This cosy house is composed of a living-room with kitchen area on the upper floor and of a double room with bathroom on the lower level. The living room has also a charming fireplace and a comfortable sofa bed. There is also a satellite TV set to receive the most important Italian and foreign channels.
The house is in the characteristic village of Puria, a small hamlet in the municipality of Valsolda, where the renowned novel by Antonio Fogazzaro "Piccolo Mondo Antico" is set.
Within easy reach there are some noteworthy, historical churches, among which the village church designed by Pellegrino Tibaldi and the Sanctuary Beata Vergine della Caravina.
The adjoining hamlet of Castello offers a magnificent view on the lake below and is within 15-minutes' walking distance. Here you can visit the museum "Casa Pagani", where the homonymous 17th-century painter lived. The museum "Villa Fogazzaro" is also very close.
Easily walkable paths will allow you to experience an immersion into the greenery. Along the banks of Lake Ceresio, 4 km away, there are lovely beaches and some beautiful scenery.
Besides, the nice and peaceful city of Lugano, with its Casino and the ferry trips, is only 20 minutes' drive away.
