This cottage started as one room and then just grew! It has a huge deck that looks out over a vista to the sunset. There is nothing to hear but birds and the occasional hickory nut hitting the roof. We live in a separate building, and the layout of the property allows for everyone to feel as though they have their own space, however, it's not isolated. There is no wi-fi, or TV just a peaceful retreat from the hustle-bustle of modern life.
There is no internet and cell phone reception is unreliable...the perfect retreat from everyday stress. There are also no cooking facilities but there is a coffee pot, small microwave, and small refrigerator available.

The cabin is an independent structure up the hill from our house. The entire interior is available to guests...comprising a roomy deck, spacious sitting room , a large bedroom with views up the hill, a sunny breakfast room, and full shower bathroom with flush toilet. We really like to give our guests as much privacy as possible since we live in a separate building on the property.

My husband Keith and I have lived here since 2001. We currently have a Golden Retriever who shares the home with us. We are both retired and enjoy spending time on our sailboat on Lake Champlain.
