Our house was originally the main chapel of Skudeneshavn, and is located in the old part of the town. The chapel was built in 1860, but is today a modern house with short walk for all attractions and a great view of the town and the harbour.

If you plan to spend one or more nights in the lovely town of Skudeneshavn, this charming little house should be your shelter! It was recently renovated, perfectly clean, quiet and well isolated, with a large bathroom with great shower, a small kitchen fully equipped with complimentary coffee and instant food, and the bedroom where 3 people can sleep. It also has WiFi. The 2 short flights of stairs to climb to get to the house place it on higher ground, giving a nice view on town's roof and even a corner of sea in the background. We didn't get the chance to try out the hot tub as it was raining, but it was there on the terrace! If you plan to do more in the house than just sleep, then you may find that it lacks a kind of living room although it didn't bother us. The bed that sleeps 2 people is a bit narrow, sheets and towels are freshly cleaned. The owner / manager is super nice and available, thanks again!

A really lovely place to stay. Beautiful view and a nice balcony to enjoy the evening sun. I can imagine that it will be a bit small place to stay when it rains. We had a wonderful time. The welcome was warm and we had a nice chat!

Heine's apartment was in a very picturesque location, and had a lot of historical charm. Note: Steps are needed to climb for entry. (Not a problem for us.) It had a comfortable bed and modern private bathroom. There were some adjacent apartments that shared walls/doors, but we had our own space. The kitchen would've been sufficient if needed, but we ate fish-n-chips at a local spot. Very quiet town, not so much to do if that's what you're looking for, but it was perfect to take in an authentic, coastal village experience. Some nice shops as well. A very local feel! Beautiful. We'd recommend! I only forgot to ask the entry code beforehand so we had to call. For those traveling internationally like us it requires wifi, which they had at the apartment. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We stayed 2 days first half of june. Karmøy is a nice island. Skudenesshavn is a pittoresk village. Very silent, but I think in summer there's more to do and see. The accommodation is very simple and very small. There is a small twin bed with a one person bed close above it. So we decided to sleep separately. There is a very small kitchen, but you cannot cook. We filtered the Airbnb accommodations on kitchen facilities, so this was very disappointing. When we contacted the owner, he said "there are restaurants in the neighborhood". After some pressure, we could use the kitchen of another appartement in the same building, that was still free. The owner promised to bring a stove the next day. Further about the accommodation: a good and modern bathroom and a nice terrace with a nice view over the red tiles of the white houses. For one evening or when the weather is good, so you can sit on the terrace, we can recommend this place.

We are a married couple with 2 kids, living in the small town of Skudeneshavn in Norway. Our house used to be the main chapel (and community house) of the town, until it was sold to a local artist in the late 1970s. We love to travel, and enjoy meeting people from other places.
