the code. And the. Was to,d by the owner after the fact that he does not give out the code until 2 days prior to start day. Was not informed about that. 3. The gate codes...was given 2 numbers.:got to the gate, dialled the first and got some other lady...dialled the next one and got "Wally's" voicemail again and so could not get into complex. Just as I went to dial the first number again some car pulled up and let us through the gate complex. 4. You are give. The door code but I was not told that there is a physical "trick" to opening the door handle,..its...

The place was perfect as we were in town for the Desert Trip Festival. It is certainly much more spacious than the pictures portray, the community is quite and just off a main thoroughfare to the freeway, Palm Springs, and Indio. I highly recommend this place to anyone curious about staying here.

This is a well-equipped house in a lovely garden setting. The host was pleasant and easy to deal with. A very relaxing stay!
