1. Please take off shoes inside the house and place them on the shoe rack by the door.
2. Don't drag or move anything on the wood or marble floors including furniture, chairs, plants etc.
3. Check-out (IMPORTANT!)
1) Check-out time is 11am
2) Cleaning: The cleaning fee is only to clean the bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen should be left in the check-in condition. If not, the penalty of $100 will be added to the cleaning fee.
4. Security: Please lock the window and doors, especially the windows on downstairs and the doors, when you go out or o to bed. No insurance covers a loss of any personal items due to break-ins unless you have your own insurance to cover such a loss.
5. Please close the window when you run a heater or an air conditioner.
6. Please note the check-in and check-out times. We can typically accommodate requests for early check-ins / late check-outs, but we can only confirm such requests 48 hours before the date requested. The reason is we potentially have other guests coming in or leaving the same day, and cleaners typically need around 5 hours.
7. Be respectful of this home and of the neighbors. This is a quiet community and as such: loud music after 9pm, parties, and hosting very large groups is ABSOLUTELY prohibited. Our neighbors are very sensitive to noise and parties, and will call us at a moment's notice - we will contact you on the 1st complaint, and on the 2nd complaint we will have authorities evict you and your rent money will be forfeited. Reasonable noise levels outdoors before 9pm are OK.
8. Smoking inside the house is absolutely forbidden. Any evidence found of smoking inside will result in a $300 security deposit fine. Please restrict all smoking to the outside and please dispose of all trash properly.
9. Our house should be treated like your own home. While we try to provide a hotel-like experience, this is not a hotel that can be trashed. If furniture, upholstery, floors, paint, anything is damaged or missing, you will be charged out of your security deposit.
10. While we are happy to provide plenty of towels, linens, washcloths, etc....any permanent stains from food, bodily-fluids or make-up will result in a $40 replacement fee.
