Hideki's place is right on The Parade, a road that features heaps of good restaurants and cafes. It's also within very short walking distance to a cinema and a supermarket, and about a 20 min walk to a park and to the centre of town. This means that you are able to find something to eat, drink, shop or even enjoy a bout of exercise at your convenience. The room is simple and comfortable, though being a townhouse do take note that it can get quite cold in winter! That said, Hideki and his housemate Irene will provide enough blankets to warm you right up! If you expect a pristine and clean hotel-esque experience, this place may not be for you but if you're looking for a place to feel at home at, do consider Hideki's home!
When I first booked this place I thought I would not be able to walk to the city where I would have my conferences... it turned out I could. It took me 20 to 25 minutes to walk to Crown plaza with my comfortable heels! It was a win win... I had my morning walk and got to work. This place is very close to Rundle St. Hideki was kind to lend me his bike to go around when needed (I cycle regularly back in my town). Both Hideki and housemate Irine were very kind to their guest, very helpful and did not hesitate to give any assistance whenever they could. After a week stay I felt like staying with old friends! They made my stay in Adelaide comfortable and memorable!
Hideki is really nice. Once we arrived his place, he explained everything in details. Since we arrived his place in the late evening, he offers to give us a lift to the shops to grab some food. The bedroom is pretty big and the bed is pretty comfy. We were also allowed to use his kitchen and other stuffs.
