The house is tucked into the back of our 300-acre working dairy farm and offers breathtaking views of Mt. Mansfield. We are centrally located among Vermont's lakes, mountains and streams, with plenty of nearby fun outdoor activities. Tour the countryside and explore antique stores or local breweries and restaurants. Stay at the farm and watch us milk the cows, relax by the pond or in the hammock and pick up some our of grass-fed beef for dinner. Well behaved dogs are welcome anytime!
The house's south-facing exposure adds warmth and sunshine to the entire space. Downstairs there is an open floor plan with a kitchen, a full bathroom with a shower, a cozy wood stove and comfy chairs and couches for curling up and relaxing. The kitchen comes complete with everything you need for cooking a romantic dinner for two or putting a big meal together for friends and family. Two of the bedrooms with gorgeous mountains views are upstairs, along with the clawfoot tub for soaking in after a long day. The third bedroom is conveniently located downstairs and offers privacy through its double french doors. Off the living room there is a small porch, perfect for sunset views.

Guest have access to the whole house, the yard around it and the pond. Everyone is welcome to explore the farm and take in the natural beauty of the Vermont maple trees or the plentiful wild apple trees that are sprinkled around the property. Not to mention our herd of Jersey cows, happily grazing in our lush green pastures. There are two fire circles - one near the pond and another closer to the house. There is a grill at the house for summer barbecues.

The house sits down the road from the main farmstead. Tyler and Melanie are around most all of the time and happy to provide a farm tour as well as suggestions for scenic, shopping and gastro adventures from Burlington to Montreal or Stowe to the Eastern Townships in Quebec.
Weitere wichtige Infos
We raise our own organic, grass-fed beef on the farm so if you are interested in purchasing any meat during your stay or to take home with you please let us know.

Melanie and Tyler are organic dairy and grass-fed beef farmers. We have two children, three dogs and one barn cat, not to mention almost 100 cows. We steward close to 400 acres of land, rotationally grazing our dairy, beef cows and heifers. Melanie is an avid photographer and artist. Tyler is an outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and fishing. We both have unique connections to the land and surrounding areas.
