Horizons is a beautiful home with three floors of oceanfront views. 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths with a massive master bedroom. 9 total full length balconies are located on each floor both front and back with direct ocean views on the back side. Small fenced in backyard, with a direct beach access. Shopping center is within 2 miles fo groceries, cleaning supplies, etc. dishes are provided, but not much for cleaning supplies so be prepared to bring your own dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, sponges, etc. Bath towels are provided but very minimally, so also be prepared to bring your own. Beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc. are not available so make sure to pack those for your beach days! A wonderful stay overall!

We visited the Sunset tower in August 2017 for a family gathering with 5 couples and 2 infants. The house was larger than the photos showed. 4 bedrooms. 3 full and 1 half bath. Living room with extra seating at a bar area, family room (on lower level), large eat in kitchen with bar and table with 6 seats, a large den (which could function as another bedroom except there is no door. They suggested using a tension rod and curtain which l don't often carry around on Vacation with me). We ended up using the family room on the lower level for our 5th couple, (not perfect, no privacy). Yet, the main level had plenty of spacious room for family time and no one needed to wander down to the family room. Small indoor elevator was a plus for luggage. The location was beautiful on a quiet beach. The views were incredible. In my opinion, the house needs simmer TLC. It is minimally furnished and not well maintained. The AC and hot water worked well and were plentiful. WiFi worked well. Mostly all kitchen appliances were working well, including the dryer (l saw a complaint on a previous review) . No complaints there. But lots of simple repairs were needed. Towel racks or toilet paper holders falling off the walls. Lower outdoor stair rail falling off. Multiple missing or ripped screens on sliding glass doors that opened poorly. There are no dressers in the bedrooms, few dining chairs (for a place meant for 12 guests). The sofa sleeper in the lower family room would not work for 2 people (too small and hard). The 2 roll away beds were standard hotel fare which are not good for anyone larger than a teenage boy. We brought our own blow up queen mattress and linens for it. There was plenty of room for it. We brought all cribs and infant chairs, etc for our crawling babies. (Too bad there was no vacuum available to clean the rugs later in the week for the babies). There were exactly enough towels for the 10 of us but no wash clothes. No beach towels, no hand towels for the bathrooms nor kitchen towels. I will say that the host responded quickly when we asked for bathroom hand towels. We got exactly one for each bathroom. There was no hand soap in the bathrooms, no dishwasher soap for the poorly functioning dishwasher. The kitchen continued the minimalist theme. Exactly enough dishes for 12 people. Very few baking dishes. No serving bowls. There were adequate pots and pans and knives. Thankfully there was a cork screw! I was disappointed in the outdoor grill. It is the old county park type charcoal grill. We brought an indoor card table and lots of folding sports chairs and beach chairs and umbrellas. We totally enjoyed using our own kayaks on the sandy, shallow for a long way out, warm water beach. Watching the ships and helicopters was great sport....

The beach is very nice. The house is OK, not great. There is a fair amount of disrepair. The front steps are falling apart, and the railing is deceptively unsteady--a real hazard. There are torn screens and the walls are scuffed. Both ice-makers were broken--we had to buy ice. Three of the four bedrooms have no dressers (or hangers in the closets), so it's impossible to unpack suitcases. The kitchen has the bare minimum, but no water pitcher, sponge, dishwasher soap, or detergent. And no soap in the bathrooms, either. But if your expectations are reasonably low, this house will do.

House is right on the beach. Three decks overlooking the beach. With an identical house next door, the two houses would be perfect for a large gathering. Check in/check out very easy.

This is the best view on Norfolk beach. If you are looking for a great view and you are able to bring all your amenities with you (like the old days of time shares) then this is the place for you. The heating and cooling worked fine. There are however no furniture in the bedrooms except the bed. You can't put your shoes on without sitting on the stairs. It is also minimally furnished in all areas. Each guest gets only one towel and one wash cloth no hand towel or bath mats. After asking for a blanket for each bed we were provided with additional quilts and comforters. We had to call maintenance because none of the bedside table lamps worked and multiple bulbs were burned out throughout the house including over the stove. We had to cook meals during the day because you could not see into the pans you were cooking in as the overhead light is broken and the light above the stove is out. They listing says it sleeps 12 but there were only enough linens for 8 and only 5 parking spaces. The 2 roll-a-way beds for the last two people are not suitable for adults but would be fine for children. We had to send that couple to a hotel instead of staying with us. I don't blame them no linens and a unsuitable roll-a-ways. I spent so much money purchasing the things that were missing it was a great expense.

With this not being the busy vacation season we expected a few bumps in the road with this trip. However, Horizons was very available and was super fast to respond to any issues/questions. The host was more than accommodating.

The host was easy to contact the day of check in and made them self available if needed... the location was awesome and perhaps better than the description or pictures... we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return for our annual gathering!
