Welcome! My husband Ben and I are young professionals here in Ann Arbor. This is our cozy studio in a beautiful, contemporary apartment building - all to yourself, and perfectly located to offer you the best of downtown Ann Arbor.
While it's called a studio, the bedroom space is blocked off for some privacy, despite not having an actual door. You'll get a queen bed with fresh linens and clean towels. The walk-in closet is full of our own stuff, but feel free to hang up your items if you can find a spot. We have an in-unit washer/dryer and ironing set for your use.
In the living room, you'll find a cushy couch, suitable for sleeping an extra person. We also have a twin air mattress if you want to squeeze in one more.
We are avid cooks, and have a range of kitchen tools and appliances. You are welcome to use everything you see (barring pantry/fridge food items) - including spices, oils, condiments, appliances, pots and pans, bowls, utensils, etc. - but please take care of everything, and leave items as you found them. If you'd like to cook your own food, the Kerrytown neighborhood - with its farmer's market, grocery stores, and other shopping - is ~10min walk away.
One important note: We do have an exceptionally sweet and well-behaved cat, Peter. I'll ask you to crack open a can of food for him once a day, but he is happy keeping to himself (that is, unless you want to cuddle, which he is likely to happily oblige). I keep the apartment clean and as free of pet hair as humanly possible, but this probably won't be the best arrangement for someone with cat allergies.

We'll be out of town during your stay, but will try to be as available by phone/email/text as possible. You'll get a house manual with recommendations for dining, drinking, and playing, but we're also happy to chat with you in person before you arrive!

Unfortunately, there is no free parking in adjacent public garages/lots (except on Sundays, when all parking is fair game). However, we both keep our own cars parked in unmetered street parking ~5 minutes from the apartment, and have never had issues finding spots. Ask us for more details.
All we ask is that you please be respectful of our belongings, and to be courteous of our neighbors.
My husband Ben and I love to be outside (we're big into biking, running, and climbing...and snowboarding when we can get away from the Midwest!). At home, we're quiet folks who like to cook, read, play strategy board games, and cuddle with our cat Peter.
