I stayed at Helen's for an extended period during a relocation from London to Manchester. Helen was travelling and away for almost the entirety of the stay, so I had the house to myself. This meant I only saw her for a couple of days, but she's super friendly and easy going.
It was lovely to be able to call Helen's place my home-from-home.
The house is as shown in the pictures and description, and situated in a quiet street on a modern development. Never any trouble with noise from any of the neighbouring properties.
It's also well-equipped with kitchen essentials, and a nice big TV which has BBC iPlayer built-in. The main double bed is lovely and comfy, and the couple of friends who visited and stayed over in the guest room never had any complaints.
Plenty of good facilities a just few minutes walk away, including some great locally-owned cafes and bars to enjoy, and a Co-Op for food essentials. It's less than 10 minutes walk to the Metrolink tram stations at Burton Road or Withington. From there, it's only a 20 minute tram ride into Central Manchester.
Didsbury Village is about a 20 minute walk away and has further choice of food, drink and local shopping - there's a couple of fantastic local independent butchers, and a specialist cheese deli, for instance.
