Our bright and spacious and Victorian home is just 200 meters from the mainline rail station. An ideal base from where to explore many of Cornwall's sights and beaches. There is a south facing rear garden, three bedrooms, a well appointed kitchen, two shower rooms and two reception rooms, one of which features a sofa bed.

Although the house dates from Victorian times, it has recently undergone a total refurbishment so there are all the features of a Victorian house - large rooms, high ceilings etc as well as all the creature comforts of modern homes, gas central heating, double glazing, wifi etc.
The town offers the perfect base from where to explore Cornwall with many of the tourist towns accessible by train and bus or by car. The train to Truro takes 10 minutes, the very picturesque fishing village of St Ives can be reached in under 40 minutes by train.
Outside the gardens and rear patio enjoy sunshine for most of the day.
The sitting room is spacious with plenty of seating for 6. The three bedrooms have a King sized, standard double and 4ft beds respectively. By prior arrangement we can make up a sofa bed in the large master bedroom. On the lower ground floor is the second reception room with a sofa bed, arm chair and direct access to the garden.
Whilst there is no bathtub, both showers are powerful and there is unlimited hot water in the smaller shower room whilst the upstairs shower room can offer up to three hot showers before the booster is required.
The kitchen has all mod cons, washer-dryer, dishwasher, double oven, fridge and freezer, microwave and cupboards full of utensils.
The house is arranged over three floors, is bright and spacious and would suit both families or groups of friends alike.

wir haben das schöne Haus ganz kurzfristig für 2 tage gebucht, die Kommunikation war sehr gut wir konnten schon eher in das Haus und waren angenehm überrascht von der Grösse und Schönheit dieses Hauses. 2 sehr schöne neue Bäder, eine gut ausgestattete grosse moderne Küche und ein süsser garten über den sich die Hunde sehr gefreut haben. wir haben uns SEHR wohlgefühlt und können es wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Die lage ist sehr gut man ist schnell am Strand oder auch zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten Südcornwalls wie St Ives, Truro, Penzance und ein sehr schöner Hundestrand in Gwithian. Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt der uns für die nächsten Wohnungen sehr verwöhnt hat.

There is nothing that could be improved upon in this house. It was beautifully clean, spacious, well designed, the kitchen was well equipped, it had a lovely garden, very comfortable beds and chill out reception rooms. Maria was very accommodating and responded immediately to messages. Thanks Maria.

Maria's house is very nice, clean and spacious, which I already thought from the photos and it was even better when I got there! The location is great being 5min walk from Redruth train station, and Maria was a very helpful and welcoming host.

Bright, spacious , comfortable and well equipped, Maria's house was a perfect home from home during our trip. Its central location made it ideal for exploring the local area. which has so much to offer. Highly recommended and we hope to be able to return for another visit soon.

This was a beautiful, spacious house, well appointed with all the facilities that we needed. Communication with the landlady was excellent with clear instructions about how to manage everything. We were surprised and delighted by the welcome pack that was there on our arrival. I would definitely recommend it and if we will be looking for it next time we are down this way.

Five of us stayed in Maria's house for a week and it was an excellent Airbnb experience. Location is good, in a quiet residential street, and communication with Maria was faultless throughout, even though she was away at the time. Any minor problems or queries we had were resolved quickly, and we would not hesitate to return to the house in the future. Recommended. Thanks, Maria.
