Princes Wharf Shed 20, 4th floor spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with floor to ceiling windows opening onto a 64 sqm deck. Views NE over the harbour to North Shore.

One of two newly refurbished apartments on the 4th floor of Shed 20, this 106sqm apartment has two king bedrooms (both convertible to twins if required at an additional fee) and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a huge walk- in wardrobe through to a spacious tiled ensuite which has both a shower and separate bath. The second bathroom has a shower only.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped and there is a separate laundry.

Minimum stay is one week, the apartment is serviced weekly and/or on departure including a complete linen change. No allocated carpark but there is metered parking on the wharf and a public carpark opposite the entrance.

The complex is close to the Auckland Municipal Salt Water Tepid Baths which also has full gym facilities.

Apartment does not come with a carpark but there is metered parking on the wharf and a public AT Carpark opposite the entrance. Occasionally we may be able to rent you a covered carpark in the Wharf Complex too.

Princes Wharf is still a working wharf and although the Overseas Cruise Terminal moved to Queens Wharf opposite in October 2013 the occasional liner will still berth outside your window for the day - go to the Ports of Auckland website for the timetable.

Beware, that cruise ships may dock frequently staying for days, along your balcony. They are very noisy, impact privacy and totally block the view shown in the Airbnb ad. You will need to draw all the curtains day and night for privacy. The second bedroom has a very uncomfortable mattress that feels like a wire boxspring. There is a fair amount of black soot from boats especially on the balcony. Deep cleaning of carpets and upholstery is needed. When we arrived, the balcony and windows were filthy and the apartment inside needed cleaning. This was done on the second morning after we arrived. On the plus side, when a ship is not there, the view is wonderful and privacy is good. The location is great for taking trips on the many ferries and for visiting the sights, attractions, shopping and restaurants of Auckland. The location is right next to the Hilton on Princess Pier in the same building where the cruise ships dock. Security is good. Cleaning staff is good. The kitchen is nice the master bedroom is large and that bed is wonderful. This is not owner managed. During our stay, repair staff was needed for the dining table, vacuum cleaner, dishwasher, DVD player (still broken) and rehanging a large painting that fell off wall. We never met the owner nor the property manager. Can't imagine why ;).

I was here for work and it was the perfect location. Great views from the apartment and some cool bars and restaurants all moments away. The check-in was simple despite being out of hours, apartment was clean and spacious. Host was responsive with all queries and even provided a last min late check-out. Will definitely stay here again.

Great apartment and great location. We were close to restaurants and shops. Beautiful view. Our party of four were comfortable and had an overall pleasant stay in the apartment.

Property Manager of quality privately owned apartments & houses available for short term leases in the Auckland CBD district and nearby suburbs.
All properties are furnished to a high standard, free hi speed internet, either SKY or Freeview TV, power allowance and are serviced weekly including a full linen change.
Minimum stay is one week although over the quieter winter months some properties are available for stays of five days or longer.
Bookings taken up to 3 months in advance (no further out due to the management contract we have with the owners).
