This is my smallest room and has a wall of Disney mugs. It's at the top of the house. There is a shared shower room the floor below and towels and breakfast is included. The room has a double bed, bedside lights, television and a little hanging /storage space. Guests may use the dining room for laptop work or for preparing meals.
The room is small and is at the top of the house, so there are two flights of stairs. I provide a dressing gown, towels and breakfast.

Guests are welcome to use my kitchen. I have a gas oven and microwave. I'm happy for guests to cook or order take away meals and eat at my dining room table. Equally happy for guests to work at the dining room table or read or email. It's a busy house as I rent out four rooms as well as living here myself.

I love my adopted home city. I am always happy to recommend places to see or eat. I love to talk with my guests but also appreciate that guests may prefer privacy.

I have one dog. She is a friendly Westie called Chompers who loves guests. She has diabetes and has twice daily injections. She is quiet and loves attention from guests. She's getting on a bit and will be twelve in 2017. She sleeps a lot.
There are a lot of stairs so not terribly child-friendly. I have two dogs who love humans, but no other pets please.

Hi, my name's Andrew and I used to be a headteacher in London. Now I'm a writer and screenwriter working from home. The house is a five minute walk from the train station. The train journey to the Universities is nine minutes. The train journey to Gatwick is thirty minutes and an hour to London. I love Brighton and keen for visitors to experience all that the city has to offer. I have a dog. She is a West Highland terrier called Chompers. She loves people but not so keen on other dogs so only human guests please. I became an Airbnb host three and a half years ago and love it. I have four rooms available; At the top of the house are my Seaview Attic Room which has its own bath, wc and sink and is a double room. Next to that is my Disney Room. It has a double bed but better for a single person as it's my smallest room. On the first floor are my Library Room which has a double bed and all my books and my Butterfly Room which can be a double or twin room. There are Sharpies on hand to colour in the wallpaper. The shower room and wc are on this floor. Here's what Rob wrote 12/1/17
'“I have stayed with Andrew twice, once on leisure and once for work in Brighton. Andrew is a fantastic, friendly and funny host who goes out of his way to be accommodating to any of your needs. A fantastic guide to the city or also happy to just let you get on with your stay. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Brighton. ”
'I only managed to get my foot in Andrew's door because of a late cancellation and just for one night; I'm so glad that I did, what a treat. Exactly as it said on the tin but with an even deeper lustre and a warmer glow and a beautiful soft sheen finish! So much has been said about Andrew and his house already that I'll just add: honest, warm, graceful, intelligent, generous . . . put that man in a dress and a nice hat and he could run Buckingham Palace! Thank you Andrew.'

I need to catch a glimpse of the sea at least every day. Walking my dog on the beach, meeting up with friends for a coffee, watching a film at the Duke of York's, struggling with a crossword and a show at the Komedia are some of my favourite activities. My top five places in Brighton are the Dome, The Pavilion, The West Pier, The North Laine and the kissing sculpture on the seafront. I've been up the i360 tower three times already.
Much as I love Brighton, I need to visit a Greek island at least once a year, as well as have a city break.
I LOVE guests to feel at home. I provide guests with breakfast of cereal, juice, toast, spreads, pastries, fruit, tea and coffee. Although I wouldn't be offended in the slightest if you decide to go out for breakfast. Billie's and Bill's are within five minutes walk.
My favourite restaurants are Pompoko, Planet India, V.I.P., Iydea, La Choza, Pho, The Curry Leaf, Franco Manca and Food for Friends.
Best places for coffee are Coho, Black Mocha, 33, Red Roaster, Beans and Wheat and Flour Pot. But if you find a new one, do let me know.
If you would like to use my kitchen for cooking, preparing food or eat a takeway at my dining room table, feel free.
I provide towels for guests and if you've forgotten something, just ask. I even have a hair dryer even though I'm bald!
People visit Brighton for amazing reasons. Whether it's attending a stand-up comedy course, learning to be an aerial dancer, setting up an art installation at a local gallery, attending a conference or a wedding, performing at a gig, paragliding at Seven Sisters, improving your English skills at one of our great language schools, attending a graduation ceremony or a tattoo convention, attending a tea-blending session, petting lambs on a farm on Easter Sunday, participating in a paranormal ghost-hunt or travelling from the other side of the world to meet a new grandchild, I love to hear about it. The reason to beat at the moment is Greg, who flew all the way from Melbourne to watch his favourite band at the Brighton Dome. Stop press! Now matched by Sarah who travelled from Swansea to select her wedding dress which she will wear when she gets married later in the year in a treehouse in Seattle. Peter and Chloe became engaged while staying at my house and Jamie and Richard celebrated their civil partnership here.
