This spacious flat occupies the lower level of a grand mid-19th century building at the end of a terrace of large houses. Well-tended gardens with trees lie on three sides of the building giving a quiet and secluded feeling. There's a lounge, a very recently fitted kitchen with dishwasher and a washing machine, a large bedroom with en suite bathroom and a separate shower room. Bed linen and towels are provided and there is WiFi throughout.

As well as the rooms in the flat, guests have access to the small patio with garden table and chairs at the rear of the building.

We normally have a free parking space available for one car at the rear of the property. If you are coming with more cars there is meter parking close by which is free at weekends.

Waiting for you will be maps and guides to the area and as much information as you’re likely to need. Check-in is normally from 4 pm and check-out by 11 am. Wendy welcomed us and we had a good time in the flat, just a short walk from Restaurants, Pubs and Shops. We can highly recommand Wendy and he flat.

The flat is exactly as advertised and is one of the cleanest and most comfortable places we have ever stayed. Not only the beds were comfortable but the couch where my husband had several naps! The location is awesome with the proximity to Byres Road and all the wonderful restaurants, the grocery stores and transportation which we used either by cab or the subway. It was extremely quiet being so close to the university. It was simply perfect and the best way to start our Scotland vacation. Wendy is an awesome host and let us drop our stuff off early as we had an early morning arrival. We were even able to have the flat early which was appreciated after our long journey. There was 3 of us and we have plenty of space. Only wish it was drier so we could have enjoyed the garden... but it is Glasgow! Perfect location... We will be back!

A great flat with tasteful decoration and a calm ambience. Wendy was helpful and friendly and her accommodation was even better than described. Situated in a great area of Glasgow with good transport links. We would book again.

This appartment is located in the best area for art, bars, restaurants and still it s a calm and residential area.. The apartment itself was superclean and mega comfortable. And the hosts are great people as well. Nothing to wish more..

The flat is really nice and well located in a pleasant district of Glasgow , close to the City Centre although calm;But with a lot of shops and very nice restaurants. It is also very closed by foot to Glasgow's major attractions (Kelvingrove museum, Hunterian Art Gallery and Macintosh's House, Botanic Garden....) Wendy and Ian's welcome was perfect. Our hostess is very eager to make us at ease and is very kind, the appartement is perfectly clean with all comfort. the fact we could park our car in the rear alley was also perfect and allowed us to do everything by foot. Wendy & Ian's property is beautiful and very spacious, comfortable and clean. It's in Hillhead; a very cool and attractive area. An assortment of stylish cafés, cosy pubs and various supermarkets are only a 5-10 minute walk away. The backyard is really nice to sit in when the sun comes out and the apartment is fully equipped for short or long stays. It really felt like "home". The mattresses are very VERY comfortable. It's not central, but that was never an issue as it was easy to get around, either on foot or with taxi & uber. All communication was prompt and discrete. Wendy is a wonderful host. We highly recommend 39 Hillhead Street!

Our party of 3 loved our 2 night stay in the West end. Wendy and Ian are very welcoming hosts and their airbnb apt is easily 5 star! Very clean, luxurious and lots of extras that made the stay a wow experience. Place for car is handy and beds were extremely comfortable.
