Pompey - we disclose the external security cameras in the listing, in the rental contract you signed when you booked, as well as in the welcome email. These monitor the external entry-points of the house. I guess you didn't read the listing or the rental agreement?
As I said when I reached out to you -- it was my neighbors that called me with concern about your guests. The neighbors actually spoke with you first. Since it appears you didn't read the rental contract, perhaps you didn't know it was illegal to park all of your cars on the street in front of the neighbor's houses (street parking is prohibited by the county).
My neighbors were concerned that you would be having a party because of all the cars and balloons they saw you bringing into the house. As a result, I had to follow up with you to confirm that you weren't going to have a party -- since I take complaints from my neighbors very seriously. This is a quiet neighborhood, so when our guests violate the rules of the county (as your guests did), it puts us at risk of not being able to rent our home in the future. Thank you for your understanding.
I would suggest reading the full listing details and rental contracts before signing them, and before booking any future listings. Hopefully that will help you avoid listings which don't suit you.
