--- Warning: DON'T BE MISGUIDED BY THE PHOTOS ---
We spent a few days for holidays in Milan, and chose Mauro's appartment for our stay, since it looked pretty nice on the photos.
One the plus side, the location was extremely nice. Located directly in a very vivid and lively area, but in a pretty quite backstreet. A shopping area is located on the main street, and a supermarket is just a few meters nearby. The metro is also very close. Couldn't image any better location!
The house itself looks nice from the outside with a pretty beautiful backyard.
But after arriving we saw that every single decoration element, every carpet, and every picture on the wall (except one) was missing. This made the apartment extremely uncomfortable. It had only the bare minimum there: The sofa, desk, chairs and the bed. Not even the pillows on the sofa were there anymore. So, here is the gentle warning: DON'T BE MISGUIDED BY THE PHOTOS. It doesn't look anything like that in reality. It looks very cold, almost like the place had been robbed a few days ago. Pretty disappointing, especially since Mauro advertises his appartement with beautiful photos.
Also, the floor wasn't really clean, after walking around the appartement in white socks for half an hour, those socks weren't white anymore. That floor needed a mopping for sure.
Other than that, the kitchen accessories were okay (Basic stuff available, although fairly used). Again, note that all the stuff on the photos (mixer on the counter etc.) is not there at all.
In conclusion, we still enjoyed our stay because the location was great, but did not feel comfortable in the appartement, so we spent most of our time outside.
